“That’s my name baby”she removed the shades and winked at him.

 

“Happy birthday lil sis”she said turning to look at Mariana with everyone eyes still on her

 

“Alicia! Is this really you?” Mrs Gilbert asked as she came closer to her and she chuckled

 

“Come on mum, of course it’s me. Why is everyone looking at me as if I’m a ghost?”she asked

 

“Because you no longer exist to us anymore,since you ran away on the wedding day you became dead to us” Isabella said and Alicia scoffed

 

“Why are you here Alicia?”Mrs Lincoln asked

 

“Mother in law,you too? So no one is happy I’m back,wow” Alicia wore a pity face

 

“Of course we are happy to see you”her mother said with wide smiles

 

“Please speak for you” Mr Gilbert said

 

“Anyways I’m not gonna spend a long time here,I only came to give Mariana a birthday present” she winked at her and Mariana forced a smile,a lot is really going on in her mind right now,what if Alicia wants Fernando back and Fernando has been staring at her since she came in

 

“Or Mariana you are also not happy to see me?” She asked with a puppy look

 

“Of course I do” Mariana said

 

“Of course I know you do, Emma you can bring it in now”she said and then Emma came in with a box wrapped with ribbons

 

“Here”Emma handed it to her and Alicia walked over to Mariana before stretching the box to her

 

“Happy birthday lil Sis”she said smiling and Mariana collected it from her

 

“Thanks for the gift”she said and Alicia hugged her before she turned to Fernando with a smirk

 

“How did you find this location?”he asked immediately and she smiled

 

“Let’s say I’ve been stalking you, dear fiance”

 

“Don’t call me that”he warned and she chuckled

 

She suddenly leaned towards him and she whispered something into his ear making Fernando eyes to widen immediately

 

“See you again”she winked at him before walking out of the hall with Emma

 

“What did she tell you?”Mariana immediately asked him

 

“Oh it’s nothing”he said

 

“Let’s continue with the celebration please”Matt urged and everyone agreed, the fun continued but everybody mind was in Alicia’s return especially Mariana

“I wonder why that b***h had to come back now”Isabella hissed,she was sitting in between Matt and Emerson

 

“I hope she’s not planning anything bad”Emerson said

 

“Still wondering what she told Fernando in his ear,his expression changed afterwards”Matt said thoughtfully

 

“I noticed that, making me more damn curious. I hope it’s not something bad cos I don’t know what that lady got under her sleeves”Isabella said

Mariana came out of the hall with an heavy heart, Fernando just left now saying he needs to attend to something and will be back soon

 

She’s feeling so scared right now,is Alicia return a good one or something she won’t like this like all but her behaviour earlier to him looks like she wants him back, first she called him baby and then referred him as her fiance

 

“Stop thinking too much about it”Rosie said from behind her and she turned to see her and Dean

 

“I’m just scared that’s all,I love Fernando now and I can’t afford to lose him,I don’t know Alicia’s motive” she said sadly

 

“You like worrying too much, I’m sure Fernando is done with her already.”Dean said

 

“You think so,did you see how he was staring at her when she came in?”

 

“It was a look of shock , nothing else”Rosie said

 

“Today is your birthday, don’t let that ruin your mood”

 

“Do you think I still get a chance with Fernando, he might decide to reconsider since I’m way younger than him and my sister suites his taste”

 

“Stop thinking too much Mariana, stop”

 

“I love him,I really do”a tear dropped from her eye and Rosie embraced her into a comforting hug

 

“Fernando is only for you, okay?”Rosie assured

 

“Can we go back in now,we need to cut the cake”Dean said

 

“Not without Fernando, I’m waiting for him”she said and just then a black limo car pulled up before them and a man in suit came out of it

 

“Please get into the car right now”the man said and the three friends glanced at each other

 

“Your husband sent me to get you”he added

 

“Oh, so you are taking me to where he is?”she asked and the man nodded

 

“Alright let’s go”she said

 

“Have fun and don’t forget to tell us what happened in details”Rosie said

 

“I will”she said as the man opened the car door for her and she went in

ELITE RESTAURANT~

 

The black limo car pulled up in front of a fancy restaurant

 

“Here we are ma’am”the man said and Mariana nodded before stepping out of the car and the man followed

 

“I will lead you to him”he offered

 

Mariana’s nerves were humming with anticipation as she entered into the restaurant, her heels clicking on the polished marble floor

 

The air was heavy with the scent of rich spices, and the low murmur of conversation created a cozy atmosphere in the place

 

“This way, ma’am” the man said, ushering her to a private booth located in the corner

 

Mariana’s heart skipped a beat when she spotted Fernando, standing next to the table, dressed in a sharp suit and holding a single, long-stemmed rose,he changed his outfits already

 

Fernando’s face lit up with a smile as he extended the rose towards Mariana, his eyes fixed on her with adoration

 

“Happy birthday, wifey” he said, his voice filled with warmth

 

Mariana’s heart swelled with emotion as she took the rose, pressing her nose against the velvety petals

 

“Thank you, Fernando” she said, her voice hushed and breathless. “I can’t believe you planned all this.”

