I sat on the chair in my room pressing my phone while Ciara laid on the bed typing on her laptop

“Aren’t you going home? ” I asked and she smiled

“I can just spend the night in your room” she said and continued typing

“Hurry up and go home, your mom will be waiting for you at home” I said dragging her away from the bed

“It’s okay, it’s like she care about me so much , you are the only one who cares about me so let me stay with you” she said and made puppy eye

“Then go to the guest room” I said and she shrugged

“Nope, let sleep here together ”

“Why? ”

“Because. ……………” she paused and stares into the air as if thinking of something

“Because that’s what they do in drama” she squealed

“Then what happens after that? ” I asked

“The room suddenly become dark” she said and I nod

“I don’t want my room to become dark” I scoffed

She moved to me and hugged me

“Why? ”

“Can’t we just do it, I’m your girlfriend at least ” she said and I slowly pushed her away from me

“I’m 18, you are 17, that means we are too young for that” I said and she hugged me again

“Just go home ” I whispered into her ear

“No, I like it when I’m with you” she whispered back

Suddenly the door opened and Kelvin peeked his head inside

“Dad wants to have dinner with us ” he said and looked at Ciara

“What are you still doing here? ” he asked her and Ciara looked at me

“It’s non of your business, she’s staying in my room not in your room” I gave him a glare

We both walked to the dining room and dad was already sitting

For a month, I haven’t set my eyes on mom or should I say Kelvin’s Mom

I guess she’s avoiding me because of what she did

“Sit ” Dad said in a command tone and we both sat down opposite him

“Keith, did you resume back to school?” he asked and I nod

“And you….” he looked at Kelvin

“I heard you are looking for your father, You must have resented me so much that I made you look for your real father” he said and Kelvin glared at him

“That’s right, I resent you and your son so much ” Kelvin said and I looked at him

“What did you just say?” Dad said raising his voice a little

“Because you are rich doesn’t mean I won’t look for my real father, i should have known with the way you treated me” he blurted out and I scoffed

“With the way he treated you? ” I shot him an annoying glare

“He isn’t your real father and yet, he built your hospitals for you, he bought many cars for you and even gave you a credit card ” I smirked

I didn’t want to say that too

“So? Listen Boy, I’m a lot better than you,at least I have a mother and I’m sure my father is alive, you? You are not even sure if this man is your real father” he smirked

“Kelvin ” I yelled out of anger and before I could say any more word , dad slapped him and his nose started to bleed

“You must be frustrated having me with you, I will leave you to enjoy your meal, father and son ” he grinned and left the dining

The next day..,……

I sat in the classroom
Wendy, Reyna and Bryan sat in front of me talking and laughing but I didn’t hear a single word they were saying

I just sat thinking about what Kelvin said

I tried to avoid the tears from falling from my eyes

“Emerald, are you okay? ” Wendy asked and I faked a smile

“Maybe Keith is giving hard times, I should just dumb a punch on that his handsome face” Reyna grinned

“Emerald, I’m not saying this to discourage you or something, Keith is too handsome for you, I guess you guys are not meant to be ” Bryan said and Reyna bite his ear

“How can say something like that” she yelled at him

I stood up And walked out of the class

Maybe Bryan is right, He is too handsome for me

And his new girlfriend is beautiful more than I am

I saw Keith coming and i stopped walking

I’m not yet ready to say anything to you

“Are you following me? ” he said when he got to me

“I wasn’t ” I said so coldly

He nod was about to go but I stopped him

“Keith, I am sorry……. No, I’m not sorry to say this ” I paused cause my heart was beating so fast

“I will stop Following you, and I will leave you to your new girlfriend, as from now on Keith, we are Ex just like you said that day, I’m going to stop loving and waiting for you, so……..live a good life” tears gathered in my eyes as i said those words
