Chapter 56
(Pool Romance)

“Why the hell did you bring me back..hargh” Megan snapped, touching her temple, as she paced round the room. Lazarus simply watched her, nonchalantly

“You heard what she said, your parents went on a trip” he defended

“But we could have just traced them, or try to find out where they went to, if you could find me back then, it won’t be hard for you to do this” She stated calmly this time, but still sound worried.

“Your parent will be fine, trust me. Violet won’t be able to hurt them, no matter what. She wants you, not them.” He resorted. She broke down in tears slumping to the ground as he drew closer to her.

“Hey…you need to trust me on this….fine..i will just try to find them for you okay…will that make you better?” he asked. She quickly nodded, cleaning off her tears.

“Are you sure about that”

“Yes….i’m sure”

“Thank you” She pulled him into a hug, while he caressed her back

“You are welcome, so can you clean off those tears. I hate seeing it on your face” he whispered, she was forced to laugh out, still not breaking the hug. He wasn’t bothered about it though, he loves to feel her warmth against his body.

They were both still until he felt her tensed up.

“What is it” he asked, peeling her off his body to look at her face

“I’m confused” She stated, looking perplexed. He frowned

“About what?”

“Lottie…how..how did she know that my life is in danger..and how did she also know that I came with you..i mean, isn’t that strange” She asked.

Lazarus shrugged
“She doesn’t smell like a mystic being. She smells like human, so perhaps she had guesses..or…I don’t know” He replied, but she wasn’t satisfied with his answer.

“You will just ask her about it when we have resolved all these problems…okay…don’t think too much.”

Night time~
After Dinner~

“Where is Lazarus?” Megan asked Drusilla who sat on the couch, knitting.

“I don’t know..he might be in his room or study..perhaps busy” She replied, not taking her eyes off what she is doing

“Ok…”

“You want to see him” She asked

“Oh..no…just asking” Megan chuckled nervously. Drusilla gave her a funny look

“Tell me…what is going on with you both…lately” She grinned, winking at Megan, who was taken aback

“Nothing…we just..erm..why do you ask such question” She exclaimed, after not finding a suitable reply

“Well…you are no more loggerheads…you both are getting really close” Drusilla teased

Megan blushed hard

“Stop teasing me…I’m out of here” She resorted as Drusilla laughed out. You don’t need to feel embarrass about it, it was just a harmless question. Anyways, where are you heading to, in a large towel?”

“Oh..i wanna go swimming..i’m in my bikinis. I won’t take long” She replied. Drusilla nodded

“Take your time darling”

“Phew…this night is cool” Megan muttered, walking towards the pool. The moon shined brightly as the water shimmers beneath it. She took her time walking slowly towards it, while admiring it from afar.

Just as she got closer she heard a sound that came from the pool, it was quick, and everything became silent again.

“What sound was that?” She thought to herself, walking on tiptoes to have a look. She squatted looking directly into it, to catch a glimpse of anything but saw none. She breathed out

“Perhaps my mind was just playing tricks on me” She thought

She pulled off the towel, dropping it on the close by bench, and gently placed her legs in the water, while she sat on the edge.

She moaned, enjoying its cool temperature. She allowed her legs to play in the water first, humming a sound that came to her mind, with eyes closed.

Just as she sang out the last note of the song, a strong hand came out of the water, pulling her in by the waist, as she made a loud splash.

“Harggh” She tried screaming but he was fast to place his hand over her mouth, and whispered into her ear.

“It’s me…don’t panic” he muttered and chuckled. She tried calming her hitched breathing which was caused by the sudden fear.

She was backing him with his hands wrapped around her waist; she turned to face him, hitting his chest slightly.

“What was that for?” She snapped playfully. He chuckled, pulling her closer

“Did I scare you?” He asked. She nodded, pouting

“When did you get into the water?”

“I was in here before you came”

“Oh..i thought you were in your room, you didn’t come down for dinner”

He nodded

“How did you stay so calm in the water, I didn’t even see your figure…perhaps I didn’t look well, though I heard a sound earlier. I just didn’t follow my instinct…haah” She exasperated

“Sorry…I kind of took some swimming lessons when I was little…so..we were taught on how to stay still in water for a long time, holding our breath.” He noted, bringing his hand closer to her face as he pulled back the strand of her hair on it.

