She was frozen in place, caught in the moment when he held her waists. And then, his lips were on hers, and all thoughts vanished. All she could feel was the electricity jolting through her body, the fire burning in her heart. It was as if nothing else existed, nothing but this moment, this kiss.

 

Fernando grabbed her a$$ cheek and Mariana gasped and that gave him the opportunity to shove his tongue in as they began kissing in sync and intensely, Mariana’s heart couldn’t stop beating,she just wants to be in his arms forever and nothing else,this is definitely a moment she will never forget until she die infact she will continue to remember this even in her grave

 

Fernando stopped the kiss abruptly and their lips made a pop sound.

 

“That’s how it should be”he said smiling and she also smiled

 

“Umm…so can I kiss you anytime I want now?” She asked nervously looking everywhere but him she he chuckled

 

“Yes you can little wife,I’m your husband after all”he said and she smiled before hugging him tightly

 

“Be nice to me from now on okay? I don’t like it when you are cold to me”he said resting her head on his chest hearing his heartbeat from there

 

“As you wish wifey”he said and she chuckled

 

“And…and promise me you won’t leave me when Alicia comes back”she asked almost inaudibly but there was silence and she suddenly regretted saying that

 

“I promise.” He said and Mariana smiles returned to her face

 

“I’m glad to hear that” she loosened her hold on him

 

“Wait do you really think I like Alicia?”he asked out of the blue

 

“I…I don’t know” she played with her fingers

 

“The thing is that ,my parents were really on my neck telling me to get married and become responsible for once,my dad also threatened me with the company that he won’t hand it over to him until I marry someone and when I saw Alicia at a hotel where I came for a meeting,I decided to marry her, not because I love her but because I wanted to satisfy my parents. When I received that letter from her on our wedding day,it didn’t really hurt me but I was angry that she had to leave at such hour”he gritted his teeth

 

“So who brought the suggestion that I should replace Alicia?”she furrowed her brows

 

“I did”he said and her eyes widened

 

“You were the one?”

 

“Yeah my parents were desperately looking for someone to replace her fast but no luck and then I remembered that Alicia has a sister which is you ,I told them and they agreed immediately because you were our only option”he said

 

“You know that day was the worse day of my life”

 

“I know,I shouldn’t have been harsh on you in the first place when it’s clearly not your fault. Thanks for agreeing to marry me”he said and she smiled

 

“You are welcome husbby”she said and they chuckled

 

“I will like to tell you something”he suddenly said looking gloomy

 

“What’s that?”

 

“Not now, maybe later”

 

“Okay then, hope it’s not something serious?”

 

“I don’t know. Well you should sleep now”he said

 

“Okay goodnight”

 

“Night”he kissed her forehead before exiting the room

Carl in through the door and he made his way to Evelyn’s room,he has been out all day and is just coming back.

 

He opened the door and he met his mum sleeping already already when he turned on the lights

 

“I guess I will tell her about it tomorrow”he said and closed the door meeting Fernando on the way

 

“Fernando! Haven’t seen you all day since I came back”he said

 

“It’s not my fault I didn’t meet you home”

 

“I really missed you bro”he hanged his arms around his shoulders and Fernando removed it

 

“We aren’t that close remember? You are just my employee’s son and I’m only allowing you to live here because of Evelyn”he said and Carl rolled his eyes secretly

 

“Yeah right”

 

“And sorry about Colton”

 

“Forget about my twin,he’s dead now. How’s the company faring?”

 

“Why asking me that?”

