Episode 40

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Wait we just hit someone!” The person sitting to the truck driver shouted.

“Shît! I hope the person is still alive, why can’t he just face where he’s going to?” The truck driver said.

“This isn’t the right time to blame anyone, we need to know if the person is still alive,” the person said and they both rushed down from the truck.

“Jayden he’s not breathing again,” the truck driver said.

“What the fûck! Let’s take him to the hospital please” Jayden replied.

“But he’s not breathing again, so I don’t think there’s any need to take him to the hospital,” the truck driver said.

“Ray, did you have human feelings at all?” Jayden asked angrily.

“I don’t, but it’s obvious he’s not breathing again, it will be a waste of time if we take him to the hospital, he’s dèàd already!” Ray replied.

Jayden moved closer to Rowen and lift him up with all his power.

He carried him gently to the truck and drop him in one of the seats.

“Can you drive? Or you don’t know how to?” Jayden asked angrily.

“Okay, I’ll drive!” Jayden replied and get to the driver’s seat.

“We don’t even know any of his family,” Ray said.

“I’m with his phone, I prayed he has an emergency number on his phone” Jayden replied.

“Emergency number? I haven’t heard of that before” Ray replied.

“That’s because you aren’t a human,” Jayden said going through Rowen’s phone.

“He has, I will call them when the needs arise” Jayden replied.

“Can you teach me how to do it?” Ray asked. “Sure later!” Jayden replied.

“Now, I’ll stop driving if you didn’t teach me” Ray replied.

“Why are you so heartless?” Jayden replied. “I’m not heartless, just tell me and I’ll increase the speed!” Ray said.

“Okay, STEP 1

When your phone is locked, it normally shows enter a password. Under it, you will see an emergency. Click on the emergency, then you will see emergency information. Click on the emergency information (2 times) You will see a pencil icon on your extreme right, click on it to edit.

STEP 2

Then enter the contacts you want to save as emergency. You can put in as many contacts as possible but I advise you to save numbers of active people who know you very well (Family/friends).

Now these contacts you have saved can be called even when your phone is locked without entering your password.

To call a number under emergency, click on ‘Emergency Call’ and the numbers saved there will come up. You can call these numbers without unlocking the phone” Jayden said.

“Oh thanks, I’ll do it when I get to the house, and I’ll also teach people,” Ray said.

“Increase the speed now!” Jayden replied. “Stop ordering me around” Ray replied.

“You’re the one that hit the innocent guy, yet you don’t have any feelings,” Jayden said.

“I’m a Mafia prince, so you don’t expect me to have ones” Ray replied.

“And who’s arguing with you, after all, our mission is successful dad will be happy with us, so let’s is our time to sacrifice a soul,” Jayden said.

“Keep quiet, dad will be happy with you now me! I don’t even know the reason why dad loves you!” Ray said.

“Hey there’s an hospital there, let’s take him there,” Jayden said.

“Don’t order me around!” Ray replied.

“I’m sorry sir, drive inside the hospital” Jayden replied. Ray drove to the hospital and Jayden rushed out of the car.

He dragged Rowen out of the car and carried him to the hospital.

“What happened to him? He left here not too long” sapphire said.

“He was involved in an accident” Jayden replied.

Ray inserts his hand in his pocket and he keeps chewing his bubble gum out loud.

“Attend to him fast!” Jayden ordered and one the nurse rushed to bring a stretcher.

They placed him on the stretcher and stretched him to award.

“Jayden, can we go back now?” Ray asked. “No, we need to wait till he wakes up!” Jayden replied.

“What’s the meaning of this? Dad will be worried and I need to go to the club tonight,” Ray replied.

“Don’t worry I’ll call Dad” Jayden replied and walked out.

He dialed a number and the person pick up immediately.

“Son how was the operation!? I believe it’s fine” Come the person’s voice.

“Sure it’s Dad, but I’m not sure we are coming back tonight” Jayden replied.

