Chapter 35

Wulfgur got home and lay Lun down on his bed.
“I thought I will lost you.” Wulfgur breathed heavily, staring deep into her eyes as she smiled.
The Palace had went back to normal and Ma Grace was more happier than anybody else in the Palace.
“I’m so glad you came back.” She told him.

“I’m sorry, I gave you so much trouble. Sorry for making you worry too much.” Lun replied and stretched out her hands to the King’s face. She brought his face near her and they were just an inch to each other, both breathing in the same air.

“You have beautiful eyes.” Wulfgur whispered.
“And you have a handsome face that I can’t take my eyes off.” Lun responded.
Wulfgur chuckled and kissed her forehead. Before bringing his lips to her mouth mouth and kissed her passionately. Throughout the kiss, he thought of never leaving Lun’s side. He will always protect her and do anything for her. He will love and care for her. And he will ki*ll any enemies trying to hurt his mate. He love her and he wish she will love him like the way he does.
They broke the kiss and stared at each other for some seconds. Wulfgur pecked her cheeks before standing up from the bed.

“Are you going somewhere?” Lun blinked, standing up from the bed too.
She is now healthy and not feeling any pain either.
“Yes, I will be back. You can take care of my room.” He smiled at her and walked out of the room.
Lun sighed and lay down back and removed the wig, letting down her white hair down.
She heard a knock and doubted that it was the King. She put on the wig back and went to open the door. It was one of the royal army? Yes, he is. He dressed like one of them.

“Yes?” Lun knitted her brows. “The king isn’t here. You can come back later.” She added.
“I know. Just wanted to check on you. Been a while I’ve seen you.” The royal guard smiled and Lun Lun knew something was off. She could tell that was a mischievous smile. Why was he the only one who came to check on her and how did he know she was here?
“Oh! Thank you. Thanks for caring.” She returned the smile immediately.

“Are you getting old all of a sudden? I can see some white strands of hair under this very brown hair.” His lips twitched.
F*ck! How did he see it? She didn’t cover her hair well with the wig. And why is this guy been so mysterious and cunning?
“Yes. I do have white hair mixed with my brown hair. You know men of these days.” Lun answered with a chuckled.

“oh that’s it! I just wanted to check on you! Have a nice day and don’t tell the king I’m here.” He told her before leaving with a smirk.

Lun released the breath she’s been holding, closed the door and sat on the King’s bed.
She was surely going to tell the king about it.
Soon, Wulfgur came back in and met her thinking.
He walked over to her and said to her, “I’m informed that one of the hunters is within the Palace. You should be careful.”
Lun snapped her head up right away. “I..I think one of them came here and start talking cunningly. He might be the one.”

 

“Do you recognize his face?”
“No, he was wearing a helmet like it’s time for war. I can’t see his face clearly.”
Wulfgur closed his eyes and opened them back.
“Fredrick’s successor is about to strike and really want something that could weak me. The people I love and care for are my weakness.” He muttered with a serious. “He won’t win.”
