“Good. I will watch carefully.”
At that moment, Tanner wasn’t thinking about anyone but Janice.
Janice is in this hospital right now.

He knew that. Janice had called him a week to this day wishing Hayley a safe delivery all of a sudden.

She was planning this all along. What did she have to do that? Why?

Tanner knew Janice as a stubborn woman amd always get what she wanted. But not this far. Not to this extent. It’s way too far.

He never knew she was going to do something more bad like this.

After the nurse left to attend to some patients, Damien walked to the doctor’s office to signed the discharge documents.

He wanted to go back to Hayley but he believed she will be fine on her own. At the same time, he was worried. What if Janice is already inside and trying to carry one of his babies.

He got to the doctor’s office and signed as fast as he could then went back to Hayley but she was sleeping already and the babies too.

Janice might have gone back home since she knows that he’s going to be around with her all day.

One hour later,
Hayley murmured and opened her eyes. The first person she saw was Tanner.

“You’re awake. Do you want something?” He asked as he help her sit up on the bed.

“I just need to eat and drink something.” Sje answered and yawned.

She was still sleepy but she forced herself to open them.

“Okay, you can take more rest while I go get something for you to eat.” Tanner kissed her and left the room.

Hayley lay her back on the bed and closed her eyes to sleep till Tanner comes back.

Janice came out of the hidden place she’d stay and called a number on her phone. She knew she can’t do this alone and needs help.

“Okay, just act very good. Tell her you wanna check on one of the ba…… Just do your job perfectly well.” She whispered loudly enough for him and her alone to hear.

“Alright. I know what to do.” The man answered.

“Fine! Just do as you promised. You don’t have much time left. He’s going to come back soon than we expected. Now go!” She ordered the man. The man responded with a nod and made his way to accomplish his mission.
