Chapter 46

“I will be there tomorrow. I will talk with them after I come there. now continue the work, if you need anything, call me.” I said to my assistant.

There was a lot of work is in pending.

I started constructing an apartment in lekki and the work started just now, and I have to finish designing my project and I got an offer to construct a mall in Rivers state and I am planning on taking that. I don’t know how I will get time to spend with my Amanda after we go to Lagos. I thought looking at the pouring rain and went into the bedroom.

Amanda was sleeping and I know she must be tired because yesterday night I didn’t allow her to sleep properly.

I smiled when I thought about yesterday night events and went near the bed.

I removed my t-shirt and laid beside her.

I looked at her like I was seeing a wonder.

My love, my life, my wife and my everything looked so beautiful if God wanted me to ask for wish, I would ask him to cage Amanda with me in a place where only us can be with no one else.

I want to spend each day and every moment seeing her face.

And without seeing her or hearing her voice I can’t concentrate on anything.

I can understand that I am totally going crazy about her and I am addicted, addicted completely to my wife, Amanda.

This love is making me insane, I thought and leaned to kiss her.

I kissed her forehead and right cheek and pulled her waist close to me.

Her lips were only a few inches away from mine.

I wanted to kiss her but she was sleeping.

How can she sleep so peacefully after making me aroused?

“Amanda are you sleeping”, I asked her gently.

She opened her eyes and looked at me.

“How can I sleep when you are constantly touching me, hugging me and kissing me..”, she said.

I smiled.

“sorry I disturbed your sleep” I said.

“No, I didn’t sleep. I just closed my eyes and tried to sleep but something keep making me be awake.” she said and hugged me by encircling her hands on my bare waist.

“Why?? is anything bothering you”, I asked her.

“No, it is not like that. I am feeling dizzy from morning itself” Amanda said and I hugged her tightly.

“Do you need anything to drink.” I asked.

“No, I don’t want anything I just need some water, I will drink and be alright”, Amanda said and got up.

“Wait you stay here, I will bring that for you”, I said and took the bottle from the fridge.

After drinking some water Amanda looked at me.

“can we sit there?” she said pointing the couch beside the balcony.

“Hmm, yeah. come.” I said and held her hand I took the bed sheet to cover us because it’s so cold.

She went to sit on the couch but I made her sit on my lap as I covered us with the bedsheet.

Amanda placed her face on my chest and we both looked at the rain.

“What we are going to do tomorrow?”she asked.

“I planned on taking you to the boat ride, if the weather is good we will do that tomorrow.” I said and caressed her hair.

We were silent and only the sound of the rain filled the room.

“I love you micheal. I want to stay like this forever.” Amanda said and hugged me.

Hearing her words, I felt that I was going to miss her.

what if I keep on running behind my work then I can’t get time to be with my family.

so I have to Change myself, I thought.
