Chapter 30

“Kadence” Khalil said for the uptenth time while looking at the picture Reina took of her.

“She’s pretty. Hmm…Guillermo sure has a good taste for women” Khalil smiled, sitting on a chair in his room while some maids massaged his back and shoulders.

“Reina” Khalil called.

“Yes your highness” Reina replied laying down on bed with the sheets wrapped round her body. Immediately after the vampire left, they had a passionate moment together.

“I want you to forget that the idea of monitoring the supernatural. I want you to monitor this girl. Later, I need you bring Zara here. She must know something of her sister” Khalil said.

“Sure your highness” Reina replied.

“Leave” Khalil said, referring to the maids.

They stopped what they were doing and bowed before leaving the room, closing the door behind them.

Khalil stood up and walked back to Reina who was sitting on the bed. His hands crawled under the sheets and he caressed her thighs moving up to that sensitive area in between…

“You’re just too sweet” He whispered and kissed her shoulder.

Reina closed her eyes savoring the moment.

“I’m yours Khalil..”She moaned out.

Khalil smirked and looked at her.

“Calling me by my name, how disrespectful. You deserve a punishment” Khalil smirked.

He dipped his hands in her hair then pulled her closer before claiming her lips, making her lay back down on bed…

“If three wishes were to be granted to you, what will that be?” Lisa asked to Romeo.

They were taking across the school’s hallway.

“Well my first wish will be to bring back my parents to live” Romeo said kinda sadly though.

“Your parents?” Lisa furrowed her brows.

“Yeah. They were killed when I was 13, by a group of vampires who attacked out area. Ever since then I’ve been living with my uncle and aunt” Romeo replied.

Lisa held his hand and rubbed it soothingly.

“Sorry about that” She said looking intently in his eyes.

Romeo smiled and held her hand tightly then kissed it.

“No worries, I’m over it though sometimes i do miss them but well,,, there’s nothing we can do” Romeo said.

Lisa nodded. They continued their walk like that…

“Your second wish?” She asked.

“Well I’ll want the demons to be extinguished without any exception” Romeo said.

“Me too” Lisa added.

“And my last wish will be,,” Romeo made a thinking face. He turned and faced Lisa then held her hand.

“My third wish will be for you to accept to be my girlfriend” Romeo said.

Lisa furrowed her brows and looked at Romeo confusedly. She suddenly laughed really hard and then crawled her hand behind Romeo’s neck.

“I thought we were already dating” She smiled

“Of course I’ll gladly accept to be your girlfriend. I love you too Romeo, just don’t break my heart” Lisa said seriously.

Romeo held her waist and smiled sweetly at her.

“I’ll never do anything to make you angry or sad. I promise to protect you with my life if need arise. Love you so much Lisa” Romeo said.

He cupped her cheeks and started leaning closer to her. Her eyes went shut, impatiently waiting to have his lips on her.

The long awaited moment finally came to pass when Romeo pressed his lips on hers, kissing her tenderly.

Lisa caressed his cheek, kissing him back too. He slipped his tongue in her mouth, sucking on her tongue occasionally pulling her more closer.

Sophia smiled while looking at them. She felt hands on her stomach…

“Instead of looking at them, let’s go spend some time together” Connor smiled and swept her feet from the floor.

He carried her in a bridal style out of the place.

DEMON KINGDOM**

“Greetings your highness”

“Welcome back crowned prince”

The maids greeted as Liam walked pass them heading to the throne room. He walked in and saw king Rhys sitting on his throne while discussing with Lorenzo.

They immediately stopped their discussion when they saw him.

“Greetings your majesty” Liam bowed slightly…

King Rhys looked at him for a while before forcing a smile.

“Stand son” He smiled.

Liam stood and looked at him…

“What brings you here?” He asked.

“Father…I…”He paused, not knowing how to break the news to him.

“Father…I…I…I quit!” He dropped the bombshell.

