Melissa nodded and went back to her seat, suddenly, her phone began to ring and she answered it immediately.

The phone was suddenly snatched from her hands, ofcourse it was Tyler who took it, he placed it near his ears waiting for the sick old fool to speak.

📞I just called to warn you Melissa Sanchez, to stay away from Tyler Drake, divorce him and I will come get you or else…if I get to you quickly, I will teach you a lesson and ki*ll your lovely husband.

Tyler just ended the call and dropped the phone on the table.
Melissa’s hand was clenched beside her, hasn’t this old fool done enough to her, why is he still thirsty or hungry to shed her blood.

“Melissa…..”Tyler trailed off and pulled her into a hug, for some moment, he knew this and wasn’t lying, he doesn’t want her to leave or divorce him.
Though he has been using her in the beginning but this was true.

“Who is that man?”Tyler asked and Melissa bit her lower lips “I was once thought he was my father but I found out that he wasn’t”

“Do you know who your father is then?, Because I heard him call you Melissa Sanchez”Tyler said and Melissa stared at him.
“Even though I want to know who my real father is, I don’t want to come close to him because he might hate me for what I have become”Melissa said, one could tell she was breaking but she had to cover it with a short laugh.

“No, he is the person that should be afraid to show his face to you”Tyler said and Melissa frowned.

“Why?”Melissa asked.
“Because he didn’t rescue you from that place or tried to get you out….you became who you are now because of the influence of that old man so it isn’t your fault”Tyler said trying to make her feel better and it really helped.

“Thanks, but I hope your not trying to….
“Am not okay”Tyler raised up his hand in a I surrender manner.
“Great”Melissa nodded and typed on her keyboard furiously.

Melissa was scrolling down the internet when she saw a news, it was a news of the death of Betty and another red haired girl.

But it seems like she knows this girl from somewhere but from where?
“Wait…. isn’t this caleb’s younger sister?”Melissa used her hands to cover her mouth in shock.
Betty was dead also?, How come?

“Tyler, look at this”Melissa showed him the news and he stopped what he was doing.
“What??”Tyler eyes widened, the same Betty he sent to trick lan is the one rumored to be dead!!!.

“I will be right back”Melissa said grabbing her purse but Tyler stopped her by holding her hand.
“Where are you going hmm?”Tyler asked
“To Caleb’s home, he may be hurting right now, his little sister is the one that died next to Betty”Melissa explained.

“Can’t you cancel the meeting for later?”Tyler said.
“No, am the only friend that can stop him from doing something crazy or killing someone out of anger and sadness”Melissa said.
“Can’t another person do this, doesn’t he have parents?,I…..
“Are you trying to stop me from going?”Melissa lowered her eyes and glared at him.

“Fine, you can go”Tyler said
“But I don’t trust that Caleb, I don’t like you staying with him, I will rather take you there”Tyler added staring at Betty’s picture sadly.

“No, just stay here”Melissa said.
“I will take you and that’s final”Tyler said grabbing his car key and they walked away.

💦AT CALEB’S MANSION💦

Melissa came down and tyler packed the car before ringing the bell.
The security guard opened the gate, when he saw Melissa, he bowed and opened the door for her to come in.

They came in, Tyler was about to follow melissa to enter but Melissa stopped him making him to raise his eyebrow in confusion.

“Please,just wait here okay?, Please…”Melissa said.
“I can’t leave you with that b@stard”Tyler growled.

“Your acting like you know him so well, I know Caleb, he isn’t going to hurt me”Melissa said.
“If he hurt you, I wouldn’t forgive him, I will be waiting outside then”Tyler said and Melissa closed the door.

Melissa walked in to see Caleb at the bar counter, drinking crazily.
“I knew something like this would happen”Melissa said and walked towards him and with full force, snatching the bottle away from him and throwing it on the floor.

“Caleb, I understand your pain right now but….you need to stop doing this to yourself, you think wherever Suzy is, that she will be happy with you”Melissa said and Caleb stood up coughing.

“Are you okay?, I will get water for you?”Melissa said running towards the kitchen but Caleb dragged her by the hand and pushed her to the couch climbing on top of her.

Melissa’s eyes widened as she pushed Caleb off her but he wasn’t bulging, so what she did is to kick him on his d**k making him to fall on the floor in pain.

“I can’t believe you!”Melissa yelled and ran towards the door, more like 30 guards lined in front of the door, more and more of Caleb’s guard circled her…though she is very good at fighting but she knows that she can’t take them off only her.

“Women are really stubborn and stupid, your husband warned you to stay away from me but you refused, your husband loves you and you love him too…(hiccups), no one loves me”Caleb laughed and Melissa attacked one of the guards and others attacked at once.

She isn’t with any bodyguard..damn.
One of them hit a flower vase on her head and she felt her eyes began to turn slowly but she didn’t fall, she held herself but was pushed to the couch with the guards holding Melissa’s hands and legs and also covering her mouth.

“Ugnfd…ishgx”She tried talking but couldn’t because of they covered her mouth.
She could heard the ruffles of his belt and then he tore half of her gown showing half of her cl3avages.

Then she felt him being dragged out of her, it was Tyler, he took down all the guards there before facing Caleb.

“How (punch) dare (punch) you (punch…punch), touch my wife…you animal!”Tyler yelled as he gave a final kick that made him (Caleb) to hit his head on the glass table drawing blood but Tyler didn’t look bothered.

Tyler grabbed Melissa in a bridal style and walked out of the mansion to his car, he dropped her there angrily and sat on the driver’s seat.
“I warned you Melissa but it seems like you don’t trust me after that incident, I thought I already apologized”Tyler yelled glaring at her.

“Am sorry”Melissa said, tears rolling down her eyes as she tried to fix her gown properly.

“What would happen, if I had come some minutes late huh?, He could probably have….”Tyler trailed off and clenched his fist.

“You know what?…. let’s go home first”Tyler said and pulled her towards the car in anger.

An old man could be seen smoking cigarettes and laughing crazily, he had a picture on top of a wooden table.
It was a picture of Melissa when she saw 14 years old, she looked sad in the picture….

He grabbed the picture and burned the picture into ashes with his cigarette then he grabbed another picture which was Tyler….when he was 16.

He did same to Tyler’s pic as well and laughed evilly.
“That’s the way I will end both of you”He laughed.
