TWILIGHT HIGH**

“Can’t believe someone here has tasted the forbidden fruit…” Riley said.

“Girls!!!” Kimberly snapped as they laughed.

It’s closing time and since morning, they’ve been teasing her with that.

“Okay, we’ll stop now” Iris smiled.

“I’ll leave you guys…my dad is here to pick me up. Bye!!” Charlotte waved and walked to a familiar car before getting in. The car drove off almost immediately.

“Charlotte’s father always creeps me up.” Iris said.

“Yeah, I wonder how she finds him normal and lovable” Kimberly said.

“And is it me or Charlotte is overly guarded with bodyguards right now… Just couldn’t help but notice it”

“Ahh…how about we go grab something to eat.” Riley said.

“Yeah! I’m starving…” Iris groaned as they walked away..

RICARDO’S MANSION**

“Are you through?” Valentina asked.

“Almost” Ricardo said, super concentrated on what he was doing.

“Done…” Ricardo smiled and showed her the portrait he was painting of her.

“Looks so good! Never knew you can paint” Valentina smiled checking the portrait out.

She was in one of Ricardo’s shirt and they were at the garden..

“There are alot of things you don’t know of me” Ricardo said, handing it to a maid to go and keep.

Valentina jumped on his back, clamping her legs round his waist.

“Then will you mind telling me?” Valentina said and bit his ear lightly…

“You’re teasing me” Ricardo giggled and began walking out of the area, giving her a piggy back.

“Well my favorite color is red, love painting and watching TV, also love cooking though I’m too busy to do such My favorite meal is home made noodles, the way my mom used to do it…” Ricardo said, walking to their room with her.

“You love cooking? That’s cute” Valentina smiled.

Ricardo placed her on the bed and faced her with a smile.

“Still feeling pains?” Ricardo asked.

“No, I’m good. Thanks to the ointment you gave me” Valentina said.

Ricardo simply rubbed her cheek lovingly and held her hand.

“Now that we’re engaged, why don’t you come and live with me??” Ricardo said.

“Really? That will be nice…I’ll inform mom and Iris about that” Valentina smiled and placed her head on his chest.

“Thanks for accepting. Less I forgot, you’re fired!” Ricardo said.

Valentina quickly raised up her head, looking at him with surprised eyes.

“Fired? What did I do?” Valentina exclaimed.

“What?… You don’t expect my future wife to he working for me as my secretary? You’re my wife to be and as the chairman and CEO of Thornton Investment, you’re practical the chairlady” Ricardo pinched her nose.

“Awn…” Valentina gushed and kissed him briefly.

“You’re becoming more romantic by the day!” Valentina smiled.

“It’s my role… Besides, I’ll just reinstate Emilia as my secretary” Ricardo said and Valentina immediately frowned.

“Her? Why her?” Valentina pouted.

“She’s my former secretary so she’s already versed with the work” Ricardo said.

Valentina frowned and crossed her hand childishly, looking away.

“I don’t like it” She muttered.

Ricardo chuckled and pulled her closer, kissing her cheek.

“Come on, I don’t see Emilia the way she sees me and besides I’m with you now so why will I fall her advances when I already have all what I need” Ricardo said.

He pushed her on the bed, pinning her hands on the bed. Valentina giggled and looked at him.

“Alright, do what you want” Valentina said.

“What if what I want is…you” Ricardo whispered and bit her lips.

“Not now, the kids will soon be back and I don’t want any embarrassing scenario” Valentina said.

Ricardo bit her n*pples though the fabric she was wearing. Valentina tried controlling herself but damn!! It took only one night for her to become a slave of his touches..

Ricardo suddenly stopped and pecked her lips before releasing her.

“I stop only because of Myles… He has this spirit of ruining beautiful moments” Ricardo said.

As if he was reading his mind, the door opened and Myles and Minnie ran in.

“Mom! Dad! We’re back!” They exclaimed and jumped on them.

Ricardo looked at Valentina and mouthed ‘I told you so’ with a smirk playing on his lips.

Valentina chuckled silently and faced the kids..

ESTRELLA RESIDENT**

The car drove into the resident and stopped in front of a mansion, a newly built mansion. The driver came out and opened the door for the lady to descend.

“Do you like it ma’am?” The driver asked…

“Very much, it meets up to my expectation.” She said and walked in the building.

She smiled as she saw the newly appointed maids already in action.

“Welcome back Miss Evelyn” They chorused.

She simply smiled and walked away till she entered her room. The air in there was really welcoming. She toasted her bag to the bed and walked to balcony. The cool air breeze kissed her face.

“I missed New York, I missed this place and I’ve missed you too my Ricardo. Myles, Minnie I wonder how you two look like right now” Evelyn said and smirked.

She walked in and switched on the TV. Just immediately, a news popped up showing Ricardo’s proposal to Valentina.

