Chapter three

We talk about alot of this and I felt more alive.
This happiness deep inside me felt so real. She laughed at me and she even called me a novice and almost called me dumb.

Well, it’s not my fault this is the first time I will be making friends.
“Bye Kathy”. “Bye”
I smiled entering the house.
Who is she? “Mum asked”
“My new friend” I said almost yelling in happiness.

Mum, why are you still having this look on your face?
“She quickly cover it with a smile” what look? She asked innocently.
This worry look.

Kathy, you have to stay indoors you can’t go outside okay?
Mum! Why! Why do I have to stay indoors all my life?

My not staying indoors! I have a friend already.. I got to see how this world look like and now you want me indoors?

Am not staying indoors!
Kathy, you have to!
Mum am not! There is no way am staying indoors not again!

Kathy you have to for your safety.
“Mum I think you are keeping things from me” just say the truth! Tell me what I have to know.

No.. everything.
“She stare at me for some time and walk out on me”.
Mum.. you have to give me some good reasons before I listen to you .

I ran off to my new room .
Straight to the bed and cried myself to the sleep.

Kathy, don’t live the house.
“Mum said running off to the car”
Ok mum.
There is no way am staying indoors! No way!
I went to my room to bath.
After the hot bath.

I saw a figure sitting on my bed.
I was wrapping a towel on my body.
Who are you? Who are you? I panic when the person won’t answer and my heart start beating faster.

The person stood up and turn his face to look at me.

My heart skipped, the guy I saw the other day.
I thought mum said I would be safe here and now he is in my room.

“He was glaring at me with his dangerous face” you know what I mean right his whole face was hard no smile he face look dangerous.

He took some steps toward me.. I hold the towel on my body.
Every step he took make my heart skip.
The next thing darkness took over me.

The same guy came to her.
They think they can run from him? They can’t.

Because he would always know where they were.
Kathy’s hair, it is until they cut it that was when he won’t be able to know where they were.

He can scent her hair from afar.
He went to her room with anger he was always angry.
He can’t wait to avenge his parents death. He has wait till now.

But the thing is he doesn’t know that Kathy has powers.
He doesn’t know that. He planned to make her life a living hell.
He was going to ki*ll her slowly.

“Firstly, by making her restless.. secondly by making her feel unsafe he will torment her in her dream and physically.”

He will show her himself and the do some dangerous things to her to make her afraid of him and then disappear.

He went to her room as he planned and saw her coming out of the bathroom.
“He was backing her and turn to face her”.

Her body was a good thing to look and her hair make her look somehow.
But that doesn’t move him he took some dangerous step towards her.

He was planning to play with her hair and slap her roughly.

And then teleport away.
But before he gets to him the little ant has faint.

Kathy p.o.v
I open my eyes to see myself in another place.
Where I am? I turn to look at my side and Kira was combing her hair backing me.
You are awake. “What am I doing here”?

I found you outside your house at the back yard and you were lying on the ground with your eyes closed.

I thought you were sleeping but when I called you you weren’t responding I even shake you same thing that was when I realized you fainted.

And I took you here.
“I sat up, the memory of what happen to me came flashing on my head, so I fainted before he get to me”
Kathy what a scared rat you are.
Kira, you said you saw me on the ground right?

Yes, you were lying on the ground with that your blue and white hair.
I even thought you were some fairies. “She chuckled”

But what happen to you? Were you sick or something.
Kathy it is a bit complicated.. you won’t understand.
She came and sat on the bed.
Dose it had anything to do with your hair?

I think yes.
Tell me will you?
I was about telling her when my instinct told me not to.
I can’t tell her.. I don’t trust her yet and am not even sure what the guy want what he is.

And the idiot left me outside our house why can’t he just leave me in my room?
He did it on a purpose.. he want the sun to bit me.

And one thing I know was that the guy doesn’t liked me he is dangerous and want to harm me one way or the other.
But am not going to allow that!

Kathy will you go out with me this evening?
Hmm.. where are you going to?
To a party, one of my class mate birthday party.
Will you come with me?
Where? Where is the party taking place.

We take my car .. I know the place ok?
But the thing is my mum won’t allow me to go outside of that house.

“Then you sneak outside of that house to”. “she said in a funny way pointing to my house through her window”
Not me .. “we”.