 

Fernando led her to the booth, pulling out a chair for her and seating her gently

 

Fernando ordered a bottle of champagne for the table, and when the server arrived with it, he clicked the glasses together and held his out to Mariana with a twinkle in his eye.

 

“A toast,” he started, “to the most beautiful woman in the world, on her special day.” Mariana’s cheeks flushed as she raised her glass, and they clinked them together before taking a sip of the sparkling, golden liquid.

 

As they settled into the meal, Mariana couldn’t help but marvel at Fernando’s thoughtfulness.

 

“Fernando, you really surprised me” Mariana said, her heart full of affection for this man who had made her feel so special, the thought that he’s her husband make her even more happier “This restaurant, the limo, the champagne…it’s all so wonderful” she said and ended it with a smile

 

Fernando’s face softened as he reached across the table to take Mariana’s hand in his. “You deserve it, Mariana. You deserve all of this, and so much more. I just want to appreciate you for everything you have done for me,you are like the angel sent to me and you mean so much to me” he said emotively and Mariana couldn’t help but blush but then she remembered something

 

“What did Alicia…”he interrupted her by planting a kiss on her lips

 

“Don’t talk about her please,this night is about you only so don’t ruin this beautiful moments” he said and she could only nod

 

“Mariana, I have one more surprise for you tonight,” he said, his eyes twinkling with excitement

 

“I want to show you something outside.”

 

Curious and intrigued, Mariana rose from the table and followed Fernando through the restaurant, her heart racing with anticipation.

 

Finally they stepped out into the cool night air, Fernando’s hand found Mariana’s once more, guiding her gently along the pavement

 

“Close your eyes” he said into her ears

 

Mariana complied, feeling Fernando’s hand tighten around hers as he led her around the corner

 

A gentle breeze rustled her hair, and the faint sounds of city traffic filtered through the night

 

“Okay, you can open your eyes now” Fernando said, his voice full of anticipation

 

The moment Mariana opened her eyes, she was stunned by the gleaming, silver Mercedes Benz S-Class parked in front of her screaming new and expensive!

 

Fernando stood beside her with smiles “Happy birthday once again wifey” he whispered, his voice laced with affection.

 

“I don’t even know how to express myself anymore”Mariana said with as her palms flew to her mouth

 

“It’s okay and you deserve even more,I have more think to say to you”he said

 

“I think I’m falling for you or should I say I’ve fallen head over heels for you”he said and Mariana looked at him in shock

 

Fernando reached out and gently took her hand in his. “I’m serious, Mariana. You’ve become the light of my life”

 

Mariana leaned in, meeting Fernando halfway, and their lips touched slowly “I love you too” Mariana whispered and in that moment, everything else seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of them, entwined in each other’s arms, heartbeats matching rhythm.

 

As they pulled apart, Mariana rested her head against Fernando’s shoulder, letting out a contented sigh. “I never want this night to end,” she murmured.

 

Fernando smiled, his eyes sparkling with joy

 

“Me too”

FERNANDO’S MANSION~

 

Mariana and Fernando stepped into the house, their hands still intertwined as they discussed their unforgettable evening. But as they entered the living room, Mariana’s smile faded as she spotted a woman and a young boy sitting on the sofa comfortably

 

“Fernando…who are they or rather who are you?” Mariana whispered, her eyes wide.

 

Fernando’s expression turned to one of shock and the lady smirked

 

“I’m Leah and this is Liam,I and Fernando’s son”she said with a smile and Mariana breath seized

 

“You said what?”

 

“Leah what are you saying and why the hell are you here?”he almost yelled

 

“Remember the pregnancy you told me to abort 7 years ago,sorry to say this but I didn’t and the product is Liam who is here with me”Leah said pointing at the cute young boy beside her and Fernando’s eyes widened

 

“Tell me this is just a prank, Fernando is this another surprise of yours again”Mariana asked holding her breath but he remained silent still in shock

 

“Is it true she was pregnant for you?”

 

“Yes but…”before he could finish his statement, Mariana fainted.
