{Reunited Again}

Tears couldn’t stop falling from Michael’s eyes when Nathaniel finished telling him everything that Natalia told him.

“Mom.. She,,she really did that. My suspicion were right then.. She-” Michael bent down his face as tears kept falling from his eyes.

Nathaniel held his hand.

“I’m sorry,, guess she didn’t love me” Nathaniel said sadly.

“Though I took her as my real mother, but she has to pay for what she did. She almost kílled you! And she wasn’t even remorseful!!” Michael said loudly in anger.

“I know.. But we have to find the reason why she tried to kíll me” Nathaniel said.

“Don’t worry about that.. Just leave it to me.” Michael said, cleaning her tears.

He looked at Nathaniel then smiled before he ruffled his hair.

“You really like playing with people’s heart don’t you.. Idíot” Michael said.

Nathaniel chuckled.

“I’m sorry” He said.

“Come here kiddo” Michael spread his arm and Nathaniel hugged him.

“I really missed you punk” Michael said and kissed his hair.

“Hey! Don’t kiss my hair dummy, I’m not g@y like you” Nathaniel said and Michael hit his tummy.

“Ouch.. Are you trying to kíll me for real!!” Nathaniel winced, holding his bandaged tummy.

“Yeah,, maybe with that I’ll finally get rid of you” Michael smirked.

“Says the dude who literally fainted for two minutes when I opened the door” Nathaniel said sarcastically and they laughed.

“How’s Arianna” Nathaniel asked

Michael sighed.

“As expected she’s not fine at all. She skips classes and always keep this arrogant look on her face, I think she’s slowly turning back to her old self” Michael said.

“I knew it..” Nathaniel sighed.

“But the person you should worry more about is your mother,, I mean our mother.. Dàmn this sh*t is confusing” Michael pinched his brows.

“What about her?”

“Well, she refuses to see anyone. For a full week she has been in her house. I once went to see her but she didn’t open,, I fear she might harm herself at this rate” Michael said.

Nathaniel immediately stood.

“I need to see her” Nathaniel immediately stood.

“Calm down bro,, you’re still healing. Look at all the bandages on your body. Besides, the whole world thinks you’re déad.. Let’s not spoil the plan” Michael said.

“I’ll check up on her if that’ll assure you” Michael said.

Nathaniel sighed and sat back down.

“So you said Rose’s sister was the one who almost kílled you but she ended up saving you” Michael asked and Nathaniel nodded.

“I think Rose is really feeling guilty about it.. Please don’t hàte her, it’s not her fault besides if all this didn’t happen, we wouldn’t have find out who Noelle was” Nathaniel said.

“Can I see her?”

“Sure,, there’s her room.” Nathaniel pointed at a door.

Michael stood and left for the door. Nathaniel laid down on the couch and held his necklace then kissed it.

“Baby..”

Michael knocked on the door but got no reply. He knocked again still no reply..

“Rose?” He called, opening the door.

That’s when he saw her laying on the floor. Panicked, he rushed to her and relief washed through him when he realized she was just sleeping.

Traces of tears could still be seen on her cheek.

“Was she crying?” Michael thought

He carried her in a bridal style before laying her on the bed before covering her body with the sheet.

He smiled as he patted her hair

“Thanks for saving my brother.. I love you” He muttered and kissed her lips before standing.

He looked at her one last time before leaving her room.

MORNING, THE BRAUNS MANSION**

Arianna woke up to a bright morning but to her there was nothing bright about the morning. She got down the bed and went straight to her bathroom.

If not for the fact that they’ll be writing their final exam in four weeks (one month) from now then she wouldn’t even bother to go to school.

She finished brushing before she went under the shower and took a quick bath before exiting the bathroom.

“Meow!!” Twinkle walked to her and began brushing it’s fur on her leg.

She smiled dryly before carrying it, placing it on the bed.

“Where’s Candy?” She asked as she brought out her school uniform to wear.

She finished dressing up before brushing her hair before turning to see Candy playing with Twinkle.

“I’ll be going to school guys.. Bye!!” She said and left her room.

She got to the dining room and met her parents chatting while eating.

“Anna, you’re awake” Reuben smiled.

“Good morning dad” Arianna smiled and she faced Beatrice.

“Mom, I’m sorry for shouting at you.. I didn’t mean to” She said.

Beatrice smiled.

“You seem to be in the good mood today” Beatrice said and Arianna nodded before sitting.

“Is it because I dreamt of Nathaniel this night? Must surely be it” She said before sitting down to eat.

Once she was through, she walked out and entered the car. Her driver immediately drove off for school.

The drive was still smooth when suddenly the car abruptly stopped.

“What’s happening?” Arianna looked up.

“I don’t know, I think something burst the tyres” The driver said.

The driver made to to open the door of his car but someone beats him to it.

“Hey who are-” The masked person hit his neck and be passed out.

“What’s happening..” Arianna began panicking when the same person opened the door to the passenger’s seat

“Come with me..” The voice said and Arianna immediately shifted away in fear.

She made to scream when the person blocked her mouth and before she could do anything else, she passed out.

LATER**

Arianna opened her eyes to see she was in a strange car. She jolted when she realized she was kidnapped.

“The sleeping beauty finally wakes up” Natalia said, looking at her.

She was the one that kidnapped Arianna.

“What.. What do you want from me?” Arianna stuttered at the verge of tears.

“I don’t but someone will.. Let’s go” Natalia said.

Arianna shook her head in fear, finally letting her tears out.

Natalia groaned.

“Even Rose is not this stubborn” Natalia muttered and pulled her out of the car.

“No.. Let me go!! Help!! Help!!” She kept screaming, struggling with Natalia.

Natalia pulled her in the house..

