EPISODE 14.

 

 

Anny was taking out the trash when she saw a black maybach pulled up infront of their house..

She stood still and waited for the person inside to come out but who saw gave her the chills..

It was the devil Boss himself at their house. By any chance her sister wasn’t talking about him right?.

“WTF!” She yelled and the trash bags fell to the ground immediately..

She stayed rooted to the ground in shock while staring at the man who was leaning against the car without much care in the world as he lit a cigarette and placed it in between his lips..

His eyes were on his cell phone and she wondered if he was calling her sister..

Now that she was seeing him in person she couldn’t deny the fact that he’s splendidly handsome and deadly..

He was giving off the mysterious vibe which made people scared of him…

She rubbed her eyes to be sure she wasn’t day dreaming … When she was sure she wasn’t day dreaming she ran back into inform her mom about her new discovery..

“Mom! You gotta see this! Annabelle’s boyfriend is Lucas Caine!” She screamed as she ran upstairs to her sister’s room…

“What did you say?” Mrs Laura stared at her youngest daughter in confusion before glancing at her eldest daughter who seem nervous…

“Yes Mom it’s Lucas Caine! He’s outside right now! ” Anny was panting as she spoke..

Mrs Laura frowned upon learning a shocking revelation..

“Are you sure he’s Lucas Caine? What if he’s just a look alike?” Mrs Laura was finding it hard to believe it..

It’s really impossible to believe her daughter who’s anything but perfect met someone as high as Lucas Caine..

There’s absolutely no way right?

“Mom I-” Annabelle’s ringing phone caught their attention..

Anna knew I her would eventually find out sooner but she wasn’t expecting it to be this soon..

Speak of the devil.. he’s actually the one calling..

Annabelle answered the phone under the questioning gaze of her Mom and sister..

“H…Hello?” She shuttered while staring at her mom..

“I’m outside your house.” He voice was deep and hoarse, something about his voice makes her nervous..

“I’ll be out shortly.” She wanted to say but the phone was snatched by her mom before she could realize it .

 

“I’m Laura Ross, Annabelle’s Mom.. can you step in for a moment?” She didn’t care if he was a billionaire , she won’t let him hurt her daughter..

“Okay.” He answered and Hung up .

“Mom! You shouldn’t take my calls. I told you I was gonna bring him over myself, inviting him in like this isn’t proper.” Anna tried to sound angry but deep down she was anxious..

She had spent a few minutes with Lucas Caine and during that time she saw how arrogant he was and she wouldn’t want Her family to be insulted by that Narcissist.

“We’ll talk later let’s go downstairs first.” She ignored her eldest daughter and left the room…

“Wow..” was the only thing Anny could say and Anna rolled her eyes..

This was truly mind-blowing for Anny..

Anna rushed after her Mother who had gone downstairs to meet Lucas Caine…

Lucas Caine was seated elegantly on the couch but stood up the moment he caught sight of Mrs Laura..

“Good evening Ma’am.” He was rather respectful and that surprised Mrs Laura and also Anna who was on the stairs…

This wasn’t what she had in mind.. she was expecting to play according to the script and be rude to her family for not being pooor.

 

“You must be Mr Lucas.” Mrs Laura Asked with a straight face as she sat down opposite him and also ushered him to sit down..

“Have alot about you.” She continued and He smiled..

“Oh really? Well Anna didn’t say much about her family.” He said with a soft smile..

Anna widened her eyes at that vicious man while wondering what he was up to…

“Mom that’s not-”

“I apologize for the inconveniences but I wanted to make a few things clear..”
