“I wanna do mine too” Danika took the gun from him.

“Hey, hey, hey calm down okay. This isn’t a toy… I don’t wanna be held responsible if something bad happens to you. Besides you know grandma doesn’t like you following me to such areas right?” Derek took the gun from her with a smile.

Danika pouted…

“It’s true but this area is so cool. Just look at all these people here, doing cool stuffs ” Danika gushed.

Well they were at a shooting center. That’s were Derek comes day after day to train. He trains till sunset…

“Yeah, its cool but not appropriate for ladies like you” Derek pinched her nose and walked to a table.

He picked up a towel and began wiping the beads of sweat that formed of his face and chest. Once he was done, he wore back his shirt.

“Can’t believe you’re a CEO and a popular figure. Why are so different from all the snobbish popularities we see on social media?” Danika asked…

Derek looked at her and shook his head while smiling. Ever since he got out of the hospital, she’s been asking him all sorts of questions including those that he couldn’t answer…

Danika brought out her phone and googled his name. Truly he was a celebrity. He had so many fan pages, live videos, shows, interviews he attended.

Danika smiled discreetly as she watched his pictures. He was even more handsome in real life than in picture. She swapped through all his pictures posted online.

“Why are you smiling alone? Don’t tell me you’re admiring my pics… I know I look cute but don’t over drool on my pic” Derek teased as he sat down opposite her.

Danika rolled her eyes…

“You’re so full of yourself” She scoffed..

She continued watching his pics but stopped on one as she furrowed her brows…

“Who’s this?” Danika showed him the picture.

Derek smiled. It was a picture of Celina and him. It was taken on that day they went to the zoo together.

“That’s Celina” Derek said so softly with so much affection.

Danika looked at the picture as her heart fell.

“Your girlfriend?” She asked.

“No, more than that. To me she’s not just a mere girlfriend. She’s my priceless wifey” Derek replied.

“Ohh…” That’s all Danika said.

She looked at the photo again with a sad look on her face. What was she expecting, that Derek will be single or something like that?

“She’s really pretty” Danika smiled slightly.

“The prettiest woman I’ve ever seen” Derek smiled.

“Let’s go back home before grandma fires me with questions.” Derek said and stretched his hand toward her.

Danika smiled and took it. He helped her up and they walked out of the building while chatting happily.

Suddenly men began surrounding them one by one. Derek and Danika halted on their footsteps as they watched the men coming out of a corridor one by one.

Derek looked at them, ready to fight in case there’s danger. The men were all muscular ans from the looks of it, one could tell that they were pretty armed and dangerous.

“What do you want?” Derek asked as he slightly pushed Danika behind him for protection.

“We come in peace” One person said as he walked in front of the men.

Derek saw his face. His face was kinda different from the others. At least he was smiling not like those baboons shaped faces…

“We are here to strike a deal with you Derek” The man said.

“How do you know my name” Derek furrowed his brows…

“Well not everyone knows who you are but we do. Your father has goons all over America including here. We heard of your dead and we were so shocked to see you alive and kicking. We want you to become our boss since Mr Santiago is no more.” He said and they all bowed to him.

Derek looked at them, completely surprised…

“Huh? For real…” Danika spoke behind him, completely surprised too.

“Raise up your head, I’m not God” Derek spoke and they did so.

“I want you all to know that I’m not in support of my Father’s illegal businesses. Now if you want me to become your boss, then you have to quit all those drug dealing” Derek said.

“As you wish boss. We are just poor men who want a job for survival. So long as you pay us even if it’s some pennies then its okay.” He spoke.

“Good, I agree” Derek smiled.

“We pledge loyalty and respect to you boss” The chorused.

“Boss, that’s a name I haven’t been called by for a long time” Derek smiled.

A smirk formed on Derek’s face as something came up in his head. It seemed like luck was on his side… Wait first, did he hear right??

“Wait did you say Santiago is dead?” He asked.

“Yes boss. Louis killed him”

Derek frowned. Now, that Louis is really getting out of control and he needs someone to knock some sense into him.

“I’ll be glad to be that person but I won’t only knock some sense into him,,,,I’ll also teach him a lesson he won’t ever forget. Never to mess with his big brother”Derek said inwardly.

He nodded at the men and smiled then looked at Danika. He patted her hair, to him she’s like a small sister he never had.

“Dan, I think it’s time I leave you guys” Derek said.

“Huh?” Danika exclaimed…

Derek turned to the men….

“I need you guys to track down Louis for me. Tell me where is located presently. I’m sure it’ll be easy since you can contact his men” Derek spoke.

“Yes boss” One of the men nodded. They left leaving behind two men to guard Derek.

Derek turned back to Danika. She was really sad. He cupped her cheek…

“Come on, don’t give me those sad faces. You know it was bound to happen right? Besides I never said I was going to abandon you and grandma. You two saved my life and you’ve become a family to me. When the war going on in my family will settle down, you can come and live there okay?” Derek smiled…

“You don’t understand…” A drop of tear fell from her eyes.

Derek was confused. Why’s she crying??

“I’m not sad because you’re leaving, I’m sad because I’m gonna miss you a lot….I,,, I love you” She muttered and looked down.

