Later that day.

 

At Daniel’s house.

 

Chicago: 1800hours.

 

Mrs Daniel haven’t seen her daughter home. Dora is used to be returning home by cab but have things change now at all.

 

She run outside to meet the driver, meeting him half away from the car

 

“Hey, come here.” Mrs Daniel said and he run off to her.

 

” You will have to drive to LS highschool to pick Dora up. She is suppose to be home by now” Mrs Daniel said sadly, the driver could sense she love her daughter

 

 

” Ma’am, she might wanna try something new today” the driver said.

 

Mrs Daniel changed her glances to the driver.

 

” What do you mean?” Mrs Daniel requested and then gate went opened as the car drove in. Mr Daniel alighted down from the car.

 

” Darling what is happening?” Mr Daniel asked, looking at the driver. Hoping he must have missed some action.

 

” Actually, Dora isn’t back home from school” Mrs Daniel said, worriedly as her hands dropped down.

 

“What?, What is really happening now? You went to her school in the morning.did she really do something wrong? ” Mr Daniel asked, looking at his wife.

 

” Yeah, I found out she is dating some less serious guy. And the guy is as poor as church rat. The badman want our lovely daughter when she isn’t yet mature. I don’t even like what is gonna be. I blamed the two of them for such relationship” Mrs Daniel said, tryna expressing herself.

 

” Meet me in the room, mxm snd you get to her school and tell her dad is waiting for her at home. She is not really a strong girl. She loose hope too soon. So, just get there and use a lovely words to her to make her home” Mr Daniel said and walked into the house.

 

The driver entered the car and drove away, then Mrs Daniel walked into the house.

Five minutes later.

 

“Darling what is happening? You said you wanna see me and ma here” she said.

 

” I want good relation with my daughter.! You treating her like that will make her hate you. When you see such case you should know how to tolerate with it and when she returned home then you could do anything you want. Talking to her friend in front of her is just too bad” Mr Daniel blamed his wife.

 

” So, you are blaming me? Do you want her to get unwanted pregnancy to some wretched poor boy. See I don’t care how much she want him. I’ll never support that. I’ll never be in support of such bad word. Am all after her happiness and good news if she won’t give up so soon I won’t too”

 

” Listen, if anything happens to my daughter, you have yourself blame for it cuz you know how desperate I was when I have no child. Now that I have one. I’ll never allow you make her live in hell. She is good enough to make the decision of whom she wanna make friends with. She’s strong and good senses girl that grab things easily” Mr Daniel screened the view.

 

” Oh, which sense does that one have? She is too young. Just too young to make a decision to herself. See I’ll never allow any irrelevant thing distract her from learning” Mrs Daniel yelled back.

 

” Learning isn’t a distracted so easily except she want it. Making friend with the guy might have been the best. The best anyone could even imagine, I’ll find out of the boy. Maybe he is really a bad guy or some cool guy. And I’ll check his education standards then will then make how to compare it with whom is distracting the other. Maybe it was your daughter or him, I’ll find out. Trust me” he said and went into his room.

 

” Why was he really taking the back of someone he haven’t seen. Am pretty sure he is responsible for the back luck of our daughter no girl make w love mate with her age and still live on with peace because they will always want to be around themselves even God know am trying to save this girl” she said to herself.

Somewhere.

 

Jane and Dora kept walking to where they didn’t even know about.

 

” Dora, you have to stop. Go home I can’t just leave you here” Jane said.

 

” I’ll never leave Jane. Until he say a word to me” Dora uttered out.

 

” But he is not here” Jane muttered under her breath.

 

” I know. I don’t want to see mother again. She is just a bad luck. I almost got his full attention when she interfere” Dora said.

 

” She is still your mom” Jane fired back.

 

” If she is still. She would have understood her daughter so much. I don’t know what is wrong when they get married to rich people. They always feel they own the world. She is just getting me angry. She want me to date someone rich. If she found me with someone rich she won’t have reacted the way she did” Dora yelled out.

 

” Calm down, she still your mother. Don’t talk bad about her” Jane said.

 

“She started it. I don’t care what happened next.” Dora said

 

“Then, follow me home. You will be safe with me.” Jane retorted back.

 

“Yeah, let go now.” Dora uttered out, as they turned their direction.

At the school gate, the driver stopped the car. The school have already closed for the day. No student were in the school. He walked toward the security

 

“Good evening,” He said

 

“Evening how may I help you.” The security man asked.

 

“Sir, am sent here to pick Dora Daniel.” He said.

 

“By this time, maybe she have found another way home” the security man retorted back to him

 

“Darn!, She is not yet home. Luke how many minutes have the school closed?” He asked.

 

” Two hours ago. She should be home” the security man said.

 

” Isn’t childish. Thank you Mr” the driver said and drive away home.
