Chapter 78

FREDERICK

“I will never do this to my child.” She said in her trance while I felt a ping in my heart.

“I will love everyone of them equally whehter girl or a boy. You will never hate any of them. Isn’t so??”
She raised her head from my chest to look at me as I was already looking at her.

I kept quite because I didn’t have the tendency to lie at her face.

” Come on answer me!!” She asked again.

This time I averted my gaze and simple nodded.

After listening to her for quite sometime I asked her to sleep and she closed her eyes.

I kept on stroking her back until she fell asleep in my arms.

“How I will live in that room without you?” I smiled sadly and pecked her lips.

After placing the sheets over her properly , I headed out.

three days passed peacefully with Ivy taking care of her mom.

She wanted to love her mom for all those years when she wasn’t allowed to come closer to her mom.

Her sad mother was fading day by day and a new emotion was filling her heart and that was love for her daughter.

Whenever she see Ivy smiling, a smile come on her lips on its own.

She was grateful to God that he had given her such a beautiful daughter inside and out.

“Ivy!” She called her.

Ivy was serving cake with tea.

They were sitting in the garden.

“When did you became this much responsible and mature? I still remember the crying girl who used to home whole day.” Her mother smiled.

“I am married now mother. This beautiful relation require maturity.” Ivy smiled back.

“How did you learn to speak this wisely? I never taught you anything neither were used in listening to your nanny”/Her mother said thinking.

” Frederick mother told me. She taught me alot of things which I am thankful of. She told me how important parents are in one’s life. No matter what but you have to take care of them and love them.” Ivy said smiling.

” Don’t you hate me?” Her mother said after a while.

“Nooooo!!! Why would I??”

“because destroyed your childhood. I never love you. I never cared about you. You spent all these years of your life like an orphan.”

“Come on mom. I don’t want to remember them and besides I think them as my trial.”

“Trial?”

“Yeah Trial!! You can’t get any best thing woth giving a trial. God tests me all those years and deprived me for love and kept me lonely just so I can get that the moral that you are alone and no one can be yours until God is yours. And about that deprivation then he blessed me with so many people who love me beyond the limits. This is how He help us. This is how He test his bravest soldiers in battlefield and reward them with success at the end and I think it’s beautiful!!” Ivy said and her lips along with her eyes smiled warmly.

“I never knew that you will turn out like this. I love you my daughter and I am proud of you. Please forgive me!!”

“I have already forgiven you!!” Ivy said kissing the palm of her mother lovingly.

” So tell me, does Frederick loves you? Does he keep you Happy?”

“He thinks of me as his life!! He makes me the happiest woman on earth. ” Ivy said smiling wholeheartedly.

Days passed without a break and now it has been a month days to Miguel’s death.

Frederick used to visit her daily.

The bond between ivy and her mother was getting stronger day by day.

” So wifey when are you are planning to come back? Your room and your poor husband are waiting for you so  badly!” Frederick hugged Ivy from behind.

“I will come back soon to please my poor husband and my room.” Ivy smiled turning towards him.

“I am hungry. Its seeming as if I never ate something from your hand since ages. But whom am I telling? The one who doesn’t care at all!! ” Frederick pouted rolling his eyes.

“Just wait! I will feed with my hands today.” She pinched his cheek and went to out bring their dinner.

“I missed this too much!!” Frederick sighed taking morsel in his mouth with her hands.

“It me and you didnt miss me!!” Ivy raised a brow.

“I didn’t say that”

“What did you say then?”

“I meant to say that I missed eating with your hands.” He grinned innocently.

“No!! You meant to say that you didnt miss me at all but my food.” She was fighting while feeding him.

It had been thirty one days and she was missing the way he used to make it up to her when she gets angry.

” Okay okay my love I am sorry!! I am taking my words back”
He said raising his hands in the air.

Ivy smiled whole heartedly.

“Drama queen!!” He said slapping her arm and pulled her in his arms roughly while grinning.

She suppressed a laugh and put her arms around his neck.

” Let me take the dishes to kitchen then we will talk peacefully.” Ivy said pulling back.

He nodded while she went out.

Frederick stood up to take a tour of her room.

Ivy came back after almost 5 minutes and entered her room with a smile.

Little did she knew what was waiting for her inside.

Her smile faded away while her face went pale looking at the thing in Frederick hand.

“Yours?” He asked in damn serious tone which was enough to snatch life from her body.
