Rosie’s initial shock and anger melted away, replaced by a fluttering in her chest. She felt herself getting lost in the gentle pressure of Noah’s lips. Without realizing it, she kissed him back, her lips moving softly against his.

 

Noah smiled against her lips, and he deepened the kiss, his fingers tracing the curves of her face. Rosie’s heart raced, and she felt a shiver run down her spine. She couldn’t believe she was kissing him back, but she couldn’t help herself either.

 

As they pulled away, Noah grinned, his eyes gleaming with mischief.

 

“Should we try that again cos it seems you enjoyed it”

 

Rosie’s cheeks flushed and she looked away, trying to compose herself

 

“Noah, stop it! This isn’t a game,” she said, trying to sound firm but her voice was betraying her.

 

Noah chuckled, his eyes never leaving hers.

 

“Oh, I’m not playing games, Rosie. I’m dead serious. I want you, and I know you want me too.”

 

“Noah, we can’t do this. We can’t keep going back and forth like this.”

 

“Why not, Rosie? Why can’t we try again? I swear I love you,is it that hard for you to love me back?” He asked looking hurt

 

Rosie’s heart skipped a beat at the vulnerability in his voice.

 

“You still love Dean?”

 

“No!” Rosie quickly said

 

“Oh I didn’t expect that fast reply”

 

“I thought you moved on with Cara”

 

“Don’t mention that girl please,even if she’s the last girl on earth,I will never date her. There’s nothing going on between us and there will never be,you are the only girl I want in my life, noone else ”

 

Noah’s eyes widened in surprise as Rosie suddenly leaned in and kissed him, her lips soft and gentle. He couldn’t help but respond, his arms wrapping around her waist as he deepened the kiss.

 

“I love you too, Noah,” she said, her voice barely above a whisper.

 

“Wait you do?”

 

“I guess I didn’t realise that early enough,I was really devastated when I saw Cara almost naked that’s day at your house,I wasn’t myself also after I broke up with you,I really regretted it but I couldn’t do anything and because I was missing you,I decided to come visit you only to see that heartbreaking scene ” he quickly pulled her close and hugged her

 

“I’m so sorry ”

 

“No I should be the one to tell you that,I dated you so I could forget about Dean”

 

“But it worked in my favour,you love me now don’t you?” He asked and Rosie smiled on his shoulder

 

“I’m glad it did,I finally got over my crush over him since childhood ”

 

“So we start all over again?”

 

Rosie nodded, her smile still shining on his shoulder.

 

“Yes, we start all over again. But this time, let’s do it right.”

 

Noah’s arms tightened around her.

 

“I’ll love you with all my heart, and I’ll never let you go again because you are mine forever.”

 

Rosie’s heart skipped a beat at his words and she blushed. She knew she had made the right decision, and she couldn’t wait to see what the future held for them.

 

They finally pulled away from the hug .

 

“So, shall we start with a proper date? Dinner and a movie, maybe?”

 

“I’d love that, Noah and I can’t wait for that ”

 

Noah’s grinned from ear to ear.

 

“I feel so happy knowing you love me back,from the beginning when we first dated,I knew you didn’t really love me like that because of how you acted towards me,you won’t even let me kiss you but I was still determined to make it work out and maybe you will love me someday and I’m glad you finally did ”

 

“And I’m glad I finally love someone who loves me too, I’m sick and tired of a one sided love” she said and they smiled at each other.

 

Noah finally got her home and she got down after bading him goodbye,she went inside and she met Dean in the compound pacing back and forth while operating his phone

 

“Oh thank Goddess you are home now,I was just about calling you. I’ve been dialling your number for a while now but you didn’t pick making me so worried,what took you so long?”he came closer

 

“You called? I guess I didn’t hear my phone ring” she said bringing out her phone and behold on her screen was 5 missed calls from Dean

 

“Well it’s okay but what took you so long?”

 

“I didn’t see a cab to take me home but then I saw Noah and he offered to take me home ” she said and the expression on dean’s face changed

 

“Oh,so you were with Noah while I was home worried sick for you?”

 

“Don’t start tonight Dean,I’m going inside,I need to lay my head on something soft” she said and went to her apartment

 

Dean also went to his apartment with a confused look.

