~KATHRYN~

Is he crazy?

Is he joking with me?

Is he trying to be funny or what? Cause I can’t think of any other possible explanation to why he would ask me to run to a coffee shop that’s it least ten kilometer from here and ask me to bring ten cofeee to him.

And not together at once either. One by one.

Which means I will be delivering it to him one by one?

I will have hundred kilometers to run in the next ten times twenty minutes?

I will rather kneel.

“But that’s impossible, how can you ask me to bring the coffees to you one by one you know how far that coffee shop is from the office ”

My eyes are widen and he shakes his head, smiling.

I see he’s enjoying this so much.

“Why? You can’t do it? If you can’t do it then you can leave then.

I will tell your manager that I wasn’t the one that fire you but instead to walked out if the office yourself. ”

He snores. Son of a b***h!

“But I mean. Yeah, I can go but there’s no possible way I can complete everything in just ten to twenty minutes. I will rather kneel. ”

I start bending down but he shakes his head, meaning it’s a not and he wouldn’t accept me kneeling.

“That’s the punishment I’m giving you and you either accept it or leave.

Don’t you think you’re wasting your time talking right now?

I’m sure you would have delivered one coffee right now ”

He smiles and I groan before walking out of the office.

There’s no f****ng way that I would be have to deliver ten coffees one by one in two to twenty minutes unless I’m bringing then from just outside the office.

My eyes lands in the car and I look away when a idea strikes my head and I chuckle, looking back at the car.

He wants me to deliver ten coffees one by one right?

Well, no f****ng problem!

I will just grab the car right now and bring ten coffees all together then I will start giving it to him one by one from the car.

Oh god. I am just too smart.

He thinks he’s smart right? Well I’m smarter than him.

I walk inside the car and laughs as I hit the road.

This feels just so good.

•••

I’ve been delivering the coffee one by one after getting every one.. Every ten cofeee inside the car and I wait for a minute or two before grabbing the next one and rubbing towards his office to deliver it.

I can see the surprise in his face when I drop the coffee but because he’s apparently talking to someone, he wouldn’t say anything.

I laugh to myself as I grab the last coffee in the car and breathe out.

Oh finally.

I walk into the office, into the elevator then his office and drop the last Coffee on his desk. No one is in here anymore.

He’s staring at me as I bow to him and smile.

“Got anything to say boss? ”

I raise my brows. God, it’s so fun watching his face right now.

The look on his face is priceless, he must have think I wouldn’t have been able to do it but of course I’m smart and I came up with a faster solution than just running around.

“As you can see I’ve already delivered your orders so I guess I still get to stay. ”

I smile and he scoffs.

“You didn’t do it like I said. There no way you could have run miles and be here in just sixteen minutes. ”

He says and I laugh.

“But I brought the coffee one by one like you asked. ”

I pout and he scoffs, shaking his head.

“No, you didn’t. ”

“I did. I mean actually, you didn’t order not to buy the coffee all together.

You didn’t ask me to buy the coffee one by one, you only said I should deliver one by one so I got the coffee all together and deliver it one by one. ”

I laugh and his mouth hangs open but no words is coming out of it.

“And that’s why I’m smart. I guess I still keep my job anyways. ”

I wink at him and grab my bag, laughing as I walk out of the room.

Oh, it feels so good to be smart.
