“Sweetheart!” Nathan replied and rushed to hug the lady.

“Bûll shît!” Adele said and stood up immediately, she picked her bag and was about to walk out.

Nathan rushed to her and hold her hand. “Where are you going to?” Nathan asked.

“I’m going back to the house of course, you can’t keep me here and be flirting with another lady” Adele said.

“Oh I have forgotten that my girlfriend is a jèàlóûs person, I’m sorry, she’s my high school friend” Nathan replied.

“Sweet, who’s she?” The lady asked.

“She’s Adele my girlfriend” Nathan introduce. “Oh I never knew to now have a girlfriend, I came back for you, anyway nice meeting you” the lady said and bring her hand forward for a handshake.

Adele look at her hand feeling reluctant to shake her back, the lady was about to drag her hand back before Adele shake her.

“I’m Adele!” Adele said with a fake smile, but it wasn’t too obvious.

“I’m Blessing,” the lady said with a smile showing off her teeth.

“Blessing, that name sounds weird” Adele replied.

“She’s a Nigeria girl” Nathan replied and drag Adele to herself.

“Nigeria? What’s that?” Adele asked.

“Don’t tell me you don’t know Nigeria?” Nathan asked.

“I don’t, what’s Nigeria?” Adele asked.

“Nigeria is a country” Blessing replied with a smile.

“A country, I have never heard that before, this is my first time of hearing such” Adele replied.

“You will like to use your Google my dear!” Nathan said.

“I think I need it because I’m totally lost here” Adele replied.

“So how have you been? I thought you aren’t gonna come back to Chicago?” Nathan asked.

“Actually I came back because of you and I lost dad last year” Blessing said.

“Hey baby, let’s go and sit down, and you Blessing,” Nathan said.

“Is it God blessing or what?” Adele asked and Blessing and Nathan burst into laughter.

“What’s funny?” Adele asked.

“You’re funny my dear” Blessing replied. “Should I just stand up and go!” Adele said with a frown.

“No baby we are sorry” Nathan replied.

“You’re looking more handsome,” Blessing said touching Nathan face with a smile plastered on her face.

“Yes I know,” Nathan replied with a smirk. “Picture do deceive, you’re more handsome now compare to your pictures I saw on Instagram” blessing said and Adele keep hitting her leg on the floor angrily.

“I thought you always said I’m not handsome?” Nathan asked.

“I was only lying to you” blessing replied.

“I thought he doesn’t like talking too much?” Adele asked herself.

“You might be wondering why I’m free with her?” Nathan asked and Adele nod her head.

“That’s because she was my best friend, right from childhood” Nathan said and Adele muttered an oh.

“Can we leave now?” Adele asked feeling uncomfortable.

“You can leave, he will come to meet you in the house,” blessing said and Adele look into Nathan house.

“No we can’t, I came here for a date, blessing just give me your contact” Nathan said.

“Oh alright then” Blessing replied feeling unhappy.

“I’ll call you later” Nathan said and Blessing stood up from the chair.

“I’ll be expecting your call” Blessing replied. She moved closer to Nathan and peck him on his cheek and Adele look away immediately.

“Bye Miss Adele” blessing said before walking away and Adele nod her head in reply.

“I’m sorry” Nathan said looking at her face.

“Sorry for what?” Adele replied and stood up. “Where are you going to?” Nathan asked.

“To the house, or did you have a problem with that?” Adele asked.

“No but we haven’t even spent up to am hour” Nathan replied.

“You ruin our date” Adele replied.

“How? She’s just a friend, she mean no harm” Nathan replied.

“I know, she’s your childhood friend so follow her” Adele said.

“It’s not what you think I don’t have any feelings for her, she’s just a friend” Nathan said with a frown.

“I know and I didn’t argue with you” Adele replied and walked out.

“Geez! Did she expect me to ignore Blessing?” Nathan asked hiself and ran after her.

“Baby I’m sorry!” Nathan pledged and Adele stopped a cab immediately.

“Hey don’t carry her!” Nathan said to the cab man.

“Just let me be Nathan, go back to your nige…. Whatever, go back to your friend” Adele replied.

“Am sorry, I can’t ignore Blessing, Blessing isn’t someone that I can ignore” Nathan replied.

“And when did I tell you to ignore her, both of you are playing lovey-dovey there, passersby will even mistake you guys for couple, and I must say you guys look good together” Adele said and Nathan signal the cab man to leave.

Nathan moved closer to Adele and hug her tight to hiself.

“I’m sorry, I’ll never make you jèàlóûs again” Nathan said and Adele sniff out tears.

“Am I forgiven?” Nathan asked and Adele nod her head.

“I never knew you are this Jealous” Nathan said with a smile.

“You guys made me jealous, just look at how she was touching you” Adele said.

“She meant no harm” Nathan said.

“She made mentioned of something” Adele said.

“What’s that?” Nathan asked.

“She said, she comes back for you, are you guys lover before because I don’t get, and her mood changed immediately, you introduced me to get as your girlfriend,” Adele said.

“It’s not what you think, i don’t think, she came back for us to date” Nathan said.

“How sure are you?” Adele asked with a frown. “I once asked her out, when we are in highschool and she turned me down politely, she said her father won’t allow her to marry me” Nathan said.

“But she said her father is dèad” Adele said. “Don’t think too much about it, don’t let that to ruin our date” Nathan replied.