 

“I just want to know, nothing serious”

 

“For your information,it’s going pretty well”he said and walked away making Carl scoffed

 

“Gosh that really fucked up,how can he make my junior brother the heir to the company, what a cheat!”he hissed and left too

GRAYSON’S MANSION*

Blondie got home and she cursed underneath her breath when she met her step brother, Logan with his girlfriend, Caterina kissing on the couch

 

“f**k it! I thought she left already”she rolled her eyes and passed their side like she didn’t see them

 

“Where are you coming from?”Logan’s question made her stop on her track and she turned back,they stopped kissing already and the girl is adjusting her v top so her cleavage will be more visible

 

“From the ice cream shop, any problem?” She asked

 

“You didn’t tell me that before you left,next time when you are going out,inform me okay? I was worried”he said and Blondie could feel her inside tingling with joy

 

“Um… okay. Isn’t she going home yet?”she asked referring to Caterina

 

“She’s staying overnight”Logan said

 

“What?”

 

“Is there a problem Blondie? I know you don’t like me and trust me, I don’t too” Caterina said

 

“Are you homeless? Go to your house b***h!”

 

“Blondie I won’t tolerate you calling my girlfriend that”he warned

 

“She’s a b***h,I said what I said”she said and she stormed to her room angrily and slammed the door breathing hard

 

“f**k! Why can’t I ki*ll this feelings I have for you?” She rest her back on the door

 

“Is it because he’s handsome? Out of all the people to fall for ,it had to be my step brother, really Blondie?”she ran her hands through her hair frustratingly

 

Her phone suddenly buzzed,it was a message from her friend and they seems to remind her of something. She decided to message Dean, they actually shared contacts earlier

 

💬 BLONDIE: hey

 

She sent and waited for his reply but he never did.

NEXT DAY, ROSIE’S APARTMENT

Rosie came out of her house holding a bag and dressed in a red gown,it looked like she’s heading some where

 

She quickly put on her shades since her eyes is puffy and there are bags under her eyes, She actually cried all night

 

Dean came out of his house too and they both stopped to stare at each other,things are really awkward between them rn

 

“Morning Dean”Rosie greeted in a crooked voice,she doesn’t want things to be awkward between them

 

“Hey Rosie”

 

“Hmm did you sleep well?”she asked not knowing what to say

 

“Yeah…”

 

“Okay that’s good”she said almost breathlessly and she turned to leave

 

“Rosie”

 

“See Dean forget about last night and the bullshit I told you, infact wipe it from your memory. I will grow to love my boyfriend back , let’s just be how we were before”she said

 

“I can’t just forget that”

 

“Find a way to”she said

 

“And where are you going?”

 

“I need to visit my parents,it’s been a long time”she said and finally left.

 

“My two best friends are mad at me,wow just wow!”he sighed and turned back inside

A RESTAURANT*

Matt came in and the first thing he sighted was a blonde girl sitting at a table in the corner,she really looked beautiful that he couldn’t look away

 

He made to approach her when Emerson’s call came through and he groaned

 

“What again?”he asked immediately he picked the call

 

“Where the f**k are you!?” He yelled from the other end

 

“Hey calm down and don’t burst my eardrums, anyway I’m at a restaurant”he said

 

“No wonder, I’m at your house now mother******! Head here right now”

 

“Is that a command?”

 

“Anyhow you wanna put it ,I don’t care. Fernando will be joining soon”

 

“Okay,I’m on my way”he said and ended the call,he took a last look at the blonde girl before leaving

DONOVAN’S MANSION*

Fernando drove into the building and he came down slowly,he was on his way to Matt’s house when he got a message from someone who introduced himself as Donovan and here he is

 

He wouldn’t have come but he needs to sort things out with him once and for all

 

Jack came out and he ushered inside where Donovan is sitting on the couch with crossed legs

 

“We meet again Fernando”Donovan said grinning

 

“Why did you tell me to come?”

