MARRIED TO THE OVERLORD.

 

CHAPTER FOURTEEN.

 

 

Lord Williams got really irritated and stood up unhurriedly while dropping the documents in his hand and immediately got into bed with Gabby who yelled in shock.

She wasn’t really expecting him to get in bed with her after everything she’d done to get him outta the room.

Williams pulled her closer and buried her face on his chest muffling her shouts.

Gabrielle was about to die with embarrassment and was trying everything she could to get away from him.

“Stop moving or you gonna regret it.” He said in between gritted teeth and she immediately stopped moving.

He stroked her hair gently and she was secretly enjoying every bit of it . Her eyelids are growing heavy and she wondered how a mafia’s touch could be this soothing.

“Can I ask you something?” Her curiosity was getting bigger.

“Eh.” He replied with his eyes closed.

“Why did you go through all that trouble to marry me? Do we know each other before? Or was it because of the said inheritance?.” She mumbled and tried not to fall asleep.

 

Williams hands froze in mid air for a split second and his eyes flew open.

A strange glint passed through his eyes quickly and was replaced with a cold smirk.

“What do you think?” He dug his fingers into her chestnut brown locks and kept playing with it ,

” I don’t know what to think because you’re way too mysterious.” this time Gabby couldn’t resist and immediately fell asleep with his hands around her.

Lord Williams got outta bed when he was sure she’d fallen asleep and walked outta the room and found Ross standing by the stairwell.

“Is everything ready?” He asked and Ross bow slightly.

“Yes boss Ray did sign the documents giving you full access his subsidiaries.” He briefed his boss.

Lord Williams walked towards his study with Ross trailing behind.

Once inside the study room Ross dropped another document Infront of him .

Williams took it was carefully examined the list of shipment secretly brought into the country.

“Ruger LCP Pistol,

Ruger LCR Pistol,

Glock 23 Handgun,

Glock G43 Handgun,

Smith & Wesson M&P,Charter Arms Bulldog,

The S&W Model 629,

North American Arms ,22 Long Rifle Mini Revolver. Are the top guns being shipped in my lord.” Ross furthermore explained the details while Lord flip through the pages and massaged his temple.

“Good job Ross, make sure to arrange a meeting with our buyers tell them it’s gonna an auction, also have George send out vvip invitations to all socialite.” He gave a few instructions before dismissing him and walked back to the master bedroom where he’d left his wife.

Gabrielle curled up in bed exposing her slender legs , the duvet cover was obviously thrown off her body.

Williams let out a soft chuckle and got in bed with this wife and pulled into his embrace, Gabrielle unconsciously snuggled closer.

“Bad kitty.” He whispered into her ear and she giggled in her sleep.

Argh!!!! Ray slammed his fist into the nearest pillar in anger.

“Can you stop doing that? Do you wanna bring the house on us?” Mrs Monica yelled angery and Ray turned to his annoying wife and glared fiercely at her.

“Shut the f**k up!” He cursed irritably and ran his fingers through his hair.

He didn’t wanna believe he lost right before he could even start.

That damn bas***d was gonna pay! He is gonna make Xavier Williams regret it.

“Don’t you dare raise your voice at me Ray! I know you’re obviously trying to anger your way through my questions. I really don’t wanna believe you stoop this low.” Mrs Monica wasn’t gonna let him off not after he tried to endanger the life of her child but unfortunately before she could utter any more words he slapped her across the face.

 

“Dad!” Anna screamed out in shock. Everyone including the servants were shocked to their wits for their master has never raised his hand on the madam.

Monica was beyond shock as she stared at him with teary eyes.

She couldn’t believe she was dinning and sleeping with a monster who is money thirsty.

Now she understands why her family had always been against her marriage to him.

Ray only realized what he’d done and tried to go close but she backed away in fear.

 

“Have always known you to be a greed man but I’ve never for once doubt why you got married to me. Thanks to you I finally got to see what you really look like behind all the facade.” She said and ran upstairs in tears.

 

“Dad! How could you hit mom like that?” Anna glared at her father as she begins to regret ever doing the things he wanted.

“Shut up and get outta my sight!” He growled angrily and Anna ran away in fright.