Derek froze…What the fvck! Did he hear it correctly?

“Danika, I’m…”

“Yeah I know, you’re married and you love your wife and all those stuffs. I just wanted to tell you so I can relief my heart from this burden” Danika said sadly…

“I’m sorry but I see you as my little sis” Derek said.

“I’ll never bring this topic on again but before we change topic. Can you grant me one wish?” Danika asked.

Derek nodded…

She took a step closer and then placed her hand on his chest then stood on her toes before pressing her lips on his, kissing him softly.

Derek stood still and looked at her. She pulled away and hugged him tightly.

“Let’s stay like this just for a while please?” Danika whispered. Derek looked up in the sky and it was already getting dark…

After some minutes, they broke the hug and then walked back home in silence…

“Finally, you two are back. I was worried about you guys” Danika’s grandmother said.

“Sorry grandma” Derek said.

“I’m hungry, let’s go and eat!” Danika pulled Derek in the house.

“Slow down Dan” He said

“Princess, I bought new clothes for you!” Louis smiled and showed it to Celina.

She stood up and simply wenr upstairs without sparing a glance at the clothes. Louis threw the clothes away in anger.

It’s being two weeks he’s trying to win her back but all what she keeps doing is snubbing him…

He brought out his phone and made a call…

“I want to book a hall decorated before tomorrow. I’m getting married” He said.

He picked up a box and smiled as he brought out a white wedding gown.

“Wanted to give you this as a surprise but since you don’t want it, then I guess I’ll use the hard method” He smirked

Celina closed her door shut and heaved a sigh of relief. She rubbed her tummy and smiled. Well the bulge is coming out alittle but she makes sure to wear baggy clothes so that Louis won’t see it.

With slow strides, Celina walked to the window and then looked out of the window. The stars were shining brightly and the moon stood huge in the sky.

“I hope you’re happy wherever you are. Don’t forget me and our baby” Celina smiled.

She climbed on her bed and laid down drifting off to sleep….

Next morning**

A loud knock On Celina’s door woke her up from her sleep.

“Who’s that?!” She snapped as she sat up.

“Open up my love, I have a surprise for you” Louis voice could be heard.

Celina climbed down the bed and went to the bathroom, she took her bath making sure to take her time so that Louis will wait very well. Once she was done, she slowly walked to the door and opened it.

Louis was still there, smiling till the ears. He stretched a box to her.

“What’s that?” Celina asked without taking it.

“Your wedding gown. Go on, put it on and get ready… We’re getting married by 9am” Louis smiled.

Celina was really surprised. Marriage??

“You’re sick in the brain. Go give that to the pigs because it’s only them that can accept to marry a monster like you” Celina said and made to close the door but Louis blocked it.

His face already changed…

“I don’t remember asking you a question. Get dressed, I’ll send my men to come pick you up to the hall. Try to escape and Belle gets it” He fired and placed the box down before walking away.

Celina looked at the box and a drop of tear fell from her eyes.

LATER- 09:00AM

“Boss said I should come pick you up” A man said walking in Celina room. She was already dressed and some makeup were done on her face making her look pretty. The only problem was the look on her face.

She held the saddest look on could think of. The guard held her arm and pulled her out of the room. Tears fell from Celina’s eyes as she was being pulled out of the house.

She was forced to enter the car.

“No, I dont wanna get married to that monster” Celina cried as he hit the car window but the car drove off.

I stopped in front of a hall. She was made to stand in front of the aisle. The music began playing.

With reluctant steps, she walked down the aisle till she reached were Louis was. Only his men were present there as the guests.

“You look beautiful” He smiled.

“I hate you” Celina replied.

They turned to the priest and the ceremony began.

“Miss Celina do you want to take Mr Louis Bernardo as your lawfully wedded husband?” The priest asked.

Tears fell from Celina’s eyes. She kept mute and just kept crying. Louis began growing impatient as the minutes passed by.

“Will you reply before I loose it?!” Louis fired and aimed his gun at Celina which made her flinch.

Celina parted her lips to reply when….

Boom!!! The windows of the hall blew off and people began jumping in. Louis men stood on guard as they took were confused as to what was happening.

Louis was not left out too. He was really confused too.

The ceiling of the the hall fell down in front of Louis and Celina creating a smoke of dust…

“What’s happening…”Celina said fearfully.

A man suddenly descended with a ladder The sound of an helicopter could be heard flying around.

Louis who was still confused didn’t see the next move coming.

The man aimed a gun at Louis and then fired it. It took his left…

“Argh….” Louis groaned as he fell down..

“That’s just a little taste of what awaits you st*pid” The man said.

He grabbed Celina by the waste and held the rope then puled the ladder. The helicopter lifted them up to the rooftop.

“Let me go, who are you??” Celina screamed and struggled trying to get off his grip.

Tears were already falling down her cheeks. She was scared as fvck!!

The man suddenly released her and what followed was silence as they stared at each other. He was wearing a mask so they couldn’t see his face…

Celina’s hand began trembling as she looked deep into the man’s eyes.

With shaky hands she lifted them to his face, removing his mask…