 

“Because I want to have a talk with my bully”he said and Fernando sighed

 

“Jack excuse us”Donovan said and he left

 

“See Donovan I was ignorant then”

 

“Of course you will defend your self. Was it my fault that I came from a poor family? You and your stupid friends bullied me back then! You made me go through hell in high school but don’t worry I will forgive you for that because no one can’t bully me anymore, I’m fuckin rich now! Hahahaha”he laughed and his expression suddenly turned serious

 

“But what I will never forgive you for was what you did to my sister!”Donovan yelled pointing at the picture frame on the wall and Fernando swallowed nothing as guilt eat him up

 

FLASHBACK

 

NINE YEARS AGO AT HIDDENHILL HIGH SCHOOL,PROM NIGHT*

 

It was the finalists prom night and everyone was looking so beautiful in their respective outfits

 

Fernando came in looking ravishing in his expensive black suit and eyes turned on him,why won’t they stare at the school hottest guy? He’s the school bad boy and he’s always in the company of his two friends, Daniel and Dave

 

🗣️”Fernando is looking so hot right now”

 

🗣️”Just barely looking at him, I’m wet already”

 

🗣️”Where’s his date?”

 

🗣️”I will gladly volunteer to be his date if he doesn’t have any”

 

“Wtf is that dude doing here?”Daniel said pointing at Donovan who is sitting at a corner but Fernando eyes were somewhere else

 

“I don’t think she’s coming”David said getting who he’s looking for

 

“She better comes”he said and he made his way to Donovan who began trembling when he saw him

 

“She’s… she’s coming”he answered quickly since he knows who Fernando wants to ask from him,his twin sister Grace

 

“You aren’t fit to be at this party,go home”Fernando said and Donovan didn’t have to think twice as he stood up immediately and just then Grace walked in through the door wearing a black floor length dress she obviously borrowed,a little makeup on her face too and Fernando smiled broadly

 

“You can stay, I’m suddenly in a good mood”he said and he went to meet Grace

 

“You are looking beautiful tonight,well you have always been”he said as he grabbed her a$$ and what followed was a hot slap from Grace.

 

Everyone gasped,even the music stopped as attention turned on the two, Fernando was still in shock

 

“Don’t ever try that in your miserable life again!”she pushed him away and he landed on his butt

 

🗣️”How dare she!?”

Fernando was unto the third bottle when Daniel stopped him from drinking more

 

“That’s enough,you are drunk already”he said

 

“She dare slap me”he said drunkenly

 

“She must be really high for her to do that” Dave said

 

“Maybe we should teach her a lesson she will never forget”Daniel said

 

“What’s the plan?”David asked

 

“Come closer”he said and he whispered something to their ears and Fernando smiled sinisterly

 

“I’m in”

Fernando and his friends followed Grace quietly as she made her way to the toilet and immediately she came back outside Daniel grabbed her from the back and when she made to shout, he placed his palms on her mouth so it came out muffled,Dave was at the door watching if anyone was coming

 

Grace kept struggling to release herself but she couldn’t since he was too strong and just then Fernando came out looking so drunk

 

“Hello pretty”he said and brought out a paralysing injection and he used it to inject her , Grace couldn’t move her body again and Daniel dropped her on the floor so Fernando could have his way

 

“Be quick”Dave said from the door

 

“Finally I will have my way with you”he began unbuckling his belt and then he brought out his d**k ,he dragged up her down and slid down her pantie before thrusting his thing into her…

 

END OF FLASHBACK

 

“I’m sorry”Fernando said

 

“Will sorry bring her back? You raped my sister and she became pregnant without me even knowing until I saw her in her room wriggling in pain,she took abortion pills and died and it was because of you!”

 

“I reported you to the cops but your family used their influence to silent the case just because we were poor!” He vented angrily

 

“I know sorry won’t bring her back but please forgive me” he said looking almost at the brink of tears

 

“Never! Over my dead person,even Grace won’t like that”

 

“Donovan don’t worry,my past is back to haunt me, karma has catch up with me because I’m dying soon,I’m in my last stage of liver cancer already”Fernando said sniffing a tear

 

“You are pulling my legs right?”

 

“I’m dead serious!”Fernando yelled as blood dripped out from his nose.