Rhys frowned not understanding what he means by that. Well he kinda understands but he hopes it’s not it.

“You quit? What do you quit?” Rhys asked.

“Everything! I quit this st*pid mission, i quit this life, I quit the crown too. I want to live normally for once in my life, I want to he happy” Liam said.

“Please dad, just let me go and live a normal life in earth” Liam added.

The anger king Rhys was containing in him slowly surfaced.

“You are not going anywhere” He said angrily, even the sculptures in the room were shaking.

“I’m quitting, with or without your permission. I’m sorry, I’m sure Khalil will be a better king than I ever will be” Liam said and turned then began walking away.

“It’s because of that girl right?” King Rhys suddenly said. Thay made Liam stop on his track.

He turned to Rhys with a surprised look on his face. King Rhys smirked, so he was right.

“Because of a girl you’re ready to quit evberything i worked so hard for you” King Rhys added.

“She’s not just a girl, she’s my source of breath. The girl of my dream, my queen” Liam said fondly.

“Look at what love has made you become, a weakling. You are not going to ruin my plans!!” King Rhys flared up.

“I told you I don’t care!”

Liam began walking to the exit…

“Just walk out of here and you’ll see what I’ll do to her” Rhys threatened him.

Liam swiftly turned to king Rhys with a warning glare on his face.

“Don’t you dare touch a single hair of Kadence. I’m warning you! I’m also ready to ki*ll for her no matter who it is” Liam said and turned to leave.

Lorenzo appeared in front of him with his usual cold expression.

“Get out of my way. I don’t wanna hurt you” Liam said seriously.

Lorenzo paid deaf ear and made to attack Liam. Liam blocked his attack…

“I won’t let anyone ruin the King’s plan no even you” Lorenzo said and began fighting him.

The mark in Liam’s right arm shun brightly like it was fire. The power emanating from him slightly pushed Lorenzo away from him.

He looked angrily at Lorenzo with his pitch black eyes. He raised his hand at Lorenzo and before Lorenzo could make a move, his body exploded, his blood splattering round the area.

Liam looked back at Rhys who had his fist clenched in anger. He looked front again before walking out of the throne room.

On his way out, he met Khalil who was coming out of his room. Khalil was surprised to see Liam in his demon form, meaning that he was so angry.

“I love you brother but my love for you has a limit. Don’t mess with what’s mine” Liam said and vanished off…

Liam appeared by the school garden. That was were Kadence was.

She almost ran away in fear but stopped herself when she recognized it was Liam.

“Liam” She whispered. This was the first time seeing him this angry.

His eyes was pitch black and some black lines were traced from his eyes going upwards towards his ears. The tattoo on his right arm came out with black smoke emanating from it and also with his hairs down made him look really dangerous.

“Liam, what’s wrong?” Kadence said coming towards him.

“I’m just tired…I’m sick and tired of this cursed family of mine, I’m sick and tired of this f*cking powers. Why can’t I just be normal like you guys, why was I born in a world full of darkness? Why?!” Liam screamed tearfully. That made the wind to blow.

Kadence closed her eyes in order to avoid the sand from getting in her eyes. She opened it and looked back at Liam with worried eyes.

“Liam you have to calm down or else you’ll harm someone, please” Kadence said.

Liam closed his eyes then he inhaled and exhaled. The black tattoo started disappearing. His eyes came back to normal.

Kadence smiled and finally ran then hugged him. He looked at her wondering what he did that was so special for someone like Kadence to love him.

“I’m sorry you got to see my demon side. Where you scared?” He asked, rubbing her cheek with his hands.

“I was scared you harm someone. But wasn’t scared of you, I love you just the way you are” Kadence smiled and stood on her toes then kissed his nose.

Unknown to them that someone saw everything. Eric took a step back, unable to process what he just saw.

“Liam, Liam is…is the spy. He’s the black-cloaked demon. A demon! He played a fool out of us,he’s a traitor!!” Eric said, anger evident in his voice
