Emilia gasped loudly…

“Harper…Harper clan?” Emilia repeated and Evelyn nodded with a smile before crossing her arms.

“You know already what the Harper clan’s mission is right? So, I just want you to think through it… Here’s my contact in case you make your decision… I give you one day to make your choice” Evelyn placed her contact on the table.

She smiled at Evelyn before putting back her shades, cat walking out of the company.

Emilia looked at the contact card on the table then looked back at the road she took.

L-BOUTIQUE**

This is one of Logan’s shop where he sells the designs produced by his company.

“How about this?” Luca asked.

“Nah!, it doesn’t bring out your build up body well” Riley said, going through the racks of men’s clothes in front of her.

Luca sighed and smiled shortly, watching Riley go through the various clothes for men.

Well tomorrow will be their graduation day and a party will be held for all the graduate where they get to come with their dates. Well no one needs to tell you that Riley is his date.

“How about this one?” Luca showed her black designer shirt with matching pants.

“Nice…besides black looks hot on you” Riley smiled.

Luca chuckled.

“Well since my Queen chose this one then I’ll go for it too” Luca smiled and went to pay for the dress.

Riley went to look for what shell wear for tomorrow too. Well she wanted to wear matching clothes with Luca so she was looking for a black gown.

“Check this one out” Riley showed Luca who was walking to her with the dressed already packaged.

“Well, I don’t like the long slit on the thigh. It reveals too much” Luca pouted.

“Jealous baby” Riley chuckled and kept this one.

“What of this one?” Luca said, showing her a dress.

“Wow, pretty and simple yet elegant and classy. I’ll take it” She said and they went to pay for it.

Luca paid her dress for her and also helped her carry her things. They walked out of the shop immediately everything was over.

“I’m so gonna miss you when I go for university” Luca sighed, pulling Riley closer.

Riley smiled and hugged his arms and placed her head on his shoulder.

“Don’t be babe. We just have to persevere…I’ll write my final exams next year so I’ll just follow you. We just have to be patient for one year” Riley said.

“Though I’m gonna miss you too.” Riley said at the end.

Luca smiled and kissed her forehead.

“I’ll be leaving next week so we have the whole of this week. Let’s spend it like there’s no other time” Luca said.

Riley nodded and pecked his lips as they walked away…

NIGHT, RICARDO’S MANSION**

The whole family was sitting on the couch, watching a movie together. They all cuddled against each other as the watched the movie in peace..

“Oh no… Felicy watch out!!” Minnie said. Well they were watching ‘Ballerina’, a cartoon movie chosen by Minnie.

Myles did all his possible best not to sleep, same as Valentina. To them, it was so boring…

That went on for about 10 minutes before the movie ended. Minnie smiled happily when it ended.

“Gosh!, I’ve watched it several times but I just love it like crazy!!” Minnie gushed.

Valentina unknowingly yawned loudly.

“Hey! You mean the movie was boring??” Minnie frowned…

“Sorry…”

“Mom, why are you sorry. The movie was boring in fact, the word boring seems interesting compared to how it was. It was so so…uséless” Myles said.

“Shut up!!” Minnie shot a pillow at him.

“What?! Look even dad fell asleep” Myles said.

Valentina and Minnie turned to look at Ricardo and Valentina burst out, laughing when she saw Ricardo with his head placed on the couch, sleeping soundly.

“See…” Myles smirked.

Minnie frowned even more.

“Dad!!!” Minnie yelled

Ricardo immediately spranged up from his slumber. He looked left and right then blinked twice.

“You were sleeping?” Minnie pouted.

“Yeah. Sorry, I was so tired.” Ricardo yawned and stood up.

“I’m off to sleep.. Darling, will be in my room” Ricardo said, heading upstairs.

“Alright you two, time to go to sleep.” Valentina said.

“Yes mommy! Goodnight!” Myles said and began walking to his room.

“Goodnight mommy” Minnie smiled and walked away too.

“Goodnight Miss Boring” Myles winked and entered his room.

“I hate you!!” Minnie said and entered her room.

“Love you too sweet sis” Myles said from his room.

Valentina smiled hearing their argument. It’s really cute to see them fight almost over everything but yet, they love each other more than anything..

Valentina stood and left the living room too.

“Have a nice night Sir” A man said.

“Thanks, same to you too” Mr Baxter replied. He was coming out of his favorite club..

He began walking along the dark and calm streets of the night while whistling a music to himself.

And like last night, he suddenly had this feeling…this feelings of being followed.

He turned around but didn’t see anyone. He turned back front and then analyzed his environment with a careful gaze.

Immediately, he took one step in front he felt something touch his back making him halt on his track.

“I see you’re back…” Mr Baxter said with a cold look on his face.

“Yeah” A voice replied, holding the gun she was pointing at Mr Baxter’s back properly.

Mr Baxter smirked and then slowly turned to face someone wearing a hood with a black nose mask that covered her face.

“Why hide your face when I know who you are?” Mr Baxter said.

The person looked at him for a while before removing the hood with nose mask which was on her face revealing none other than Evelyn.

“Good to see you’ve Lyn.. Last time I saw you, you were 6 I think” Mr Baxter said.

“I still remember… The day you killed my father” Evelyn said.

“C’mon…you know how it works in this game. If I didnt ki*ll him, he would have killed me” Mr Baxter replied.

Evelyn just glared at him. There’s no one in this world she hates the most than this man standing in front of her.

Mr Baxter looked at the gun in her hand and then back at her.

“Drop that toy down. You know I hate hurting women but if I must I will… You can’t ki*ll me Lyn” Mr Baxter said.

“I’m the leader of the clan and as the leader I have…”

“Leader? Which leader? To become the leader you have to produce an heir to the clan and so far as my eyes are working, I don’t see any” Mr Baxter scoffed.

“I have..”

Mr Baxter let out a short but sadistic laugh.

“You have… Who are you referring to? Those kids you abandoned just because of money and life? I wonder which magic you’ll perform to get them back” Mr Baxter said and began walking.

He abruptly stopped without turning back.

“You’re the new leader now and I advice you do what is right, stop this war once and for all… But if you wanna act stúpid like your father then it’s on! I’m always ready…” He said.

“An less I forgot, don’t even think of touching a single hair on Charlotte if you wanna keep living this miserable life of yours for long” He said and immediately left.

Evelyn turned and looked at her then slowly smirked. She wore her hoodie and then walked away..

MORNING, AIRPORT**

“Another travel…again!!” Myles sighed.

“Don’t be sad baby, its just for one month beside you’ll stay with your new grandma and aunt” Valentina said, referring to Peggy and Iris.

“I’m not sad… In fact I’m happy. I really like grandma Peggy” Minnie said making Peggy smile.

“Darling, we need to leave” Ricardo whispered to Valentina.

“Alright, bye mom…bye my babies” Valentina waved.

“Bye everyone” Ricardo waved.

“Bye!!!” They chorused.

The couple smiled and walked to the plane. Peggy held the twins hands as they walked to the car.

“Where’s aunt Iris?” Myles asked.

“Well she’s with Gavin. Today is his graduation day” Peggy said.

“Gavin? Who’s he?” Minnie asked.

“Well him and Iris well they’re just like how your parents were” Peggy replied.

“Oh cute!!” Minnie smiled as they entered the car and drove off.