“I said pouting my lips”
Stop doing that. Doing what?
Pouting your lips. “Why”
Too bad am not a guy I would have eat your lips.

“Eat my lips” I said getting scared already. Don’t tell me Kira is that guy again disguising himself with magic.

Like what I watched in movies.
“No, I meant kiss you”
Huh.. I smiled oh okay.

So, since you said we. Will your mom allow me in your house?
I don’t think so.
Is she wicked or something. Nope my mum is not.
But their is a reason for that, am going to tell you at the right time okay?

She nod her head in a yes way.
Kira, you sneak in and we both sneak out.. “I said laughing”
Ok ! She raise her hand up
What’s that? “I asked”
High five. High five?
Are you an alien? No!
You are one.

High five my hand, like this.
She said telling me how to do it.
Wow… That was good “I exclaimed”
Let’s high five again. No!
Please Kira .. no Kathy
“Pwease”I said pouting my lips at her.

That’s not going to move me, am not a guy.
You can do that to them.
“Please”
” no alien” she said running out of the room.

We get to have some fun.
I learnt that she is an only child but her mum is pregnant .
She said her dad traveled with her mum living her alone.
She is a great cooker too.
She cook while I bake the cakes.

After eating and watching films we eat the cake at the swing.
They were having swing at their house.
Around that noon time she told me her boyfriend is going to come.

I was not surprised though.. I know what she meant I watched that in movies too.
When? “I asked her”
In the next one hour.

Her boyfriend came in the next one hour and she introduced me to him.
“He is not bad I whisper to Kira” yes he is not
He is going to be in the party also.

Kira I gotta go okay?
Why? Don’t tell me because of my boyfriend.
No.. that’s not it I just feel like going.

Ok since you want to.
“Bye” she said .
Can I have a second with you? She blinked ok.

Hope you guys have not have sex.

“Nope we didn’t but I planned to do on his birthday”
I thought you did I would have spank you.

Now I have to go to that lonely house.
Wow.. I can’t wait to go to the party and get to see people get to mingle with them.
See things .

Mum. Thought that am going to stay indoors.
But am not.. she thought this place is safe but it’s not.

I won’t tell her that I saw the guy because if I do she would want to relocate.
And I don’t want to leave Kira.

Later in the evening

Kathy p.o.v

Mum was back with dad.
But I cared less all want to do is to get out and go to the party.
Part of me was guilty all what mum want is my safety.

At last Kira came through the door breathing heavily.
She told me how she enter the wrong room and that was my dad’s room.
I saw him kissing your mum and I had to sneak pass them.

Gosh it was not easy.
What am I going to wear to the party? “Don’t worry I have it set with the shoes”
I got them when Jake took me out today.
Your boyfriend right?

Yass.
We both sneak outside through the window this time around.

Kira show me the cloth she bought.
She was putting on the blue in colour while I was wearing green.
‘The cloth was in the same style but different in color”.

She apply some make-up on my face and on hers.
Kira what about my hair? Don’t worry I got it plan.
She pack my hair and it took her sometime because my hair was so long.
“They she cover it with a wig”

Now you look horrible.
Huh? Why?
I was only joking.. you still look beautiful but more beautiful with your alien hair.

We were now set for the party.
We both enter her car and off we go.

Kira is this it? “I asked her when I saw the white mansion with light all over it.
Yes.
We both enter the mansion and my mouth stay open.
You better close your mouth..

Huh? Did I open it?

Hi .. ladies.
A guy walk to us. “Kira, what about Jake I asked ignoring the guy”.
I don’t know where he is.. “she said eyes searching him”

Hi.. “I frowned at the guy”
What is it?
“Found him” she giggled.
Are you going to be okay by yourself or you follow me .
“She is going to be okay by her self” the strange guy said.

“I shot him a deadly glare..Kira I will ” music that playing loudly and she don’t hear me.
Kira, I will go with you “I said yelling”

The strange guy smirked and I have this feeling that it was the dangerous guy.
But the more I look at him the more he seem like another guy.
Because this one doesn’t look like him.

The dangerous guy hair is thick black and green eyes.
But this one hair is brown and his eyes blue.

Suddenly his appearance change to that of the dangerous guy.
Jeez… Am dead!
What do you want! “I yelled”
