Xavier drove camila to an amusement park and they both alighted from the car

He had his covered with a facecap and a nose mask, this time not because he was a celebrity but because his scandal hasn’t die down yet

“What are we doing here?” Camila asked, looking around
“Our first date will be here” Xavier said and Camila smiled but the smile suddenly faded as she gave him a quick stare

“Don’t tell me it’s what I’m thinking” She gasped, shaking her head like someone saying No

“We are here to watch fireworks, why?” Xavier arched his brow

“No, I can’t let you watch fireworks when you hate them, let’s have our date somewhere else” Camila said, trying to drag him away from there but he was too stiff

“Why aren’t you moving?!” She yelled at him “You have a phobia for fireworks and yet you want to watch it, No way, I’m never allowing that”

“But you love it, its okay as long as I’m watching it with you” Xavier made a puppy eyes “please” he whined

“Darn it” Camila sighed “Okay, stop looking at me with those puppy eyes” She said without looking at him

Xavier looked around and saw couple holding each others hand while some boyfriends cuddled their girlfriends like little baby

“The fireworks is about to start” Camila said calling his attention
Once he heard it, he started trembling but he tried to avoid Camila noticing after all he was the one who brought the idea

He closed his eyes as the firework was thrown into the sky
He came to watch it because of Camila and he wanted to overcome but it seems he can’t

He suddenly felt a hand linked with his, he opened his eyes and saw Camila staring at him

“If you are not gonna watch it then I won’t watch it too” Camila said and he sighed
At first he hesitated but he later gave in, it was something Camila wished for all her life
It wasn’t a bad sight after all

“Its so pretty ” Camila smiled
“Yeah, pretty like you” He said and this made Camila cringed

“Let’s take a picture” She said switching her camera to selfie “you have to reveal ur face, at least remove the mask”

“OK” Xavier said after removing the mask as he gave a gummy smile while Camila took the picture

“The picture is so beautiful, I should make a big frame and hang it in my room” Camila said, staring at the picture and smiling
They both sat in front of a river while Xavier stared at the river blankly
He had a not so happy expression on his face and one could easily tell he had so much on his mind

“Are you okay?” Camila moved closer to him
“Yeah” he nod and smiled

“By the way….why did you jump into the River? Is death that easy for you? You didn’t think of how I would feel if something had happened to you” Camila said and Xavier looked at her

“But I’m okay now although I will have to lay low until my scandal dies down”

“About ciara…….what happened…..”

“I wasn’t sure too, I guess I was drunk and drugged that day, that what was I did what I did, when I woke up the next day beside her…she swore at me saying I Raped her and since then we’ve been acting like strangers, I didn’t know she was gonna expose me to the public” Xavier scoffed and stared at the sky

“Its okay” Camila patted his back “Quite smoking, it damage the lung” She said without asking him why he smoke

“Why aren’t you asking me?”

“What?”

“Why aren’t you asking me why I smoke?” Xavier asked
“At first I didn’t realize that everyone has their sorrowful story which they are trying their best to forget, they try to get a medicine to heal their broken heart but….. Many chooses the wrong medicine” She paused and held his hand
“I understand you’ve been through a lot, you haven’t been able to see properly since you were young, your mom was a victim of Domestic violence, you were abandoned so many times….I do understand but smoking is not the right thing to heal ur broken heart” Camila said staring directly into his eyes

“Aren’t you cold?” Xavier asked to avoid the atmosphere become awkward

“I’m cold but its okay” Camila tucked her hair behind her hair and sipped her coffee

“Come here” Xavier moved behind her and hugged her from there “how does it feel now?” He asked

“It feels warm” Camila replied with a giggle as he pecked her on the cheek

Later in the night, Camila walked out of her room to drink a cup of water before going to bed

She was about to drink the water when she saw Anita coming in

“Why are you here?” Anita asked with a cold look which kinda made Camila nervous

“What’s with the cold gaze??” She thought to herself

“Why are you back here? You left like you will never return so why are you back???!!” Anita said in a not so loud voice

“Why are you suddenly like this? Are you okay??” Camila asked looking worried

“Forget it, its all your fault, its all because of you, if only u didn’t show up in his life then everything will still be perfect, What’s so special about you? What did he like so much about you?!! If only everyone didn’t know you then I..”

“What are you talking about?” Camila arched her brow “Did you plan the whole thing with Clara?” She asked and Anita suddenly became dumbfounded

Was it written on her face or did she make it so obvious Cos she doesn’t get how people get to know

“What are you going to do about it? Xavier is in this mess because of you” Camila yelled at her

“That’s non of your business” Anita yelled back

“Once a slave always a slave” Camila smirked and Anita glared at her

“What?”

“You are slave to ciara and you love being a slave forever” Camila said and walked to her room not interested in how Anita would feel with what she said

Drake and Xavier both sat in a cafe staring at each other

Drake had a glaring look while Xavier had a ‘I’m sorry look’

“I told you to go straight to my car, Since when did a bridge become a car?” Drake scoffed

“That’s not what really happened……” Xavier pouted

“I can’t believe you, the cops kept blaming me cos they believe I should have protected you” Drake said, upset

“I’m sorry….and….thank you” Xavier said and Drake scoffed

“Its rare seeing the Almighty Xavier apologizing and saying thank you, where is the real Xavier?” Drake teased

“I take that back” Xavier said sarcastically as they both chuckled

“Did you see Camila?” Drake asked and Xavier nod
“Yeah”

“Take care of her, I’m gonna ki*ll you if you make her cry” Drake said, trying to smile

They both looked outside through the glass door and saw their fathers together

“Ugh? That’s your dad” Xavier said looking closer

“And yours” Drake added “Why are they together tho?”

They both walked outside, curious to know what their fathers were discussing

“I told you not to show up here again” Mr Tyler, Drake father said

“What’s wrong with being here? I love this country” Mr lyson, Xavier’s father replied

“Why do you keep on visiting Drake?” Mr Tyler asked as Drake paid more attention
Also curious to know why Xavier’s father kept visiting him

“What’s wrong with visiting my son? I miss him a lot”

They both almost had an heart attack as Drake stumbled back but Xavier was fast to hold him

“Quite calling him your son, you have Xavier, I did so much for you before you could give Drake to me”

“We both know Xavier was born by mistake, I even tried to ki*ll him when he was still in his mother’s womb but he was so stubborn, he won’t die” Mr lyson grinned and Xavier clenched his fist

“What…..are…..you guys talking about?” Drake stammered
They both turned and was surprised to see both Drake and Xavier standing behind them

Anita walked inside the police station and walked to a detective

“Hi, I’m here to turn myself in and I’m here to reveal how Xavier Lyson lost his sight and also what happened between him and ciara”
