Chapter 48

Luna entered the room with a smile on her small lips. At the other side of the room, Wulfgur could be seen focused on a book. He raised his head up when he heard footsteps coming closer.
“My King.” Luna called.
“My Queen. Why are you here? Do you have anything to say to me?” Wulfgur answered as he stood up to meet Luna.

“Why? You do not want me here? I can’t come to see you?”
“No, My Queen. That’s not it. Why would i keep you from coming here? I only asked because you came here all of a sudden.”

Luna tried to read his face but she couldn’t. The King is really keeping something but doesn’t want to share it out. But…she knows about it.
“I understand. I just came to see you. To see how you’ve been fairing.” This time, she smiled sincerely.
“I’ve been doing good…and busy. Too much work to do, including our wedding.” Wulfgur stood behind Luna and hugged her. “I really can’t wait for you to be mine. I will make sure no one even try to hurt you. You don’t know what have been doing these days because of you.” He whispered to her ear and placed a small kiss on her earlobe. Luna heard her gown tight as she shivered.
“What have you been doing? Can you tell me? Even if it’s just a little.” Luna prayed for him to tell her everything he was keeping away from her.

“No, I won’t tell you. It’s a secret” He refused.
Luna sighed. Maybe there’s a reason for him to keep it. She’s going to understand him for that.
“It’s okay, if you’re not going to tell me. You must have a reason. Can we stay like this for sometime. I really missed you. Your warmness too.” Luna sniffed the air with a smile. His scent too which always overwhelmed her nose and sometimes makes her go crazy.

She’d fallen deeply in love with the King.
“I missed you too. I would have seen you always whenever i’m through with work but it is either i’m tired or another thing. Luna, you will understand soon. I want the best for you and the kingdom.” Wulfgur kissed her neck. “There’s just one thing I haven’t been able to say, these words since you’ve come back back to me as Luna.”
“Which is….?” With curiosity.

“I love you” Wulfgur answered and turned her to face him. He took a good look at her face until his eyes caught her lips. “Those tempting trembling lips of yours is driving me crazy now. I might not be able to leave them for a while. I will make sure i suck them till they become red and swollen.” Wulfgur smirked.
“My…King…” Luna was speechless. She didn’t know what to say again.

Wulfgur leaned down to her lips and sucked hard the lower one first which made Luna winced. He wasn’t joking.
“Easy with me.” She murmured.
“I won’t listen to you.” Then, he carried her to the table and continued.