NEXT MORNING, QUIET ROAD~

 

Alicia and Emma came out of the car looking around carefully, Alicia actually got an anonymous message on her phone this morning requesting to see her at this exact spot claiming he/she knows where her unborn baby father is and so she decided to come with Emma

 

“Are you sure this isn’t a trap to kidnap us?” Emma asked looking uneasy already

 

“Calm down,we are here already”

 

They saw a black Mercedes Benz driving at full speed and suddenly it stopped in front of them, Emma and Alicia glanced at each other in horror, wondering if they should run or not

 

“Should we run?” Alicia whispered and just then the owner of the car came out revealing Donovan dressed in a casual wear and Alicia frowned at the strange familiarity

 

“OMG! It’s the man from the club !” Emma squealed reminding Alicia about the man before them

 

“Hello” he greeted looking only at Alicia

 

“Donovan right?”

 

“Yes,we meet again. What are you both doing here in this quiet and lonely road?”

 

“Actually we are waiting for someone but he/she is taking so long to show up” Emma replied

 

“Oh so you don’t even know the gender of the person you are gonna meet” he furrowed his brows

 

“It’s kinda complicated ,infact we are living now” Emma said

 

“Jack, come outside,” Donovan said, and Jack stepped out of the car, his eyes locking onto Emma’s as if magnetized.

 

Emma’s breath caught in her throat as she took in the chiseled features, piercing blue eyes, and chiseled jawline. She felt an instant jolt of attraction, her heart racing like never before.

 

“Hi,” Jack said and Emma’s world seemed to stop

 

She couldn’t speak, her voice frozen in her throat. All she could do was stare, her eyes drinking in the sight of this stranger who seemed to have captivated her soul.

 

“Emma, are you okay?” Alicia asked but Emma wasn’t paying attention

 

“Alicia I will like you to please follow me, I will love to know you more ” he said and she made to object when;

 

“Go with him,I and Jack will be fine,so enjoy yourself with Mr Donovan ” Emma said and Alicia looked at her in disbelief

 

“Okay fine” Alicia said and she entered the car with Donovan who drove off immediately leaving Emma with Jack

 

“Hey I’m Emma” she said jovially

 

“Jack” he simply said

 

“I know that already”

 

“Let’s get out of here, who’s driving?”

 

“I will” Emma quickly said and they got into the car before zooming off.

EMERALD COLLEGE CAMPUS ~

 

“What!?” Rosie and Dean screamed out in unison immediately Mariana told them about her pregnancy

 

“Why are you just telling us?” Rosie asked

 

“I’m so sorry,I guess I forgot”

 

“Well I’m happy for my bestie,I can’t wait to be a god mother”

 

“You are the second person saying this”

 

“Who’s the first?”

 

“Fernando’s friend, Isabella”

 

“Oh that lady,well tell her it’s not possible,I’m the god mother whether she likes it or not” Rosie said rolling her eyes and Mariana chuckled

 

“Then I will be the god father right?” Dean asked

 

“We don’t want you” Rosie quickly said and they laughed

 

Tessa,a fellow course mate of theirs suddenly approached them.

 

“Good morning guys” she greeted taking a seat beside Dean

 

“Not Tessa looking so gorgeous this morning,tell me what the secret is” Rosie teased

 

“Oh common, there’s no secret anywhere so stop teasing me. I heard we are going to be paired into groups soon for our upcoming project”

 

“I heard that too,I think it’s going to be tomorrow” Mariana said

 

“I hope I’m paired with someone reasonable this time because the last one was a disaster ” Tessa said

 

“Yeah I remember,your partner fucked you up” Dean said

 

“It was so annoying. Is no one feeling hungry?”

 

“I’m starving ” they are chorused , they glanced at each other and burst into a laugh

 

“Funny you guys”

LEAH’S PLACE~

 

Leah smiled satisfactorily as she sat on the couch with a lot of thought going on in her head

 

“Very… soon” she said, Liam emerged from the room carrying a plate of ice cream

 

“Mum,why are you smiling? Did dad finally agreed to come live with us?” He asked innocently

 

“Very soon dear,very… soon” she rubbed his back smiling

BACK AT EMERALD COLLEGE ~

 

Rosie came out of the restroom and she was quickly dragged into a corner,she made to scream but the person covered her mouth immediately

 

“Don’t scream” came Evelyn’s voice and Rosie eyes widened

 

“I knew you have been looking for answers about your true identity,don’t worry I’m here to tell you everything ”

 

“What do you know?” Rosie asked as Evelyn released her

 

“A lot because you are Annabelle and you are my daughter ”
