Alexa’s p.o.v

White wall.

Everything was painted in just white.

That is what I woke up to see.

I wanted to stand up but I felt something in my wrist.

An IV?

So I am in the hospital then.

“Ahhh.” I half yelled when I felt pain in the side of my hip.

It looks like I was beaten.

I rubbed my hip as I tried to stand up regardless of the IV on my wrist.

As I tried to get up again, I succeeded this time.

But when I stepped my foot on the floor, my room door suddenly opened.

Some guys came in one after the other.

“What do you think you are doing lady?” Someone yelled at me.

I looked back and immediately recongzied the person who just shouted at me.

Oh my goodness!

What is he doing here?

How did I even get to this hospital?

I was at work earlier, in the manager office….

“Aahhh.” I screamed as Justin suddenly lifted me up and laid me back on the bed.

I looked at him as he pushed me back to the bed.

I tried to get up but couldn’t because he stopped me.

“What the hell?! Just let me go! I need to get out of here I have to go to work”

I can’t just stay here.

My manager is harsh, she might get me fired.

Where will I get another work?

Huh?

“You are not working there anymore. You will rest here until the doctor tells us you are already fine and ready to leave.”

Hmmmm…..

His voice is so nice to hear.

I stopped thinking and immediately shook my head.

“No. You can’t tell me to stop working. And I will leave when I want to. I am fine. I am not sick.”

Just then the doctor came in, smiling at me.

“Oh you are awake already. Thank goodness. Your husband was worried about you. ”

I glared at Justin but didn’t say anything.

“You need to rest. Avoid stress and heavy works for now. Your situation is a bit serious especially since you bleed earlier. Good thing your baby has a strong grip…”

I couldn’t understand what she was saying.

Baby?

Strong grip?

“Wait, what? Baby? Blood? Easy? Me?” Are you sure you aren’t mistaking me for another patient doc…? ” I asked looking confused.

“Really madam? You don’t know you are pregnant?” The doctor asked me.

“Pregnant? Me? Justin, I’m sure she is mistaken here because I’m not pregnant.” I faced Justin.

At least, if he wants me in an hospital, he shouldn’t let a mentally ill person treat me.

“Alexa, you don’t know that you are pregnant?” Busting questioned.

Oh I see.

This was planned.

“I’m not pregnant!”

The doctor sighed before picking a file from the table and gave it to me.

It was the hospital report.

I read it and it stated that I was two months pregnant.

I was shocked.

How can I be pregnant and I didn’t even know.

Then it clicked.

I haven’t seen my period for a while now.

The nervousness, the dizziness, the sudden loss of appetite….

It was all because of I was pregnant?

I didn’t know when a tear dropped from my eyes.

I am expecting a child.

I am pregnant with Justin child.