Evelyn watched it with a smirk on her lips. She crossed her arms and sat down on the bed..

“My Ricardo, just look at how handsome you’ve become over the years…and rich too!” Evelyn smiled, a smile that shows danger.

She switched off the TV and walked into her bathroom.

MORNING, BAXTER’S VILLA**

“Ahh…it’s too hard!!” Charlotte screamed.

“You have to do it..come on!” Mr Baxter said, adding another pound on the rod.

Right now, they were in their training room and Charlotte was trying to lift up weights but it was too hard.

Charlotte succeeded to lift it up but when Mr Baxter added another one, she quickly dropped it.

“I…I can’t” Charlotte said, breathing heavily as sweat dripped down her body.

Mr Baxter lend her his hand which she took and stood up.

“You have to toughen up Charl, the enemies are back and you know what that means” Mr Baxter said.

“My life is in danger” Charlotte said slowly.

“Not only you buy everyone that bears the Baxter.” Mr Baxter said.

“But…why?” Charlotte asked.

“Like you know our clan is the most powerful clan in the area but that is just now… Years back there were two powerful clan, the Baxter and the Harper clan. Unfortunately, they were the greatest of enemies.. The Harper clan wants to eliminate the leader and heir of the Baxter clan, so that they can take possession of all our belongings… Luckily Emery is out of the country but there’s me, and you.. I’m not that bothered about myself but I’m very much about you and thats why you need to learn how to defend yourself in case were needs arises. The Harper are back in the country and you know what that means…” Mr Baxter said.

“Yes dad… Let’s continue our training” Charlotte said in pure determination.

Mr Baxter nodded and handed her some box gloves which she wore…

RICARDO’S MANSION**

Ricardo walked out of the bathroom with a towel round his waist while drying his hair with another towel.

He smiled as he saw Valentina still sleeping while holding the pillow tightly. He walked to her and sat down next to her.

Ricardo brought his hands to her hair and brushed it behind delicately. The feeling of Ricardo’s hand on her cheek woke here.

“Good…good morning baby” Valentina yawned cutely.

“Morning my love” Ricardo replied..

“You woke up early, have any plans?” Valentina said.

“Yeah, today is Saturday so I have to go to work” Ricardo said standing up from the bed.

“Let me get ready too” Valentina made to stand.

Ricardo just chuckled, bringing out his clothes from the drawer.

“I fired you remember? Just take this day to go collect your things home so that you can come stay here” Ricardo said.

“So that you can replace me with Emilia” Valentina whispered which Ricardo clearly heard

He chuckled and began wearing his clothes once he was done, he walked to her and pecked her lips.

“I love you” He said and collected his phone beside the bed then carried his suitcase and left.

Valentina sighed and crossed her hand. She looked to her right and to her surprise, a tray of food was placed on the table nearby and a rose was placed beside it. No one needed to tell her who’s the author.

That made her smile as she shook her head, obviously blushing…

LUCA’S MANSION**

“Welcome to my humble home” Luca said and pecked Riley before holding her hand.

“Looks nice and cozy” Riley smiled.

“We have a visitor!” Luca’s mom said as she came downstairs with her husband. She couldn’t help but notice their hands intertwined

“She’s pretty too” Luca’s dad added making Mrs Johnston (Luca’s mom) shake her head.

“She’s not just a visitor dad.” Luca smiled.

Luca looked at Riley who had a nervous look on her face. He squeezed her hand lightly, smiling at her assuredly.

“Mom…dad meet Riley. My girlfriend” Luca smiled, gesturing at Riley. Who bowed slightly.

Luca’s parents gasped and what followed was silence.

“Finally!!” Mrs Johnston exclaimed.

“My only son is not gày!!” Luca’s dad rejoiced.

“Yeah dad….wait what?” Luca ached his brows while Riley laughed silently.

“We thought you were into guys…since you’ve never brought a girl over, you’ve never dated a girl, never spoke of a girl to us…we thought you were,,,you know” Luca’s mom said.

“C’mon guys… I’m normal!!” Luca exclaimed and Riley couldn’t hold herself back, she laughed boisterously.

“Good morning Sir”

“Morning boss”

“How you doing boss?”

His workers greeted him as he walked in the company. He replied them with a smile..

He stopped at Emilia’s office. She smiled at him immediately she saw him.

“Good morning boss” She said cutely.

“Thanks, meet me at my office in five minutes” Ricardo said and continued his way.

Emilia stared at him till he was out of sight. Ricardo made to open his door but paused when someone called him.

“Boss…there’s a lady who arrived here earlier. She sudden barged into your office and demands to meet you” His worker said.

Ricardo frowned, who has the guts to trespass his privacy. Ricardo nodded and opened the door to his office.

He froze as he saw the person. This is the last person he’ll want to see in his entire life…

“Eve…lyn”

“Hubby” She smiled, sitting on a chair with her legs crossed on top of the other.
