CHAPTER 25

She had seen the way he looked at her. She didn’t want him to suspect anything about she and Khaleed,she couldn’t disagree with him when Mason was there so she stood and followed him.

“This way miss” He said to her as she followed him into a long corridor. She was also determined to hear some things from him.

“So who is this lady my name reminds you of?” She asked finally breaking the silence between them when they stood by the rail.

“Some sort of friend. A close friend. She is the heiress of AYSH GROUP” Kabir said resting on the rail.

“Oh,the one that died” Adsh said.

“Don’t tell me you believe that?”

“Why?” Adsh asked surprised.

“She isn’t dead” Kabir answered.

“Why do you say that? Everyone believes she’s dead”

“Everyone except me. I know she’s alive somewhere” Kabir said.

“There must be some special relationship between you two for you to be saying this” Adsh said.

“Not what i want to talk about” Kabir said remorsefully.

“Then it means you’re ashamed of what happened between you two” Adsh said pressing on.

“I’m not. I’m just regretting all what i did to her that i shouldn’t have”

“And what could that be?” Adsh asked again trying for hear what Kabir had to say.

He knew he shouldn’t be having this type of conversation with his brother pregnant fiancee,but he didn’t know why he just had the urge to tell her everything.

He hadn’t felt like this to anyone except Aysh,and he was having this same feeling with his brother fiancee. Could it be that……No. It can’t be. He can’t fall for his brother fiancée.

Aysh is alive somewhere and he loves her and he is going to continue to love and apologize to her for all what he did.

“I did a very bad thing and it was too late before i realized i__” He was interrupted by Khaleed’s voice.

“Come on Adsh let’s go home” Khaleed said from behind. Adsh turned around and walked over to him.

“Let’s go” Adsh said when she got to him and gave a small wave to Kabir which he smiled back. They left the corridor leaving Kabir alone in his thoughts.

She’s a nice woman. I think i like her,but her fiancé is the problem. Kabir thought to himself as he made his way to his room.

The drive home was made in silence as both Khaleed and Adsh were lost in thoughts.
She couldn’t believe Kabir could talk like that. He regretted all what he did to her and he believed she wasn’t dead.

He is the only one that believed she wasn’t dead,even her parents thought her dead. He was about to say something when Khaleed interrupted them.

What could he have wanted to say?

Khaleed had been listening to all what they were saying,he didn’t want to interrupt them. But Kabir wanted to say he love Aysh. He couldn’t allow that.

All her believe is that Kabir never felt a thing for her,if he tells her now she might be thinking otherwise about their whole plan and he didn’t want that and again he is afraid he’s already falling in love with her.

Khaleed didn’t go straight to his office that day,he had something he wanted to discuss with doctor King. He got to his door and knocked softly when he heard the doctor inviting him in.

Doctor King had a visitor when he got in so he motioned silently for Khaleed to sit. He took his seat and noticed doctor King visitor was a man and he looked like he has been crying. The man also resembles Doctor King.

“James,i don’t want you to brood over this too much” Doctor King said to the man which Khaleed later suspected his name is James.

“Your wife called me and told me you’ve turned yourself into a drunk because of your problem. You have low sperm count doesn’t mean you should die,it’s not the end of the world,and your wife isn’t even complaining. Who knows,a miracle could happen any time and you can be able to father a baby” Doctor King stopped for a while and then continued.

“I use to tell you about senator Anderson,that is now contesting for Mayor. When he first got married he also had low sperm count and couldn’t father a baby and finally a miracle happened and he had a son who is now giving him more chance to be the Mayor” Doctor King concluded.

By now James was sniffing resulting from his cries. Khaleed was listening to all they were saying attentively especially the Senator’s part.

“So now i want you to go home,apologize to your wife,bath,dress up and get to work. You know what you went through before you could get this job,you can’t be childless and be jobless at the same time” Doctor King concluded.

“Thanks so much bro,i don’t know what i could have done without you” James said finally raises his head.

“You are welcome” Doctor King said smiling to his little brother.

“Let me get going” James said standing up to leave the room.

“Is that your brother?” Khaleed asked when James finally left the room.

“Yes,he is. Any problem with that?”

“No…nothing. It’s just that when you were talking you made mention of senator Anderson,something about low sperm count” Khaleed said.

“That time,Gabriel was a friend of mine and i was his doctor. He had come running to me when his wife couldn’t conceive and i found out he had low sperm count,but later i heard his wife was pregnant. He was so annoyed with me saying i’m not a competent doctor. That caused our fight so we departed” Doctor King explained.

“But is that possible?” Khaleed asked,puzzled.

“Medically,it is not but i don’t know about a miracle” Doctor King said smiling. “So what are you here for?” He asked but Khaleed was lost in thought he didn’t hear anything.

“Khaleed?” He called while Khaleed jolted out of his thoughts. “I said what are you here for?”

“Oh that. We will talk about it later,i need to attend to something urgent” He said leaving the room while doctor King Shrugged.

Khaleed ran to his office,he had seen how he could help Adsh get her revenge. This is the only hope of him getting to the Anderson’s. The way Kabir had been behaving lately he knew he can’t hurt Aysh.

So now his main suspect is Anderson and now he had seen what he could use against him. If Gage isn’t his son,it will not only make him loose the election it would also make him loose being a politician because he had lied about having a son.

Today Gabriel Anderson was having lunch with some of the politicians and he was thinking on how to get something for a DNA. He took his phone from his pocket and dialled Vincent number. “Hello” Vincent picked up on the second ring.

“Hello vincent,i need your help please” Khaleed said.

“You need to be fast,i’m really busy. We are guarding the lunch hall the politicians are having lunch” Vincent said at the other end of the line rushing.

“Great. Just great. Since you’re there please i want you to get the saliva sample of Senator Anderson’s from his cup. I mean the cup he’s using”

“Wait!! What?! Are you crazy? What for? And when did you start licking saliva?”

“Come on be serious for once,i need it for something” Khaleed said.

“Are you kidding me right now? I could get caught and worst still,get fired” Vincent said.

“Please Vincent,i need this,it’s so important to me right now” Khaleed pleaded.

“Okay. Fine. I’m going to try my best and if i get caught just know once i’m released you’re done” Vincent said.

“Thanks dude. I owe you one. Please call me when you get it so i can come and pick it up”

“Sure,i have to go now,i’m really busy and P:S don’t call me till the lunch is over” Vincent said hanging up.

After hanging up Khaleed started thinking of what next to do. He was thinking of how to get hold of any thing from Gage be it saliva or a strand of hair.

Then an idea struck his mind. He searched up for Gage’s profile on google then found his number. He picked up his phone and passed a call across to him.

“Hello” Gage husky voice said from the other end of the line.

“Hello” Khaleed said trying his best to disguise his voice.

“Hello,who is this?” Gage asked.

“It’s someone you don’t wish to know but has a message for you” Khaleed said.

“Gentleman,i don’t have time for prank calls. I’m hanging up” Gage said annoyed about how someone can be so dumb with speech.

“Before you hang up,” Khaleed said, quickly before Gage could hang up “Aren’t you wondering if Ayesha Sherman is alive since her body wasn’t found?”

“What are you talking about?” Gage asked surprised.

“Ahh,i even heard you two were about to get married before her accident,i’m sure you will be so heartbroken” Khaleed said.

“Man,what exactly are you trying to get at?” Gage said surprised.

“If you want to know her whereabout why don’t we meet at Bliss then we can talk better” Khaleed said.

“Is it done?”

”Done”

Hmmmm. Hope Khaleed will not tell Gage Aysh is alive just because of saliva sample sha. Drop your thoughts
