The car stopped in front of a hotel. Angela looked out and ached her brow then looked back at Jackson.

“Where are we?” Angela asked…

“Well this is simply a small party between CEO in the country, of course they are expected to be accompanied so I decided to come with my wife” He replied with a smile.

“Aww you’re so sweet” She said and pecked his cheek.

The driver came and opened the door for them. Jackson came out of the car and as soon as he stepped foot out of the car, all eyes turned to him. He stretched his hand forward and a woman took it then came out of the car, revealing a very gorgeous woman

Angela held Jackson arm and they walked the red carpet.

*Look at that, ohmy…Our prince is so dashing today

*Who’s that woman beside him, she so beautiful

*I hope she’s single, I’m gonna try my luck with her

*They look good together though.

Those were the comments they received as they walked into the hall. All thanks to Stella, Angela can act and talk casually.

Jackson guided her to some other CEOs and they began discussing…

Angela looked at a corner and saw Theodore present, he was sitting dejectedly at one corner…

“Jack”

“Yes love” He said and looked at her

“I’ll leave you for some minutes. Be right back” She said.

“Alright” He replied and pecked her cheek infront of the whole hall which made her blush.

She released him and walked towards Theodore. Theodore stared at her as he saw her walking to him.

“Theo” She said as she reached where he was.

“Ela, you look beautiful” He replied with slight smile.

“Thanks, how did it go…You know between you and Nina” Angela asked.

“Well she asked me to stay away from her and give her some space” He replied and sighed…

“Alright if she said that, then that means she has forgiven you. Why are you like this?” She asked.

“Well I don’t feel to easy being away from her, I’m just having a bad feeling” He replied…

“Angela?” Jackson called as he walked up to them.

Theodore looked up, then looked away in guilt.

Jackson walked up to his brother and looked at him for some time….

“Do you love my wife?” Jackson asked.

Theodore thought for some time and shook his head.

“No, I think it was lust” He said.

Jackson smiled..

“Good, because I’m the only one allowed to love her” He said with a smirk

Theodore was still looking away.

Jackson held his shoulder and smiled then ruffled his hair like he was a kid.

“Come on brother, I forgive you. But never you dare try that again” He said with a smile.

Theodore nodded, fighting back her tears.

“Come on, don’t tell me you’re about to cry. You’re such a crybaby” He said and hugged him.

Theodore hugged him back too.

“Thanks for forgiving me. A brother like you is rare” He said on his shoulder.

Jackson simply smiled and broke the hug.

“See you around” He said and walked away with Angela.

The music began playing and he began dancing with Angela in his arms..

“So tell me more about you? You’re past life” Angela asked.

“Well I have a very normal life, was quite boring at one point then something happened. To cut it shot, I caught my ex cheating on me.” He said as they swayed to the rhythm of the music.

Angela frown deeply…

“Did you two went intimate?” She asked.

Jackson chuckled…

“You’re unbelievable. Can’t believe you’re jealous right now” He said.

“Why shouldn’t I. Don’t tell me she caressed your chest and also kissed you” She asked in jealousy.

“You look cute when jealous” He diverted their discussion. Honestly he didn’t want to talk about her.

They left the dance floor and walked to a table for two. A waiter walked up to them.

“Please let us know what you would like to have your majesty” He said.

“Just champagne will do” He replied.

“Same here” Angela said.

They were served the drinks and they began sipping slowly on it. They saw Theodore run out of the hall, almost flying…

“I wonder what’s wrong?” Jackson said looking at the door Theodore walked through

Theodore boarded his car and drove madly to the hospital owned by his father.

He just received a call that Nina was run through by a truck and now she’s in critical condition.

He drove and parked his car carelessly then came out of it feeling very guilty. If something happens to Nina then it’s entirely his fault.

He walked up to a nurse…

“Where’s Nina Gracia?” He asked breathless.

“She’s currently in the operating room. Room 246” The nurse replied.

He walked to the indicated room and made to enter but was obstructed by a doctor.

“Your majesty, he’s still under operation. Please be patient” He said.

“How did all this happen?” He asked.

“Well we received a call from a street not far from here so we sent an ambulance there. She was picked up and brought here, the commoners who were present said her name is Nina. She kept calling your name even in her unconscious state so we thought of calling you” The doctor explained.

Theodore sighed and swept his hair backwards with his finger. He sat down on a seat deep in thought.

He thought of calling Angela but he didn’t want to ruin their night. He has already ruined so many things for them, he won’t want to ruin this one…

He didn’t know when he slept of on the seat. After some few minutes, he was woken up by the sound of the door opening.

He spranged and walked to the doctor.

“Doc, how is she?” He asked.

“Well her condition I stable now. She hit her head hard during the fall which made her loose a lot of blood but now she will be fine since blood is been transfused into her body. She will only suffer some body aches, apart from that she’s fine” The doctor said.

Theodore sighed in relief.

“Can I see her?” He asked.

“Not now, she’ll be transfered to her ward. There you can see her” The doctor said.

Theodore nodded and ordered them to transfer her in the VIP sector. She was transfered per his order.

He entered her ward and walked up to her bed then sat down beside her. He held her hand and kissed it then patted her hair.