“What happened!” The person replied.

“Ray hit someone so we are currently at the hospital!” Jayden replied.

“That îdîot was he drunk? I knew he will ruin everything Id he go alone, that was the reason why I asked you to go with him” the person replied.

“Dad it wasn’t his fault, try to appreciate him, he’s also a human” Jayden replied.

“His mother is a bàstard and that makes him less of a human, he’s no different from his mother, the only reason he’s still alive is you!” The person said.

“I don’t like this,” Jayden said.

“I know you don’t, but how are you going to do my goods?” The person asked.

“Ray will watch over it!” Jayden replied.

“You dare not try such, how can Ray watch over my goods? Did you want it to get stolen again?” The person yelled.

“Fine, we will both watch over it!” Jayden replied.

“This sounds great, take care of yourself,” the person said.

“Alright, Dad good night” Jayden replied.

“What did he say?” Ray asked. “He gave us the go-ahead!” Jayden replied.

Twenty minutes later.

“He’s stable now, but he’s not fine his chance of survival is 20/100,” the doctor said. “What the fûck!” Jayden replied.

“I told you that guy is a deàd guy, we just wasted our precious time,” Ray said and Jayden roll his eyes at him.

“What’s the solution?” Jayden asked.

“We need a blood donor first because he lost a lot of blood, we will know what’s next after the blood donor” The doctor replied.

“Can you use mine?” Jayden asked.

“We will have to test your blood,” the doctor said.

“I’m ready!” Jayden said and Ray open his mouth in shock.

He brought out a cigarette from his pocket.

“I hope you aren’t trying to smoke here sir? Because you can’t smoke here I’m very sorry” the doctor said.

“Screw you all! Including you Jayden” Ray said and put the cigarette back in his pocket.

“Ignore him, come and test me,” Jayden said and the doctor take him to the award.

Jayden came out some minutes later with a frown on his face

“My blood didn’t work” Jayden said.

“Maybe he should test mine” Ray replied. “Are you that dumb? Have you forgotten we are brothers?” Jayden asked.

“that’s true, but we aren’t from the same mother” Ray replied.

“Come with me then,” the doctor said.

“How dare you order me around!” Ray replied angrily.

“I’m very sorry sir, I don’t mean to get you angry” The doctor replied and Ray stood up.

Jayden clicked on Emergency Call and the numbers saved there will show up immediately.

He call one of the numbers and it happened to be Emma’s number.

Emma picked up the call immediately with a smile on her face.

“Rowen!” She said with a smile. “This isn’t Rowen, we need your attention in the hospital right away” Jayden replied.

“what happened to Rowen?” Emma asked and stood up from the bed immediately.

“I’ll advise you to come now” Jayden replied. “Which hospital please?” Emma asked.

“I’ll send the address to you right now!” Jayden replied and end the call.

“Why did you scream like that?” Brittany and Nadia asked.

“Rowen in the hospital!” Emma said with a shaking voice.

“Hospital? What’s he doing there?” Brittany asked.

“I don’t know but I don’t think he’s fine” Emma replied.

“What about Austin?” Brittany asked.

“I don’t know!” Emma replied and a message popped into Emma’s phone.

“He has sent the hospital address” Emma replied.

“Wait up, I’ll drive you,” Brittany said.

“Nadia please stay with Sophia,” Emma said and rushed out with Brittany.

“Ray, how is it?” Jayden asked immediately he saw Ray.

“My blood didn’t work, I just wasted my time with inside the ward” Ray replied and Jayden hissed out loud.

“What happened to Rowen?” Emma asked and rushed inside the hospital.

“Thank goodness you’re here, who are you to him?” Jayden asked.

“I’m his girlfriend, what happened to him?” Emma asked.

“Ask the doctor!” Ray replied and hissed out loud. “Come, Miss we need to test your blood we don’t have much time,” the doctor said.
