“Okay let me confirm with this”he said and he kissed her unexpectedly making Rosie to froze instantly,she never expected this at all,he was still kissing her while she remained numb but when she came back to her senses,she pushed him away

 

“Why the hell did you kiss me? Have you gone nuts!?”she yelled at him and Dean only smiled

 

“You enjoyed it yes or no?”he asked and Rosie kept quiet

 

“No I didn’t”she quickly said

 

“I kissed you for 1 minutes straight before you pushed me away”

 

“Because you caught me off guard,I never expected that!”she clarified

 

“That didn’t change the fact that you enjoyed it right?” He smirked

 

“Dean what’s wrong with you? Aren’t you supposed to be happy that I’m finally moving on from you, why are you doing this? why!?”she yelled unto of her voice

 

“I miss my best friend! I can never be used to you dating Noah,I just realized that. We haven’t been hanging out much since you started dating and it hurts like hell!”

 

“So what do you want me to do?”

 

“Break up with him already,i want to be the only one that you love,your heart beats for only me Rosie and you know that so stop wasting your time with that Noah”he said

 

“I don’t even understand you anymore Dean,why are you so selfish?”

 

“If you can’t reciprocate my love then leave me alone! And besides Noah is a nice guy who loves me very much,I may not love him as much as he does but I will try my best to love him back”she said and walked into her house and Dean rolled his eyes

 

He also went back to his house and he brought out his phone to glare at Mariana’s pic on his phone screen,a picture they took together

 

“Too bad I lost you to Fernando,just too bad”he muttered

 

He swiped to the next picture and he came across Rosie’s picture

 

“I won’t lose you to Noah,it’s me or no one else”he said with a serious face

NEXT DAY~

Rosie came out of her apartment at the same time with Dean, she made to walk away without talking to him but he quickly approached her

 

“Good morning bestie”he grinned

 

“Dean leave me alone, I’m still mad at you”

 

“Okay I’m sorry,I only kissed you to confirm if you still love me and I’m glad you still do”

 

“How can you just come into a conclusion just like that,did I kiss you back?”

 

“You don’t have to kiss me back before I figure it out myself, besides you didn’t push me away for straight 1 minutes”he said

 

“I was caught off guard for crying out loud!”she half yelled and he chuckled

 

“Don’t stress yourself Rosie and stop forcing yourself to love someone you can never love, remember I’m your first love”he winked at her and left

 

“f**k you Dean!”she hissed and left too

FERNANDO’S MANSION~

The door to the room opened revealing Fernando as he entered already dressed for work holding a tray containing breakfast

 

He dropped it on the bedstand and he looked at his sleeping wife

 

“Does she knows it’s morning already?”he chuckled before planting a kiss on her forehead and she stirred in her sleep

 

He continued to stare at her lovingly till Mariana woke up and he smiled

 

“Morning beautiful”he greeted

 

“Morning handsome”she said lowly while stretching out a smile

 

“So how was your night?”

 

“Perfect!”she squealed

 

“I love the sound of that,so I was thinking”

 

“About?”

 

“Why don’t you move to my room instead,we are married couples and we should sleep together”

 

“Of course! So I should move my things to your room today?”she asked excitedly

 

“Yes but let the maids take care of that,don’t stress yourself”he said and she smiled

 

“Sure”

 

“What time are you supposed to leave for lecture this morning”

 

“My first lecture is starting 10, why did you ask?”

 

“Do you know what the time says now?”

 

“Please don’t tell me it’s 10 already”

 

“This is just 30 minutes pass 7 so chill,I would have stayed longer with you but I have a board meeting to attend to so don’t miss me too much okay? I brought you breakfast though”he pointed at the tray on the bedstand

 

“What kind of breakfast is it?”