Now that he observe her closely she’s really beautiful. From her pink small lips to her red cheek which had brown speckles on them to her long lashes and finally her cute nose.

“I’m so sorry. It’s because of me that you’re here on this bed” He said and kissed back her hands.

The party has almost ended and it was time for the crowned prince to say his speech.

Jackson left Angela and then walked up stage as the people clapped for him. He smiled at Angela who also mirrored his smile…

“Greetings ladies and gentlemen. We’re now at the end of this party. Honestly it was exquisite from the beginning till the end. A great bravo for making it success” He said and the people clapped for him.

“I also have something to say or more specifically something to show to someone dear to me.”

“Angel, I want to first of start by thanking you for making my once boring life more lively. Thanks for coming into my life, its true we didn’t meet in great circumstances but I want to let you know that I thank God for making me meet you. You brightened up my day and I know I might not tell you but each night I sleep while saying to myself ‘by all means I must win your heart’. I love you so much, never doubt that, you’re the main reason I wake up each day with a smile on my face. Wherever I’ll go I hold you dear in my heart. You’re the sun that brightened up my day, I can do all what it takes just to see you smile. I also know that I didn’t propose to you the right way so let me do it” He said and pointed and the windows where opened.

Angela looked back together with the other present. Her heart was beating really fast.

They heard some fireworks and then it displayed…

WILL . YOU . MARRY . ME. ?

Angela covered her mouth and turned back to look at Jackson. By that time he was in front of her, kneeling.

“My life ain’t completely without an Angel like you by my side. Will you marry me and make me the most happiest man on earth?” He asked as a beautiful ring was glaring at Angela.

She nodded with a smile on her face.

“Yes, yes. I will marry you in this life and in the next life and in all my life” She said with a smile on her face.

He slid the ring on her finger and stood up then hugged her as the hall cheered for them.

*I told you she was the girlfriend, now she’s the fiance. She’s so lucky.

*Our prince hit the jackpot. His future wife is so beautiful

*Wow they look good together.

They broke the hug and stared at each other. Jackson cupped her cheek and leaned forward. He slowly took in her lips and kissed her tenderly. Angela held undo his coat and kissed him back too.

Thre broke the kiss and the people came forward to congratulate them.

After that the party ended and they drove off in their car.

“You’re crazy Jack. I was so embarrassed back then, why doing all this when well eventually get married” Angela asked staring at her ring.

“Well I wanted you to know how it feels to be asked in marriage in front of a crowd. Besides I don’t want to get married to you knowing that I proposed to you in the restroom. My pride will be so shattered” He said and intertwined their fingers.

She rested her head on his shoulder with a smile on her face.

*Life really gave me a second chance to be happy* She thought.

They reached home and Angela insisted that she wants to sleep alone. She locked her door and then walked up to her wardrobe then changed into her nightie. She wiped off thr makeup and then walked up to her bed. She laid on it and then removed her bracelet. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.

Kaila appeared back I that white area and strangely Angela was waiting for her already.

“Hey Angela” She said with a smile.

Angela looked at her and smiled.

“Kaila, it took you so long to come” Angela said.

“Yeah sorry so many things happened?” Kaila said and sat down beside her.

“Are you happy that I’m marrying your body to him” Angela asked.

Angela nodded.

“Yeah am very happy, honestly I couldn’t ask for more. All I want is that he takes care of you” Angela said.

Kaila nodded.

“Will you come back in your body” Kaila asked.

Angela thought for a while ans shrugged.

“I don’t know, time will tell” She said

Kaila nodded as she felt bothered.

*What if she decides to come back? How will Jackson feel?* She thought

( At the hospital — 11pm )

Nina slowly opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling. Her body was aching really bad. Memories of what happened came flashing in her mind.

*Why did I survive? It was preferable I die than live like this* She thought.

She felt someone holding her hand so she turned her head to the side and received the shock of her life. Theodore was laying down sleeping while holding her hand tightly.

She smiled unknowingly as she saw him…

*Can’t believe he cares for me. This warms my heart* She thought.

She also held his hand that was holding hers while staring at his sleeping face.

Theodore felt someone move and his eyes flew open. He looked up and saw Nina staring at him…

They stared at each other for some seconds before Theodore stood up and cupped her cheek while examining her.

“Are you okay? Do you feel some pains? Should I call the doctor? Are you hungry, thirsty?” He asked in concern.

Nina stared at him in bewilderment. It’s as if its another Theodore standing infront of her.

“I’m okay just body ache” She said.

“Thank goodness” He said and sat back down.

“You ask me to stay away from you and I did it. It was just for three hours and I here that you had an accident. From now on I’m not leaving your side” He said.

“I’m fine, no need to pity me. I hate that” Nina said.

“Its not a matter of pity. It’s a matter of concern” He said and Nina stared at him.

“You care for me?” She asked.

Theodore looked away…

“Yeah, just small” He replied.

“If it’s small then I’m not coming” She said and crossed her arms on her chest.

“I’m asking you, I’m telling you. When you’ll be discharged from the hospital you’re coming back to castle” He said with a smirk.

Nina scoffed and looked away frowning
