In the stress and destress

That each day brings

The worries of the here and now
And the fears of tomorrow
In all these
A thing about life
It goes on

A sleep on an empty stomach
Oppression from every side
The richer getting richer
And the poor getting poorer
In all these
A thing about life
It goes on

Heart broken a thousand times
Pieces too small for mending
A thought love is a scam and for the weak
And a promise never to love again
In all these
A thing about life
It goes on

Dark times in our lives
The light seeming way too far
Beyond the reach of our souls
And hopes for success too small
In all these
A thing about life
It goes on

Crushed from every side
A life full of regrets and the had I done that
Thoughts of giving up your quest
And the lowering of yourself to a failure
Acceptance of defeat even before the battle is over
In all these
A thing about life
It goes on

If then life goes on
Never lose hope nor sight of your goal
Keep going, keep pushing
And one day
You shall soar high above the Stars
Like the morning star
Your light shall shine
And into places you never thought possible
Your feet’s shall walk

In all the worries of life
This you must remember
A thing about life
It goes on

And on