“Ok…I thought vampires breath under water” She teased. He laughed out

“Hell no…we ain’t mermaids”

He dived into the water coming out behind her

“Come on, since you want to swim, let’s try out something together. The pool is large and wide, so we can both swim to the end.

The first person to reach there will ask anything from the loser, and whatever thing asked should be given.”

“Is it some kind of swimming game or what?” She smiled out, swimming towards him. He shrugged.

“Yes…it is..so are you in”

“Sure…and I’m gonna win..no one beats me in a swimming game. I always win” She muttered. He smirked

“Ok…let’s see about that”

“At the count of three…stay in a good position..are you set”

“Yup”

“Fine…you call it..”

“Ok…one…two…three” Megan yelled out childishly as they began swimming to the far end of the pool.

Megan put all her energy in it, doing her dolphin skills, while Lazarus felt like he was competing with a fingerling.

He got to the pool edge first, coming out of it, as he waited for her to meet him there. Though if she had competed with a human, then she will be considered the best swimmer, not him.

He watched her struggle to get to the edge, coming out with a bright smile which immediately turned into a frown when she sighted him already there.

“I won” Lazarus winked at her. She scoffed

“That’s cheating..you cheated..you wouldn’t have been so fast” She snapped, folding her arms. He laughed out, entering the pool, as he pulled her closer

“Come on..you should have thought of who you were competing with. I’m not human, and my strength is far more than yours, you can’t beat me in a game baby..but kudos to you…you tried..trust me” he winked, pecking her cheek.

She blushed
“Oh…he called me…baby” She thought, feeling elated.

“I should have won, I really have something to ask” She whined

“You can still ask…though..i’m gonna ask mine too. So ladies first”

“It’s about the mermaid stuff..not a thing actually..have you seen one before”

He arched his brow

“Nope…why do you ask?”

“Well..since the vampires, witches and all that are mystic creatures…I thought you all might have encountered each other, including the mermaids..and erm..fairies.”

“Nahh…yea..those creatures are real..but..I haven’t come across them in any form, they have their own worlds and we have ours. The thing is…hhum” he cleared his throat.

“Long time ago, the vampires where once humans…so..something happened, changing them to become who we are today…but that will be a story for another day.”

“Oh..” She mumbled

“Yea…that’s not what I want now…I want something else” he whispered, holding her waist, as he looked directly into her eyes. She gulped down. The cool atmosphere was already getting hot

“What..” She asked, softly, not breaking the eye contact, which didn’t only look into his eyes, but his lips also. They were already inches apart, when he said the word that her ears have always itched to hear.

“I want you” he stated with pure love in his eyes. He brought his hand to her chin, making circles on it with his thumb.

“You know….i have waited a long time for you..i was beginning to think I won’t get a mate, not until I found you.

Though it was a bit complicated, being that you are human..and all that. I wasn’t ready to mate a human then; that was why we really didn’t get along.

“I’m sorry about what happened at the club…” he chuckled, she smiled out. Tears were already glittering in her eyes.

“But now…I have no reason to despise you..i now see the potentials behind that crazy rap artist…and why we are meant to be together.

I am ready so share everything with you Megan..i don’t want you to hate me anymore.

I will protect you with my life, making sure that..nothing hurt you. Seeing your smile and innocent face makes me happy, and I don’t want that to end. I want to be with you forever.

I love you Megan…I love you so much” he noted, tightening his grip around her waist.

She allowed the tears she was holding in to fall freely; Lazarus’ words had an impact on her. Yes, many of her boyfriends have spoken words similar to this, but with Lazarus, it felt different. It felt genuine, and out of love, not lust.

“My idol shouldn’t cry” he whispered, cleaning of her tears with his thumb. She chuckled out more tears. Afterward, he drew her face closer, placing his lips on hers.

“Oh my gawd…this is heaven” She thought inwardly, as his lips felt soft against hers. She allowed him to do his magic before reciprocating. They k**sed in a slow pace at first, each nibbling and sucking the other’s lips; enjoying the juicy flavors, and butterfly sparks in their stomachs.

Lazarus caressed her back, down to her waist, he increased the pace, sucking ferociously on her lips, down to her neck. He nibbled on it, placing soft bites, while she moans in ecstasy.

