“Where are you heading to?” Raymond asked calmly again.

Scarlett stared at him then at his hand on her cheek. She frowned as anger slowly boiled in her…

“How dare you touch me?!” Scarlett yelled and raised her hand to her cheek.

Raymond caught her hand midair and pulled her closer to him, staring deep into her eyes.

“You’re really stubborn aren’t you? Thought I warned you not to raise your hands on me” Raymond said..

Scarlett snatched her hand from him and pushed him away before leaving. She entered her car and drove off heading to the gate.

Raymond dipped his hands in his pocket as he watched her leave. A smirk slowly crept up his lips.

“Let’s see how that birthday party will go..” Raymond said and continued what he was doing.

Ethan walked out of the supermarket while pressing his phone with a wrapped gift on the other hand.

Suddenly someone hugged his arm. He furrowed his brows when he saw it was a cute girl, one of his chícks.

“Ethan?” She smiled and winked at him.

“Oh….you” Ethan smiled, to be honest he doesn’t even know the name of this girl. They’re just too many.

“Mind if we have dinner together? Yunno..you, me..” She paused and leaned to his ears.

“And the bed.” She whispered seductively.

Ethan smirked and looked at her.

“Sure!, but not today. My best friend’s sister’s birthday is today and I want to be there” Ethan said.

“Tomorrow then?” Ethan said..

“I won’t miss it for anything” He whispered to her and she chuckled.

The door to the supermarket opened and Phoebe walked out with a basket of groceries in her hand.

“I’ll text you later, bye!” Ethan winked and left her.

“Gosh!, he’s so hot and cool… I wish there was more than that to our relationship” The girl gushed.

“Hey! Hey! S*xy!” Ethan called walking behind Phoebe.

He caught her arm and she winced before facing him. That made Ethan furrow his brows..

“What’s wrong?” Ethan said and pulled up her sleeves. His frown deepened when he saw bruises on it.

“What happened?”

Phoebe slapped his hand off her body and pulled back down her sleeves.

“Who gave you the permission to touch me?” Phoebe glared at him.

“I just saw..”

“Stop talking to me, just let me be!!” Phoebe yelled at him and walked away.

Ethan watched her as she left with a lot of questions running through his mind.

The Watterson… Evening**

The guests clapped for Monica as she walked up stage, looking so pretty and cute.

“Thanks to everyone who came here for my birthday. Thanks to my friends and family who showed me how much they love and care for me through their gifts and wishes, I really appreciate you all.” Monica smiled…

They clapped for her as she went down. The music began playing and those who were in the mood for dancing were busy dancing.

“Just look at how our little sis is pretty” Scarlett said, sipping from her drink.

“Well its normal, I was the one that did her makeup” Stephanie said

“I designed and made her dress as my present” Scarlett said.

“I wished her happy birthday before you!” Scarlett retorted.

“And here we go…” Arnold sighed while Julia just chuckled.

Donovan’s mansion**

Raymond walked out of the bathroom with a towel round his waist. He quickly slipped into one of his shorts before sitting in front of a computer.

“Time to see what’s going on in that family” Raymond said and began pressing the keyboard..

The tiny camera he slipped on Scarlett’s dress beeped. Well that was the maid reason why he approached her.

He sat properly as he watched all what was happening at the party, all the places that Scarlett went to he could see it…

“Happy birthday once more Monica” Ash smiled as she danced with Monica.

“Thanks bro” Monica chuckled.

“Bro?” Ash furrowed his brows.

“Well yeah! You’re like my other big brother” Monica said.

“Okay little sis.. But don’t let Angelo hear it, he might get jealous” Ash said and Monica laughed..

“Your sister is really cute!” Ethan said as they watched Monica and Angelo dance.

“Don’t even think about it…” Angelo gave him a warning look.

Ethan laughed and raised his hand up in defeat.

“Hey guys!!” Melody popped up her head in between them from behind.

“Mel, what’s up?” Ethan smiled.

“What you doing here?” Angelo said.

“Monica invited us” Melody said.

“Us?” Angelo said.

“I and Phoebe” Melody said, coming to sit in between them.

“Where’s she?” Ethan asked

“She… She isn’t the kind of girl that loves partying” Melody said.

“Oh….” Was all Ethan could say.

Angelo looked at Melody but when she looked at him, he quickly looked away. Ethan smirked and stood..

“If you need me, I’ll be there with that girl” Ethan winked and left.

Angelo cleared his throat as he looked away. Melody was busy humming the music which was playing while looking around.

“Hey!” She said. Angelo turned to her.

“Still won’t sing for me?” Melody said.

Angelo groaned..

“I said no alright? Stop pestering me!” Angelo groaned.

“But why?” Melody asked.

“For the thousandth time, I don’t want to talk about it” Angelo said.

“C’mon…” Melody placed her head on his shoulder and pouted.

Angelo stared at her for a while and closed his eyes before looking away.

Melody cupped his cheek and turned him to her, their face was so close to each other..

“Please….” Melody grinned innocently…

Angelo stared at her face..

“Is she doing it on purpose?” Angelo thought.

He removed her hand from his cheek and looked away.

“You’re so boring…” Melody frowned and crossed her arms.

“Can I have this dance?” Skye said.

Monica smiled and nodded then looked at Ursula and Ash.

“I’ll be back guys!” Monica said and stood.

Ursula stared at her and Skye as they walked to the dance floor.

“If you love him, why don’t tell him?” Ash said.

Ursula looked at him. He shrugged and took a sip from his drink.

Skye held Monica’s waist and she held his shoulder. They began swaying to the rhythm of the music.

“Do you like my gift?” Skye asked.

“Of course! Look I’m even wearing it..” Monica showed him the bracelet on her wrist.

“You look beautiful tonight” Skye said.

“Thanks Skye” Monica smiled cutely.

Skye brushed a piece of her hair behind her ear. That made Monica look up at him.

“Look Monica, there’s something I’ve been meaning to tell you for a very long time” Skye said.

“Yes…”

“Monica look, from the very first time I set my eyes on you… I became mesmerized” Skye said.

He cupped her cheek and leaned in slowly. Monica’s eyes widened as he came closer.

“I love you Monica..”

He brushed his nose against hers. Monica slowly closed her eyes when she felt his lips just few inches away from hers. She held onto her dress tightly.

As Skye was about to the gap between them.

“Monica?”

Skye paused when he heard Monica’s name. Monica’s eyes flew open and she looked at who called her.

Surprise could be seen on her face at who she saw.
