“Why didn’t you tell me sooner? ” he asked

“I just found out too, I’m sorry ” I said and he looked at me and smiled

“It’s okay, I’m glad everyone is okay” he said and stood up from the bench we were sitting

“You go home, I will go home too, I have something to say to Kelvin ” he said and walked away

I sighed and walked back home and i saw my dad sitting on the couch

“Where Is mom? ” I asked

“She is inside the room, she refused to talk to me ” he said and I walked inside the room

“Mom ” I called and she looked at me

“I know you are still mad at dad but can you forgive him because of me ” I said

“Your father said he was single before getting married to me, your father lied ” she said and I held her hand
“Mom, please, I know what he did was unforgivable but can you forgive him because of your only daughter ” I said and she looked at me and tears gathered in her eyes

“Your father treated you like you were not his daughter how can you tell me to forgive him ” mom said and I hug her

” he’s still my father and you are still my mother” I said and she smiled

I walked to Kelvin’s room but he was busy with his laptop

“Hey little brother ” he said as i entered and I sat on his bed

“Kelvin, I have a request to make ” I said and he lifted up his head

“Your mother, I want her to be released ” I said and he gave me a weird look

“Why? ”

“She’s your mother, I know you do not like the idea of her being In jail ”

“But she’s a criminal ”