She wanted more, her legs were already shaking, and she could feel the wetness in her panties. She wanted him to go further, but he was taking his time, he didn’t want to rush her.

He went back to her lips and took it in again; she trailed her fingers into his silky hair, pulling him closer, while his hand finds its way to b00bs, as he fondled it to her taste. She trialed her fingers on his biceps down to his abs

“Oh my gawd…just continue” she moaned into his mouth. This time she wanted to feel him inside of her, she has waited so long for this. She is damn h0rny. She took off the bikinis top leaving it in the water, so that he could have access to touch her flesh.

He noticed this and paused, breaking the kiss. He looked down to see her topless and chuckled

“You shouldn’t have down that” he whispered, kissing her ears

“Why” She moaned with eyes closed. He faced her looking into her eyes

“Because you just ignite the demon in me” He smirked. And with that, he pulled her up taking one of her apples in his mouth, giving it a suitable suck, as he circled his tongue on the te@t, giving her that tingling feeling.

“Damn, just take me now….” She moaned loudly

“No…” A voice sounded from behind them. They paused in their act, as Lazarus turned to look. Megan flushed in embarrassment seeing Drusilla behind, standing akimbo with folded arms

“Can’t you both just get a room and continue whatever you have started…huh? Do you wanna give her cold Lazarus…you both are in a freezing pool for goodness sake…she is human”

Lazarus chuckled, as Megan tried hiding her face in his chest

“You really need spanking Lazarus…you also won’t like the effect of the cold it will have on you Megan, trust me, you both are gonna spend five hour in that pool if you end up having s*x, so I will advise you to get a warm bed and do your thing…not in my pool” She snapped, turning to leave

“Erm…Megan” She called.

“Yes” Megan replied, still hiding her face

“I thought you said you ain’t gonna stay long…I had to come look for you…huhn…I’m going to bed. You both should leave my pool” She stated and left

“We are sorry Drusilla” Lazarus yelled after her, laughing out

“Phew…she just ruined our moment” he stated, as Megan blushed

“She was just so raw with everything” She replied him. He nodded

“Come on..let’s go inside…I don’t want you to catch cold. I can stay here for hours, but I can’t risk that for you.

He wrapped the towel round her body as they went in. Though they didn’t make out again that night, he only bid her goodnight after walking her to her door. They surely did enjoyed the few moments they spent at the pool

Mid-Night~~~
Megan’s POV
I was beginning to feel uneasy as I slept. My body was reacting strangely making me force myself out of my dreamland to reality.

I tried opening my eyes but it felt so heavy, and when I did, my eyes came in contact with the last person I want to see.

“Violet” I called out in rage, but it came out more like a whisper. I feel really weak in my body as my legs go numb.

“Oh…sleeping beauty is awake…happy to see me right..haaha” Violet chuckled, touching my hair. I tried to push her hand off, but I couldn’t lift my hand. What has she done to me? I thought

“You b!tch..what have you done to me” I gritted

She laughed out

“Don’t struggle..just stay calm..in a few minute time, you will be in my kingdom, greeting the most powerful queen in the universe” She smirk, then suddenly frown

“Though..very soon…I will be taking that position…like that huhn”

“I hate you Violet” I snapped

“The feelings is mutual”

“I’m promising you, once I get out of this mess I will deal with you..Lazarus won’t rest until he finds you. He will feed your blood to the dogs and your body to the vultures”

She scoffed, getting on her feet with a sneer on her face

“Oh…you mean..your little boyfriend..too bad I mask my scent really well..so none of them will notice my presence here. I’m smart isn’t it, ever wonder how I got in here. Thanks to you..you helped me”

That’s true, no one could come in through the walls except Lazarus, I and Drusilla. How did she come in here, and how did I help her? I thought, unable to solve the puzzle

“Mind you, I injected you in your sleep with a very poisonous substance. If you were a mere human, then you would have been long dead, but it won’t ki*ll a powerful Lily like you.

It will just paralyze you for the main time. And let’s see if your boyfriend will find out about you when we leave….i will like to watch him fight me, like you said.” She giggled.

She snapped her fingers at me, and the last thing I saw was darkness looming over me.
