Chapter Fifty-Nine

‘I need to find her’ He made up his mind.

“Where are you going?” Gina questioned, seeing the way he stood up all of a sudden.

“Going somewhere” He answered and walked out immediately.

Thirty minutes later, he got to the door and stretched his hand to knock on it but he stopped. He took out his phone and checked the address again.

It was correct and he knocked. No answer.
What if they are not here anymore? That’s going to be bad.

He knocked till the third time.

“Who’s there?” His heart skipped hearing Claire’s soft voice. He must have woke her up from sleep.

“I said who’s there?” She repeated the question again so as not to open the door to strangers.

Claire was the only one at home because Jason had gone to his uncle to take care of him. The meds for his disease has been bought from abroad and he’s surprisingly recovering from it.

“It’s me.”

“Who are you?”

“Claire, it’s me, Hunter. Open the door, please.”

The door opened almost immediately. Claire looked down at the man in front of her and widened her eyes.

“W..what are you doing here?” She tried not to break down.

Instead of speaking, Hunter moved forward and pushed her inside, closing the door behind them. He pinned her to the door itself and kissed her lavishly. Hungrily.

How much he missed those juicy lips of hers. He missed her so much.

Claire gasped when he noticed his hand on her full brea$t which he grabbed so hard.

He stopped and stepped back, looking into her face like an interesting movie in a TV.

“I’ve missed you so much, Claire.” He spoke.

“I do too. And…..”

“I love you.” He cut her off.

Claire’s legs turned water and wanted to fall but he held her.

“Easy.” He said calmly.

“Do you really mean it?” Her eyes searched his to find out if he’s lying but couldn’t see that.

“I mean it. I’ve come to realize that I can’t do anything without you. I’m in love with you without knowing then. I love you. Please, be mine and don’t let us be apart.” He rushed.

Claire smiled at him and cupped his cheek. ” I love you too. I’m so happy you love me back. It wasn’t easy to be away from you. I’ve missed you so much.”

“And I’m pregnant.” She said lastly.

“You’re what?!” He exclaimed. “You’re pregnant! Oh my God! You’re carrying my baby, our baby?” Claire nodded, smiling.

He must be so happy. That’s a relief.

He carried her and twirled her for seconds before leaning to kiss her lips. It going to be a long night for them.
