Skyler stayed till evening that day. We sit at the lake shore throwing pebbles at the lake.

” You know I’ve never seen you sing before.” She said.

” Jeez I’m so horrible..”

” I like it horrible.” She said and grinned.

” I’m serious , you don’t wanna hear me sing. I’m so lame. My voice is forbidden..” I said.

Skyler burst out laughing so hard.

” Come on , I won’t laugh at you.” She teased.

” I can’t fall for that. I’ve not sing and you are already laughing.” I said and she gigles.

” Okay I’m sorry. I just wanna hear you sing.” She said softly.

” Promise me you won’t laugh.”

She smiled and zip her mouth.

I cleared my throat and sighed. I can’t believe I’m about to sing for Skyler. The last time I remembered singing was at the mass choir , jeez I’m always shy so I stand at the back. To be frank my voice is dope I just hate singing that’s all.

I sang Alan walker , Faded for her. God you need to see Skyler’s face , I regretted ever singing.

” You were fuckin right. Your voice is lame.” She said laughing.

I refused to say a word , I ignored her and threw pebbles at the lake.

” I’m sorry..” she whispered.

” I know.” I said and winked.

” You were fab.” She said and winked back.

” Thanks.” I said and stopped throwing pebbles.

I sighed and smiled at her.

” I wish we could be together.” I said.

” We can be together. I know the battles are hard but I won’t give up on you.” She said.

I smiled and hold her hands.

” I truly love you. I was just scared of heartbreaks. I’ve never fallen in love before , it’s so weird when people talk about love. I felt it when you walk out on me. I don’t know why I’m telling you this but I thought you need to know that I truly love you.”

She smiled broadly and kissed me. I wished it didn’t have to end.

” I love you.” She said and i kissed her forehead.

” What about Justin and your dad ?”

” I broke up , he’s not leaving.”

” Weird.” I said softly.

I took her home that evening , the guys were present. They were glued to the TV over the renovation issue in our environment.

” Hey guys.” Skyler waved.

” What is she doing here ?” Thando asked angrily.

” You just need to calm down.” Alex and Selene cut in.

” Really ? Just tell her to get out. You’re bringing in too much troubles and I pray you don’t take his life.” Thando said.

” I’m sorry.” She said.

” You don’t have to , just leave. Go away from here. Your annoying father is looking for war , I don’t want to see his family around here. You all are scumbags.” Thando yelled a bit high and sat down.

” Let me walk you out.” I said holding Skyler’s hands.

We walked out of the apartment and head to the road.

” You need to stay away from here. You really need to , it’s not safe at all.” I said.

” Yeah. He hates me now and it’s my father’s fault.” Skyler said.

” I’m Sorry.” I said to her and board a cab for her.

I kissed her cheek and and watched her enter , the cab left and I sighed turning back to my house.

” Thando I hate that sh*t you did.” I said and jammed the door.

” Really ? You’re not in love b***h , you’re just blind. I won’t even think about it if anything happens to you.” Thando fired .

” What the f**k are you talking about ? Nothing is gonna happen to me except you want it.” I yelled.

” Guys that’s enough. I mean we shouldn’t be fighting over some romance issues. Lino you need to tell Skyler to stay away for now . It’s not safe , Jonah got his eyes on you.” Alex said.

” I know , I already told her.” I said and sat down.

” You’re just too dumb to be fooling your a$$ around sky.” Lorah cut in.

” So who’s talking ?” Selene asked.

” I’m talking.” Lorah said boldly.

” The cheap slut , why can’t you get your face out of here.” Thando yelled at her.

” You’re acting as if I’m the cause of the problems behind your sad faces.” Lorah said.

” You contributed to it. Your stupid womb couldn’t forbid things like pregnancy. Girls like you are giving their boyfriend’s millions you’re busy looking forward to giving him a child. I just hate you , I hope you’re not trying to move out with us.” Thando said.

” Guys..” I cut in.

I was feeling pity on Lorah cause she was about crying.

” That’s enough.” I added.

” f**k.” Thando said and stormed out

Lorah left too after wiping her tiny tears.

” I’m so fucked up.” Selene said and sat down.

” Everyone is.” Alex said.

” You visited him again right ?” Jonah quaried.

” I didn’t , I took a walk to the place you’re trying to destroy.” Skyler defended.

” Why are you so dumb ? You’re trying to bit the finger that fed you.” Jonah said.

” Honey calm down.” Edna said holding her husband.

” You’re proving too stubborn and I won’t hold it back. What type of daughter are you ? What ever thing you’re looking for I’m going to give it to you.” Jonah said walking away.

” What on earth is wrong with you ?” Edna asked.

” You’re wrong with me ? You’re trying to ruin my life. Stop making me do things I don’t wanna do. Father should let the south be. He’s trying to start a war he won’t be able to end. Why are you always supporting dad , just imagine someone did that to you how will you feel ? You need to talk to dad. What ever civilization you’re planning with your husband should end it’s not fair , I won’t watch him move people out of their lands.” Skyler sobbed.

” Skyler You’re pushing me to the edge.” Jonah yelled walking back to the scenario.

” You’re wicked dad.” Skyler said.

Jonah gave her slap , she hold her cheek and weep.

” Nonsense.” Jonah said and walked out.

” Skyler I’m sorry.” Edna said trying to hold Skyler.

She smack her mom’s hands and left for her bedroom.

The following day at Justin’s house. Skyler visited and she overheard a conversation between Bibi and Justin.

” You can’t dump me. I’m giving you a child and you won’t run away from your responsibilities.” Bibi said and sob.

” You can’t implicate me with that thing inside you. You’re a whore just look for the father and give it to him. I can’t recall sleeping with you without protection.”

” Are you being serious ? You got me pregnant , I thought you said you love me.”

” I can’t love a girl who’s sleeping with her bestie’s boyfriend and her bestie’s father.” Justin said and Skyler gasped.

” What !” Bibi exclaimed.

” You think I don’t know. You’re a dirty b***h , you don’t even think twice before making your dumb decisions. You’re screwed , go to Jonah he’s the father and you know that . Just get out of my house…”

Skyler sighed and sob gently , she walked out without being noticed. After few hours she went back to bibi’s house.

” Bibi ..” she called walking into her apartment.

Bibi was quiet, she was in a sober condition.

” Bibi how could you ?”

” What do you want here ?” Bibi asked.

” I can’t believe you’ve been sleeping with Justin , I thought we were friends , best friends.”

Bibi Chuckled deeply and refused to answer.

” How can I be so stupid ? I’m not even hurt because you slept with Justin , but I’m hurt because it has to come from you , Bibi I gave you a job you were my best friend since high school.”

” Oh shut up.” Bibi said standing up.

” Best friend indeed , so who said I was your best friend. Yeah I might be your best friend doesn’t mean you’re my best friend. Don’t even think about yelling In my house. I have every right to sleep with any man i want just deal with that imp.” Bibi fired.

” You will pay for this. You betrayed me and you betrayed my mom. You can’t even think twice , you even have to sleep with my father. Who does that ?”

” Oh my God.” Bibi said laughing.

” So who said he’s your father ?” Bibi asked.

Skyler was quiet for a while.

” Stop fooling yourself miss Skyler Roxcell , b***h you were adopted. Jonah’s not your biological father , you’re some imp they picked up from the orphanage , go f**k yourself.” Bibi yelled.

” That can’t be true.” Skyler sobbed.

Bibi mimicked and laughs.

” You’re screwed , you can confirm from your so called father d**k head.” Bibi said and walked out.

Skyler sob and hurried out.
