‘Ad…Ad…Ad….’

‘Adam’ he completed for her with a scornful expression on his face

‘What are you doing here? I thought we parted ways?’ She asked shakily. She couldn’t bare the thought of her new jealous freak husband seeing him here.

‘I simply want to see Sardonyx’ he said acidly

‘Why? I’ve told you before that she’s not your child, why can’t you understand that!’ She yelled upsettingly

‘The fact that you were sleeping with me during the period your husband was away seals the fact that I’m the father and I want my daughter to be far away from a whore like you. You’ll ruin her life’ he said angrily

‘How dare you walk into my premises and call me a whore’ she yelled with the same angry tone

‘Because that is what you are Mia Krieger’ he fired. ‘The last time I left because I really believed you but my mind have never been at rest, I have no peace of mind and I plan on fixing it today. If you insist she isn’t my daughter, I’ll take this issue to court and let them order a blood test and if you lied, you’ll pay for it. Remember who I am Mia in case you have forgotten’ he said venomously. Mia was shivering with fear, if the news get out, she will lose her marriage again

‘What is going on here?’ Idris’ voice echoed curiously. Adam turned and smiled, he easily remember him as the little boy who loved stealing his wallet to save it. ‘Adam?’ Idris asked shockingly when he recognized the face, he hadn’t changed a bit, just more mature

‘You still remember me?’ He asked surprised

‘I’ve been looking for you’

‘Why?’ Adam asked agitatedly

‘Concerning the fact that you are the biological father of my sister Sanny’ Mia gasped and cupped her mouth, if Idris knew then she’s doomed. Adam laughed dryly

‘Have you seen what your mother did to me? All I wanted was a woman to live and care for me, to stay with me till the end of my days with our children. I wanted a happy family with all my children in one place unlike my father but she lied to me and ruined that. How will I ever be able to father a child that will end up hating me, how are we suppose to tell her that the man she knew as her father wasn’t really who he was to her. It’s already bad enough that I was an instrument of adultery but to know what that adultery caused is worse’ he said painfully tears rolling down his cheeks. ‘I never wanted to end up like my father but here I am with a broken vow’ he sobbed sitting on the floor. Idris stared at him with pity. He knew Adam was a good man and would take good care of Sandy and all he needed was for him to tell her and she’ll accept

‘Don’t worry, we’ll help’

‘We?’ Mia asked quizzically

‘Yes. We’ he snarled. She nodded shakily. ‘Better don’t run away or I’ll find you and I swear by every strand of hair on my head that I’ll ki*ll you’ she nodded again. ‘We’ll see her in Italy tomorrow’

‘Tomorrow!’ She exclaimed but she knew she couldn’t object, Idris would ki*ll her on the spot.

#Sardonyx’ POV

A sweet couple morning I left the house to go do my hair. I decided I need a change of hairstyle because the one I had on have been there for twelve years. After feeding Joshua from his bottle, I put him back to sleep. He was sucking from a bottle while his dad sucked what rightfully belong to him.

I’m a sort of single mother now you know I wore a blue and yellow plaid skirt, a blue camisole and a blue zip up jacket. I borrowed Alice’s yellow bag and wore my yellow heels. I wore no single makeup as in no makeup

I felt the need to go natural

‘Hey couples, remember to check on your baby. I made breakfast, help yourself if you can’ I shouted from my room. I took her car to her salon, she owns one of the biggest salon in Italy

‘Miss Izzy’ the girl at the counter said happily. Jonah took me here and introduced me as Alice’s younger sister so the respect was there.

‘Bella’ I smiled. I’ve forgotten her name

‘Ella, Mirabella so my short form is Ella’ she said smilingly

‘I’m still right’ I said with relief. ‘You can be called Mira, Bella or Ella’

‘True. How’s madam and the baby?’

‘They are fine, in fact they will….she will begin work next week’

‘That’s a relief’

‘Why? Is everything alright in the salon?’

‘Yea, I just miss her that’s all’ she lied woefully

‘Come on what’s wr……’

‘What are you guys doing just standing here!’ A voice yelled harshly

‘We had no work to do’ I turned my head to the direction of the voice. A tall brunette stood there like a furious witch

‘Well go wash it again!’ She hollered

‘But…..’

‘No buts, get to work or you’re fired. I’m not paying you for nothing’

‘You are not the one paying our salaries Tammy so stop bossing everyone around. Yes madam put you in charge but that doesn’t mean you will treat everyone like trash, we have feelings you know’ a blondie said lowly

‘You are fired’ the brunette yelled. Everyone gasped

‘You can’t fire me, only ma’am can’ the blond girl said boldly. ‘Try it and I locate ma’am’s house’

‘And you think she can do anything? I can do whatever I want and no one can do anything about it’ she said confidently. I snorted

‘Is that so?’ I asked cheesily. She averted her glare to me

‘And who is this stupid thing? You are not involved so mind your business’ she said scornfully

‘Hey who know who I am?’ I shouted. The workers smiled joyfully

‘Mrs Sinclair’s younger sister’ they chorused. Her face went pallid

Having authority over others is quite interesting