 

“Bread and toast, I made it specially for my woman”he said and she couldn’t help but blush

 

“How romantic,you deserve a good f**k tonight for this”she whispered into his ear and he grinned

 

“My wife is getting naughtier but I love it,or should we do it now?”he asked and just then his phone started ringing

 

“That must be from the office,I’m late already”

 

“Go quick baby, I will make sure to treat you well when you come back”she said and he kissed her goodbye before running off in a haste

EMERALD COLLEGE CAMPUS~

Mariana arrived at college 30 minutes and is seen with Rosie up at the school rooftop as they read their books since they might have an impromptu test

 

“Mariana I don’t understand Dean anymore”she suddenly voiced out and Mariana looked at her

 

“Same here, he’s acting strange these days”she confirmed

 

“Let me hint you on what’s going on,do you know Dean has liked you right from high school?”Rosie asked

 

“He did?”

 

“I’m telling you but he has always been shy to tell you because he fears that you might reject him,he told me about his feelings for you then and I was really sad because I liked him”

 

“Woah you liked Dean and I’m just knowing this? What’s wrong with the both of you ? I thought best friends don’t keep secrets from each other”

 

“I know and I’m sorry”

 

“I think I’m getting it now,wait don’t tell me you are dating Noah just go get over your crush on Dean”

 

“Actually I won’t lie to you,that was my first intention but then I’m now seeing Noah in a different light, he’s a really cool and nice guy and I’m hoping to reciprocate his love for me,I swear I’m trying to”

 

“But it’s not working right?”Mariana asked

 

“It’s working trust me but it’s just that my feelings for Dean is still there”

 

“It can’t just die that easily, he’s your first love right?”Rosie nodded

 

“I have another problem again, Dean kissed me yesterday just to confirm if I still love him or not now I’m feeling so guilty to even face Noah”

 

“He kissed you?”

 

“Yes, he said my heart belongs to him only and I should quit playing with Noah’s heart”

 

“It’s the nerves for me, Dean isn’t someone like this”

Cara came out of her hiding and she smiled maliciously before leaving

“Darling please don’t leave”Mr Lincoln pleaded as he watched his wife pack her things ready to move out

 

“Leave me the hell alone Francis, you’ve done me so much harm already and I can’t bear to stay any longer”

 

“I know I fucked up but still forgive me”

 

“I will be a fool if I should stay with you after everything I’ve learnt, you’ve been lying to me all these years!”she yelled

 

“Give me the chance to right my wrongs please”

 

“What wrong do you want to right again, nothing can be done Francis, absolutely nothing!”

 

“Susan please I love you”

 

“The lies I’ve been hearing you tell me since all these years, I bet you tell Evelyn this too”

 

“I fell in love with you for real I swear,since you gave birth to Fernando”

 

“Then why did you keep your relationship with her if you love me”she asked and he went silent

 

“Nothing reasonable to say I get, excuse me”she pushed him off her way and she suddenly turned

 

“And don’t worry no body will think I moved out of your house just to avoid scandal,I’m going to Paris to clear my head coz I really need it”she said and left

Fernando’s friends stormed into his office and they met him working on his

“Look at our Fernando looking so serious”Isabella commented sitting before him

 

“What brings you guys here?”he asked as he closed his system

 

“What a funny question,so we can’t come and greet our friend again?”Emerson asked

 

“Hey come on its not like that”

 

“So how has things being so far”Matt asked this time around

 

“I think I need to tell you guys something”

 

“Okay what’s that?”Isabella asked curiously

 

“I’m sure you all remember Leah right?”

 

“That hot chick back at college,I still hate the fact that I didn’t have my way with her”Emerson said and that earned him a knock on his head

 

“Do you realize I’m here”Isabella rolled her eyes

“She’s back claiming I’m the father of her 7 years old son”

“We need a DNA test to confirm if she’s saying the truth or not”Emerson said

 

“That’s what we agreed on,infact I’m heading to the hospital now to check out the results,can you guys tag along with me?”

 

“Sure!”they chorused

MIRACLES HOSPITAL

Fernando and his friends arrived at the hospital and the first person they first met was Leah coming out of the doctor’s office

 

“Oh you are just in time”she chuckled as she stretched out the results to him to go through

 

“Still looks bitchy as always”Isabella commented as she eyed her

 

Fernando collected the results from her with a trembling hand as he went through it and his eyes widened when he saw the word POSITIVE!

 

“Papa!”he heard Liam’s voice from behind as he ran to come and hug him

 

“Tell me I’m dreaming”Fernando said as Liam hugged his legs in excitement.
