I heard people arguing downstairs ,i got up from bed .
babe what’s going on “I asked
and it was ivy heavily pregnant
what are you doing here ” I asked

baby daddy ,last time I checked I never had unprotected sex with you” I said

Jenny walked away ,you can tell from her facial expressions that she was getting emotional ..
babe ” I said trying to touch her

look ivy am not the person responsible for that pregnancy ” I said

come back when you deliver that baby, and we do a DNA test” I said

I don’t know what you talking about” she said
look at what you did to me ,am on chemotherapy because of you ,you know I can have you arrested? leave my house come back when that child is born we have a DNA test” I said

Cindy helped ivy out ,I went upstairs and found Jenny crying
i sat next to her and held her hand
babe ,I have hurt you alot but making her pregnant is not one of them ,am a man and I know when I have made someone pregnant ,I can even swear on my parents that isn’t my baby she is carrying” I said
she was busy sniffing

she looked at me with her teary eyes,i held both her cheeks

I doubt because it looks like am a baby making machine ” she laughed

I got tired and we sat on the bench
life is funny,i was so in love with Philip and now he is a stranger” she said

when I got pregnant ,I knew he was the man for me,i never thought that I will be married to a white man ,the day you approached me at the party I thought you were troubling your soul” she said

when you love someone so much ,you will try by all means to make sure they are happy ..the few weeks that’s passed I finished my chemotherapy treatment and I was getting better ,I spent most of the time with my wife home ,we took our kids to my mother’s place and it was so great just being the two of us ..
babe.what food is that ” she teased
just taste ” I said
no ,I don’t want to eat for that I don’t know ” she shook her head
I promise babe , just try it ” I said
she closed her eyes and opened her mouth ,I fed her the food ..
how is it ” I asked
give me the food ” she got the plate from me
I told you ,you will like it ” I said
shhhiiiii it’s not me ,it’s the baby” she said
my phone rung and it was a strange number
hello ” I answered
where are you ” the caller asked
who am I talking too ” I said
am doctor Daka” he said
yes how my I help you ” I said
can you come to uth hospital” he said
why ” I asked
just come sir ” he said
he hung up
what ” she asked
am called by one doctor Daka ” I said
to do what ” she asked
I also don’t know ” I said
I got my car keys and coat since it was freezing outside ..
am going with you ” she said
no” I said
we are going ” she said
you can never argue with a pregnant woman ,she got her purple coat and we went to the hospital ,she was busy eating the food I made for her ..
I thought you said no ” I asked
I told you it’s not me but the baby” she asked
we reached at the hospital and asked for the doctor ..
Mr Brown ” he said shaking my head
yes how may I help you ” I asked
we had a patient her name was ivy a few day ago ,she delivered a baby here but unfortunately the lady ran away ” he said
okay ” I said
so why call my husband” she asked
she left the child here and your husband ‘s phone number next to the baby ” he said
can we see the baby” Jenny asked
I kept on playing that I hoped it wasn’t white ,when we got to the children’s ward the baby was there helpless crying ..
she left a note ” he said handing the note to me
“hey Miguel
by the time you will be reading this note I will be far away from this place ,this child isn’t yours ,I paid some guy to get me pregnant but i prayed for it to turn out white but look at it ,I looked at the ears and she was going to be black,i can’t raise that child ,if you want dump it in a garbage disposal or take it to any orphanage ..love ivy”
this woman is sick” I said
let me see ” she said getting the letter
I gave her and she read through ..
really a mother do this to her own child ” Jenny said
doctor take it to any orphanage” I said I was about to walk away when Jenny held my hand .
baby even if this child isn’t yours ,we can still give it a home ,I know a lady who will love to take care of her ” she said
why do you want to help her ” I asked
look at her ,she is so beautiful let’s not abandon her like her mother ” she said
doctor we will take her ” I said
we got her ,Jenny held her all the way home .
when we got home ,she made some milk for her ,the one Ashley used to take ..
who will you give her too ” I asked
remember my worker Julia ,the woman who lost her husband and child in the road accident” she asked
yeah” I said
she is a perfect woman ,I wish I can take care of her but with the baby on the way and 3 other ones ,I can’t handle such ” she said
why are you this nice “I asked
this child doesn’t know anything ,she is a blessing ” she said
you are incredible” I said
we shared a kiss ..she woke up early that day and called her friend Julia ..
I woke up as well to hear what she will say .
I know last year was hard for you ,but God is doing great things for you ” Jenny said
thank you madam ” Julia said
Julia how would you like to take care of a baby girl as your own ” Jenny asked
I don’t understand” julia said
babe help me with the baby” Jenny said
I went to get the baby and handed her to Julia.
madam ” she said surprised
this baby deserves a home ,and I chose you because ,I see how good you are with kids especially my Ashley and I wanted you to take care of this little baby ” Jenny said
madam thank you , atleast I won’t miss my baby and husband” julia said looking at the baby
I will get my lawyer to prepare all the necessary documents and my wife here will help you with some of baby shopping ” I said
thank you very much sir ,you don’t know what you have done ” julia said
my wife was right ,a baby is a blessing from God and they don’t know anything ,they were not at any fault ..I pray ivy will pay for her sins for Making an innocent soul suffer ..
