I sat on the bed playing my guitar when my phone started ringing

I checked the caller and it was Bryan

“What? ” I asked and picked up but I noticed he was sounding so strange

“Emerald, what should I do? Keith is in danger ” he said crying on the other side of the phone

” What do you mean by Keith is in danger? ” I asked but he already hanged up

With Immediate effect, I ran out of the house like my hair was on fire

I didn’t even ask Bryan where they were

My phone beeped and it was a text from him

He gave me the address and I should bring Reyna with me

I dialled Reyna’s number and gave her all the information

“Bryan, where are you guys? ” I asked on the phone and I saw him peeking behind a tree

“Help Keith ” Bryan said shivering

I looked up and saw some boys round him, Jack was there and he was holding a bottle

“What is inside that bottle? ” I asked

“Acid ” he responded and I could hardly swallow my saliva

Acid??.

“Emerald! ” I heard Reyna’s voice behind me and I ran to her

“Reyna, Fight those guys and I will take Keith out of there ” I said and she nod

“They are too small for me ” she was about to go but I held her

“Watch out for Jack, he is holding Acid ” I said and she smiled

I turned to Bryan and gave him a dirty look

“Are you sure you are a man, why do you need our help to save Keith ” I yelled at him but he was still shivering

“Do you expect me to butt in when jack is holding Acid! ” he yelled back at me

As Reyna was fighting them, I ran to Keith and covered him with my jacket

His uniform was so much stained with Blood and he was unconscious

“Keith, are you okay? ” I asked and he opened his eyes slightly

He lifted his hand and placed it on my cheek

“You……you…….came for me ” he said Weakly

“We need to go to the hospital ” I said

“Why……am i….always deceived?” he said unconsciously

“Because you are a fool ” I said but this time his eyes were already closed

Keith

I opened my eyes in my room with a doctor beside me

“Are you okay now?” he asked and I sat up

“Why are you the one treating me instead of Kelvin? ” I asked

“Your brother said he is busy so he called me here, by the way, what happened to you? ” he asked but I ignored him

“Thanks for treating me , I have to go to school ”

I walked to class and all eyes were on me

“I can’t believe he was bullied by Jack too ” A girl said behind me

Emerald walked to me and smiled

“Are you okay now? You must have been shocked yesterday ” she said

“Why do you even care ” I dropped my bag and walked out of the class and she followed

“Will you stop being like this? Jack almost spoiled your face with acid! ” she yelled after me and I stopped

“Thanks for saving me yesterday, I owe you a debt ” I said and walked to the practice room

Emerald you are a fool
Don’t you get why I’m doing this?

“Keith ” Ciara called as she entered

“This practice room is only for my group, get out ” I said and she sighed

“I’m sorry Keith, Jack….. ”

“Why are you apologizing?! Jack was going to ruin my life but you stood doing nothing! ” I yelled at her

“I feel so sorry for myself ” I said and walked out of the practice room

“Bryan, you seem to know jack more than everyone ” I said as we both sat in the rooftop

“That’s right, before I transferred to this school, Jack and Ciara were both in the same class with me, I liked Ciara and wanted to date her but jack and his boys bullied and beat me, but they didn’t attempt to pour acid on my face like Keith ” He said and I sighed

“That’s so ridiculous ” I sighed

“I feel more sorry for Ciara, because she had jack as her ex, she can’t date anyone ” he said and opened his can of coke but I collected it and drank it

“That was supposed to be mine ” he said

“Really? Sorry ”

“Jack has his eyes on Keith, Emerald, you have to protect him ” he patted my shoulder before leaving

What should I do about that cold blooded Casanova (Keith )

He won’t listen to me even if I tell him

I sat on the bed with so much on my head

Emerald is clueless, she thinks I’m hurting her

2 weeks ago

I unlocked my phone and saw an unread message

‘Don’t you dare go near that girl again ” it was a message from an unknown being

Ever since then, my life was being threatened

Although I don’t know who this person is but I’m having a feeling that it’s someone near me

I walked out of the house to buy some alcohol when I bumped into jack and his boys

“Check out who we have here ” he snickered

I ignored him and wanted to enter the store but he pushed me back

“Stop acting cold Keith, I’m jack and I make people’s lives miserable, you are a big target Keith ” he said and started laughing

“What are you going to do this time? Are you going to ki*ll me this time? ” I said and he smiled

“I’m not going to ki*ll you, I’m just going to do something that will make you feel death ” he smirked

“I should be feeling sorry for myself but right now, I’m feeling sorry for you because people like you always have a bad ending” I said and he punched me on the stomach making me to go on my knees

“I have to post this online so that everyone can see that the almighty Keith Mendler is begging for his classmates to spare his life ” he snickered

“Keith ” I heard emerald’s voice and she ran to me

“Keith, are you okay?? ” she asked but I pushed her away

“Stay out of this ” I yelled at her

Jack squat in front of me and move his mouth closer to my ear

“Looks like your ex girlfriend loves you a lot, should I make her my next target ”

“If you lay your hands on Emerald, I will ki*ll you ” I said and he stood up

“Why are you doing this to Keith? ” Emerald yelled at jack

“You have two options Keith, one, it’s either i bully and beat you up Keith or I go for your ex girlfriend” jack smirked and I glared at him

“If you lay your hands on emerald, I won’t forgive you ” I said and he grab my hair

“You have 5 seconds to decide, you or your ex girlfriend ”
