LYKA’S REVENGE

Chapter 6

Aurora was on her way to her coffee shop when all of a sudden, a blue Bentley flying spur car coming from the opposite direction made a dangerous bend. Aurora was caught off guard,her hands won’t stop shaking. She thought that it was her last day on earth,she was quick to hit the car’s brake making her car screech to a halt… the Bentley car also stopped 3 metres away from her tho in a way that made it difficult for aurora to drive pass…

“The driver must be mad…” She kept ranting as she came down from her car and walked over to the driver’s window

“Hey bring this glass down!” She yelled angrily hitting the glass with her knuckles. The door to the passenger seat opened and a gorgeous lady dressed in a white jean and white crop top came out of the car. She dark glasses on and adding to her look, was her curvy ebony black hair. She gave a smile on seeing aurora

“Hey didn’t you see what your so called uneducated driver did? You should be apologizing not smiling” aurora said angrily but the lady just giggled

“Come on aurora,stop this madness” the lady said making aurora open her mouth in shock, that voice is awkwardly familiar and she even knows her name. The lady stylishly took off her glasses and aurora moved wards, shock is written all over her face right now.

“Is this how you say hi to your childhood friend?” The lady gave a devilish smile this time around

⚡ FLASHBACK ⚡

After the death of lyka’s mother, her aunt took her in. Her aunt who happens to be a very w**ked soul refused lyka’s plea to go back to school even though she’s on scholarship. She prefers if lyka goes out to hawk goods for people and collect whatever money the girl made for the day.

Lyka felt like the universe was against her happiness as she has no one to turn to.

During her hawking one day, she came across aurora who also hawking like her and they both became best of friends. Lyka felt at ease with aurora and told her almost everything going on in her life. Aurora on the other hand also told lyka about herself and how she takes care of her mom all by herself and didn’t get the chance to go to senior high school just like lyka. They seem to have a similar story except that aurora’s mother’s still alive.

Some months later, lyka’s aunt came home with the news that lyka would start working in Seoul soon and since the salary was quite attractive, lyka agreed. She also decided to take aurora too.

Both girls were introduced to mrs vera lee and Mr wills lee who they’ll work for as maids.

The lee family were the richest and most popular in south Korea and they have over 20 maids working for them but of all maids, they were closer to lyka. They just liked the girl immediately they saw her and her hard work made them love her more.

This got other maids jealous including her best friend aurora. Lyka also got on the bad side of the head maid lucy. Driven by jealousy,Lucy made lyka do extra work that got her really tired before the day runs out.

The hatred for lyka got heated when the only son of the lee family (Bryan) came back from America where he went for his university education. At first,he became very friendly with her and as time went on,he asked his parents to relieve her of her duties since he’s planning on getting married to her and wouldn’t want his future wife to work as his maid any longer.

Aurora became bitter that she was going to become lyka’s maid and serve her… she made up her mind to bring lyka down even though it’s called betrayal. She tried seducing Bryan a lot and at a point she forcefully kissed him. Bryan was going to fire her but lyka begged on her behalf and they let her stay. Aurora had to pretend to be a changed person to fool them all and maybe the great opportunity she has always been waiting for came when Mrs vera made a silly mistake. With this aurora walked her way into using vera against lyka and got to be the next Mrs Lee.

 

⚡Present ⚡

In a big mansion, located in a secluded place.

She kept pacing to and fro. Not only is she confused but she’s double triple scared. A man was seen climbing down the stairs (the same man that was seen with her in the clubhouse).

“Aurora what is the matter?”he asked as he stood in front of her

“Remember lyka?”she asked

“Your friend from the slums?”he raised a brow

“Yes… she’s back”

“How come about that? Isn’t she suppose to be dead? I mean you con vera to ki*ll her and it was confirmed that the slum she lives in along with her child got destroyed about 5 years ago…how is she still alive?”he asked

 

“I don’t know…do you think vera lied to us?” She asked

“Ion’ think so you were there when i talked to the police you heard what he said that no body in that area escaped the bomb attack”

“Come on how do they know everyone in the area died? It’s a slum and you can’t keep track of the number of people living there”she said

“You know what,stop bothering yourself ok i’ll look into the case critically this time” he assured

“She looks so different and intimidating this time. She now goes by the name Ligaya Choi and from what i gathered from the internet, she’s the owner of Ligaya’s conglomerate”

“You mean the famous ligaya Choi is the same person as lyka Choi?” He asked looking surprised

“My dad’s doing business with her…I can just start proper investigations after meeting with her”he added

“Do what you have to do,my marriage, our plans, and everything is not safe anymore. She came prepared”she exhaled tiredly… she’s really afraid. What if lyka came back for revenge? Everything would be ruined

“You need to calm down ok… just try to be closer to your husband so he can build trust in you. We’ll be leaving soon anyways so she can go ahead and destroy them if she wants”he moved closer and held her face up.

“Smile for me… please”he pleaded making aurora smile widely. He crashed his lips on hers and soon they were both caught in the web of their intense make out. He carried her off the ground and headed for his bedroom upstairs.

Break time

It’s break time and rosella took her food to the lunch counter with cherry. She had only eaten two spoonful of her meal when she saw hiah coming in slowly. She suddenly rushed to hiah

“Hello hiah”

“What part of stay away is hard for you to understand?” Hiah asked rudely

“Please i want to be your friend please…”she begged cutely

“Leave me alone…I don’t want to be friends with you” hiah was about to leave when rosella held her arm. She looked back angrily and pushed rose.

 

“Ouch!”she cried out, she just sprained her wrist and it hurts real bad

“Next time you’ll stay away”hiah said and walked out of the room. Cherry rushed to take rise to the school clinic.

🌼 LEE villa 🌼 11:00pm

Bryan entered into the house, dragging his tired feet on the ground. He’s been working none stop since morning, the company is in a serious mess cause of the money that keeps vanishing into thin air and now we’re running shot of funds.

“Hey baby!”aurora’s voice called from the stairs…

‘did she just call me baby? I can’t even remember the last time she called me that… not like I missed it anyways.’ Bryan wondered

She shocked him by running down the stairs and jumping on him, she wrapped her legs round his torso and hugged him tight

“I’ve been waiting for your return”she said. He was too shocked to say a word

“Baby…”she looked into his eyes searchingly

“Is anything wrong?”she asked and Bryan blinked uncontrollably as he pushed her down trying to be as gentle as he can

“Yes something’s wrong, and that is you behaving weird”he said

“So being like a good wife is now behaving weird?”she asked

“Yes because it doesn’t suit you… continue behaving like a b***h it suits you better”he said and was about walking away when aurora pretended to be in tears

 

“I realized that I’ve been a bad wife to you and a bad mother to our child… I’m here trying to fix it and all you can say is being a b***h suits me better?”she said making him stop halfway and she walked up to him

“Just look at me baby… everybody changes, please give me a chance to prove that I’ve changed please”she cried even more

“You’ve been so callous to your own daughter”he said

“Yes…yes I know, that’s why i need you to give me a chance. With your help, i’ll be able to straighten things with her please”

“I’m doing this for my daughter ok…if it were just us two,I personally think you’re not part of the everyone that change touches” he said and walked away while aurora stood smiling in fulfilment. She knows how much Bryan loves their daughter so she plans gaining his trust through hiah so he won’t suspect anything until she’s done wrecking their family boat.
