Lun sighed seeing that she was left alone again. She sat down on the couch and looked around the house.
“I hope you’re alright, My King. Please, don’t do anything harsh.” She mumbled and lay down.

“What did you just say? Didn’t Wulfgur know that what he did was risky? Ah! Gosh! Where’s the girl now?” Luciano asked, panting heavily as he ran around the whole world.
They were just in front of the Palace gate.
“He brought her to my place.” Thanos answered.
Luciano palmed his face and tapped Thanos. “Let’s just enter. We need to help him not to get arrested by the Jade Emperor’s men.” He said.
The two gods entered the palace and met the emperors still dining and wining. Fools! Luciano scoffed.

Thanos was the first to sight Wulfgur among the guards of Jade Emperor. “That’s him over there.” He pointed at him for Luciano to see.

They moved close to him and looked around before speaking. The guards had stop searching.
“Wulfgur!” Luciano called and he looked back.
“What is it? Why are you here?” Wulfgur came to meet them. “Where’s Lun?” He turned to Thanos.

“She’s at my house.” He whispered.
“How can you leave her alone?”

“I’m sure you brought her to me because you know she’s safe there.”

“Because she’s safe with you. Not the house.” Wulfgur frowned.

“My house is me. So, don’t worry, she’s safe.” Thanos assured him.

“So, what’s going on right now? What are the Jade Emperor’s guard saying? Are they going back? At least they didn’t find your mate.” Luciano smiled.

“They are going back. But those damn fools are still suspecting” Wulfgur responded. He looked at the other side and saw the guards talking to some emperors. Were they the ones who called them here?

“Suspecting about what? That you made Lun escape?” Luciano guessed.

“Yes. That’s it. But still, I want Lun to stay with you till everything here is settle. Maybe after two days, I will be sending her to the beast kingdom for a while. I can only visit her when I teleport and……..”

“And you don’t want to keep using your powers because you don’t want it?!” Thanos finished it for him.

“Yeah, I guess so. But still, I’m going to visit her almost everyday.” Wulfgur stated and saw the guards coming.

“It won’t be good if Zeus get hold of her. She will be sacrificed just for that Orb to come out. Except…….” Thanos paused.

“I already know that. And I don’t think she belongs to any clan. She’s human for God’s sake. I can’t even watch her to get sacrifice right in front of me. It’s a tragedy” Wulfgur shook his head when he thought of his mate being killed.
He won’t get himself and probably will end up dying too.

“Don’t think too much. This love, huh? Anyway, everything will be okay. They will….f*ck they are even coming here. ” Luciano gulped as they got to them.
He wasn’t scared of the guards though.
“King Emperor,” The head guard called and bowed down. “We are sorry for barging into your palace to search for nothing. We will report back to the Jade Emperor now that we found nothing. Thank you.” The head guard said while Wulfgur scoffed.

“You can go. As you can see we are having a annual party. You can stay if you want to join us. You’ve found nothing even with those big noses of yours.” Wulfgur mocked.
Thanos and Luciano chuckled secretly at that.

“We are very sorry. We can’t stay. We have to leave now.” The guards bowed again and left completely.

“Wow! Now that they are gone. We need to talk about something serious.” Luciano sighed. “It’s about you, Wulfgur.” He added.

“What’s about me?”

“I know where Selene stays now. We talked and while we were doing that, she calling for me. or should I say she’s calling for my scent. Death.”

“You mean she’s calling for death? Is she that sick?” Wulfgur palmed her face.

“Yes, she will die soon. I will say she has less that two weeks to stay alive.” Luciano replied. “I think you should see her before it’s too late.”

“And get half of your immortality back. Or whatever you gave her.” Thanos snorted.

“You gave her half………and she’s about to die? Why didn’t she live long?” Luciano tilted his head.

“I don’t know. And that’s why I want it back before she dies.”

“And why would you give……oh because of Mena? Lun? I see. Just hurry up before it’s gets too late.” Luciano patted the King’s shoulder.

“We can go tomorrow. Let’s do that.” Thanos suggested.

“Yes. I will get prepared tomorrow.”
Will everything really be settled just like that tomorrow?
