Sola knocked on the door a second time waiting for it be answered. He totally forgot about the door bell.

A maid opened the door, seeing Sola she smiled greeting him and opened the door wide for him to enter.

She didn’t notice the officers behind him. She didn’t notice Dora and Tayo until they followed him into the house.

The Olaniyans were at the table having dinner when they walked in.

“ Sola.” Sire smiled seeing him but frowned upon seeing the policemen.

“ What’s going on?”

“ Rosaline Olaniyan, you’re under arrest for the murder of Isaac Ademoye, Deji and Amanda Olawale, the kidnapping of Amara Olawale and attempted murder of Anna Ademoye.”

“ What the hell is going on…..Sola!!”

Sire looked pissed while Bidemi stared on speechless. He looked at his wife who had a surprised look on her face.

“ Rosaline?”

“ I have no idea what is happening right now. I’m as surprised as you are.”

“ I’m sorry, officer but you’re in the wrong house.” Sire said facing the policemen.

“ Young lady I’d like you to step aside. Obstructing an officer from doing his job is also an offense. I’m sure you’re educated enough to know that.” Tayo told her frowning.

Sire flared up.

“ Sire, please don’t do anything that will implicate you.” Sola gently told her still looking at her mother.

“ I can’t just stand there and watch these people take my mother away.” Sire shouted.

Sola lost it.

“ She took my father, Sire. She put my mother in the hospital and threatened my little sister!!! I can’t just stand there and watch her get away with it.” he yelled. His anger building up and his sanity was hanging by a thread.

“ You still have your complete f^cking family. I lost mine because of this monster!”

“ Sola.” Dora softly called to calm him down.

Sire kept shut immediately. She had never seen him like this before. He looked….dangerous. The aura around him was scary and she was intimidated.

“ Now, move aside.” Sola wasn’t smiling.

Sire looked at her mother and asked if it was true. Her eyes were getting heavy, she hoped it wasn’t true.

She prayed it wasn’t true….with all her heart.

“ Mummy.”

“ It’s not true, baby, you can’t possibly believe the guy you met yesterday over your own mother.” Rose said to Sire, then faced Sola. “ And you think you can barge into my house and accuse me of something I know nothing about.”

“ I have proof, Rose.” Sola smirked and connected Amara’s phone to the TV.

He paused when it got to a part then zoomed in.

“ You see, your expensive ring gave a way in this video.”

Rose scoffed.

“ If you’re not blind you’ll find out this person have nothing on his fingers.”

“ Exactly, you know, I would have ignored it too but I realized something.”

Bidemi raised a brow.

“ What does all these mean, Sola?”

“ I wear my wrist watch everyday, whenever I go out.” Sola said unbuckling his wristwatch removing it. He proceeded to show everyone in the room his wrist.

The skin his wrist watch covered was lighter than the rest. Then he showed everyone the image on the TV screen.

In the index finger of the person had a thin line of lighter skin just below the last knuckle. The same mark he saw just before she slipped in her ring the day Sire invited him over for dinner.

“ Sire did mention something about you never taking off that ring…unless you want to take you bath or probably, make these videos.” He revealed. “Rose, now would you kindly take off the ring.”

Rose stared at the young man for a while then smiled widely, before bursting into laughter.

“ Well done, Sola, I would never believe it would be that seventeen year old boy that would figure it all out.”

Rose took a bite of the berry on the table.

“ You know I would have sworn, it would be Dora.” Rose laughed again. “ You just lost to a child, Dora, although you were getting too close sixteen years ago.”

Everybody in the room looked dumbfounded as Rose didn’t look scared or remorseful.

“ You don’t even feel remorseful for everything you did?”

Bidemi finally spoke up in irritation.

“ Remorseful? I should be pitied.” Rose screamed as tears began to peek out of her eyes.