“What’s happening?” Nathaniel literally ran out of the kitchen.

He froze when he saw it was Arianna. Arianna too wasn’t left out, she froze when she saw him.

“I’ll leave you two now.. You have just 40 minutes, need to take her back before the driver wakes up” Natalia said and gave them some privacy.

They both got glued on their spot with both of them staring at each other. If not for the necklace round his neck, Arianna could have thought he was Michael.

With shaky feet, she took slow strides towards him till she stopped in front of him, staring at him straight in the the eye.

She brought her hand up and it met with his cheek. Her eyes widened,, so it wasn’t one of her hallucination.

“Baby..” Nathaniel smiled.

“B.. Bunny? Is that you?” Arianna said, her lips trembling as she fought back her tears.

Tears escaped from Nathaniel’s eyes too as he nodded with a broad smile on his lips.

Arianna trailed her fingers from his cheek to his shoulder and chest, making sure he was really standing in front of him.

“Bunny!!” She wasted no time in hugging him as she broke down in tears..

Nathaniel hugged her back too, burying his face on her shoulder.

She knew it, she could just feel him in his heart! All along, she couldn’t believe that he could leave her and everyone else like that. He promised he’ll stay with her forever…

Words can’t explain how happy she felt at this moment, it was as if a part of her which díed was slowly coming back to life.

They broke the hug and Nathaniel cupped her cheek, cleaning her tears with his thumb as he sniffed.

“I’m sorry,, sorry I made you cry again.. This time I’m not leaving you again, no never” Nathaniel said.

Arianna smiled and nodded.

“All that matters is that you’re really alive” Arianna said.

She stood on her toes and immediately pressed her lips on his. Nathaniel’s eyes automatically shut down and he held her waist, pulling her closer as he savored her lips tenderly.

She dipped her hands into his messy hair, raking it as she deepened the kiss.

He lifted her up and placed her on the table with him in between. They broke the kiss to catch their breath.

“I love you baby.. I’ll never stop loving you, no never” Nathaniel said breathlessly with their foreheads resting on each other.

“I love you too Bunny” Arianna smiled widely and kissed the bandage on his forehead.

“That’s a healing kiss” She said cutely and Nathaniel chuckled.

She hugged him again, smiling so widely.. The smile that she thought she lost forever.

Something rang in her head and she immediately pushed Nathaniel away, frowning so much..

“What’s wrong?”

“Who’s that lady who brought me here? What are you doing in her house? Don’t tell me you two-” Arianna paused, glaring at him.

When Natalia dragged her in here, she couldn’t help but notice how pretty Natalia was and she was also very curvy compared to her..

“It’s not what you think..” Nathaniel said and explained everything to her.

“Oh,, she’s Rose’s sister.” Arianna said and looked down, feeling embarrassed.

Nathaniel chuckled and nodded before pinching her nose.

“Your jealousy is top notch” Nathaniel said and Arianna pouted.

He cupped her cheek and pecked her lips.

“Baby, I love you.. You’re my first and my last bus stop. Besides you’re 18 and Natalia is 23… You’re still growing, I’m sure you’ll be s*xier than her in the future” Nathaniel said.

“You think so?” Arianna blushed.

“Of course! And I’ll be the proud boyfriend who has s*xy top model as girlfriend” Nathaniel rubbed his nose on hers.

Arianna giggled.

“And I’ll be the proud girlfriend who has a hot celebrity as boyfriend” Arianna smiled.

The door opened and Natalia came in..

“So I’m sorry to interrupt your lovely moment but time’s up.. Need to take her back to her car before the driver wakes up” Natalia said.

“But, I don’t want to leave him” Arianna pouted.

“You have to. If your driver wakes up, he’ll inform your father and if your father is informed, the police will be included and I’m sure they’ll end up finding out Nathaniel is still alive which will ruin everything” Natalia said.

“Oh okay” Arianna nodded sadly.

Nathaniel dropped her back down before he kissed her lips briefly..

“It’ll soon be over, we’ll be reunited once more.” Nathaniel said.

Arianna smiled and nodded before leaving.

“Thanks so much Lia.” Nathaniel said.

Natalia winked at him before leaving too..

Nathaniel kept smiling.. He began smelling something was burning greatly.

“F**k! My breakfast!!” He ran back to the kitchen

PATTERSON MANSION**

“Make sure my gown is ready before tomorrow.. Got that?” Noelle said on the phone before hanging up.

“Your birthday party will be so cool mom” Michael smiled as he was checking out the designs on her tablet.

He took a day off to execute his plan.

“Yeah,, 40 years on earth is definitely something to celebrate” Noelle laughed.

Michael felt the urge to glare at her but he smiled instead.

“You still look young mom!!” Michael said.

“Beauty never fades” Noelle said and they both laughed.

“Can’t believe that stúpid Nathaniel thought he was going to be getting my heritage from me” Michael said with a vicious look on his face.

“Huh?” Noelle exclaimed in surprise.

“Yeah! Wait mom, you actually thought I’ll let someone steal everything that belonged to me? C’mon, I was pretending for dad” Michael laughed

“Finally!! You’ve gotten back to your senses my son!!” Noelle clapped.

“I knew it was a good idea getting rid of that bad seed in this family” Noelle chuckled.

“What do you mean by that?”

“Guess who kílled Nathaniel?” Noelle smirked.

“You?”

“Bingo!?”

“Wow mom you’re so badass!!” Michael laughed along with Noelle.

“We need to make a toast on that” Michael said.

“Sure, let me go grab a wine” Noelle said and left.

Michael brought out his phone and clicked on save before sending it to Natalia.

He smirked as he looked.

“Job done” He chuckled and smirked.
