ALLISON’S POV

Finally Saturday is here. I don’t know why I’m feeling nervous, it’s not like I’m a teenager going out on her first date. I can’t just help feeling nervous, butterflies have been dancing in my stomach since morning.
I couldn’t really eat properly because of my nervousness.

“Chill babe. Don’t stress yourself. The date would be a success”. Jess said to me.
Waoh, I didn’t know it’s obvious that I’m a nervous wreck.

“I’m trying to chill but it’s not working”. I told her.

“Breathe in and breathe out for like 30 seconds. You’d be fine”. Jess said.

I did as she said and it actually helped, I realised my nerves are now calm. Thanks to doctor Jess🤣🤣
“Thanks dear, it really worked”. I said to her.
Just then my phone started ringing. I checked the caller and it was Bryan.

📲Hello”. I said after swiping on the receive button.
📲Hi dear. I’m already outside your house”. he said to me.

📲Okay. Just give me 30 minutes to dress up”. I said to him and hang up.

I quickly dressed in a pink gown that reached my knees. I put on a pink cross bag to match and a pair of black sandals. I decide to use a light makeup and I packed my hair into a ponytail. I checked the mirror and I was pleased with what I saw.

‘How do I look?”. I asked Jess

“You look grand. Now don’t keep the guy waiting for long. I’d see you in the evening”. Jess said.

“Bye dear”. I said as I left the room.

BRYAN’S POV

Wow, she look really breathtaking. I was wondering why on earth someone will need 30 minutes just to dress up when I saw her coming from her apartment. I must admit that the gown really suit her. It accentuate her curves yet it was still modest.

“Good afternoon”. her voice brought me back to reality.

“Good afternoon”. I replied her.

“Where are we going to?” she asked.

“It’s kind of a surprise. You would see when we get there”. I said to her.

I opened the front door of the car for her to get in. I got into the driver’s seat and I drove to the amusement park.
Through out the drive to the amusement park Ally was busy pressing her phone. I didn’t want to strike a conversation yet because we’d still have time for that later so I decide to listen to songs on the car’s stereo so as to make the ride lively.
After a while, we got to the amusement park.

“We are there”. I said to her. I could see she is surprised. She clearly wasn’t expecting our date to take place here.

“Huh? The amusement park? “. She asked incredulously.

“Yes but you’re going to love it” I said to her.

“Okay, let’s go in”. She said.

ALLISON’S POV

I’m surprised that the amusement park is our destination. Of all the places in the world, why did he choose the amusement park?
Since we are here, I might as well enjoy myself.
As a kid, I always wanted to come to the park but my parents issues didn’t allow it. If they are not quarrelling today, mom would be at the hospital tomorrow. Most times, I was left at the neighbours place. I don’t want to think of sad memories so I pushed it all aside.
I saw some couples on a merry-go-round and I turned to Bryan “should we try that?” I asked him.

“Sure, anything for you”. he replied.
We spent 20 minutes on the merry-go-round. I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on this kind of fun all my life.
I have to try everything they have to offer in this place.
I rode on the bouncing castle while Bryan went on a roller coaster ride.
After a while, we swapped rides and I went on the roller coaster while he rode on the bouncing castle.
We both took a ride on a ghost train. The interior of the train is terrifying. It has creepy wallpapers that looked real. I was so scared at a point that I didn’t know when I buried my face in Bryan’s chest. I must confess, he has a nice abs though. He must be working out, I concluded. I don’t even know why I’m having this kind of thoughts.
As soon as the train stopped I heaved a sigh of relief.

“Do you still want to try some other rides?”. Bryan asked.

“Not really, but I could just sit on that swing over there”. I said pointing at a swing which was painted blue.
We both got to the swing and I sat down on it while Bryan pushed me. We stayed that way till he broke the silence.

“I want to get some cotton candies. What other things can I get for you?”. he asked.

“Pepsi Cola is fine”. I told him.

He went to get the cotton candies and drinks for us. I can’t believe I had this much fun in just a day. I’m so happy I came on this friendly date. Bryan is not really bad as I thought.
I can’t wait to tell Jess all about this outing.

BRYAN’S POV

As I went to get the cotton candies and drinks. I can’t help but think about the lovely moments we just shared. She looked so excited as she was trying out different things as if she is just visiting an amusement park for the first time. I particularly loved that moment in the ghost train when she was scared and she buried her head in my chest.
I quickly bought what I wanted to buy and head back to the swing where I left her.

“Take, this is yours”. I said as I hand her the cotton candy and Pepsi Cola she requested for.

“Thanks. I really appreciate”. she said.

“You are welcome”. I replied.
I checked my wristwatch and it was already 6:00pm so I asked Ally if we could leave.

“It’s getting late already, I think we should start going”. I said.

“Yeah, sure. Thanks for today. I really enjoyed myself”. she said.

“It’s my pleasure” I replied her. We both walked to my car and I opened the door for her after which I drove her to her apartment.
