Episode 43

Tanner and the guy stiffed as blood gushed out.
Who among them is hurt? Hayley asked herself curiously. It can’t be Tanner but with the look he held on his face…….

His face was expressionless.
“Tanner, are…you…alright?” Hayley asked more curious to know what happened right now.

“I’m okay, call the cops to take this guy away. I shot his legs.” Tanner breathed out and it was a relief for Hayley.

She was able to stand up at last and hugged him so tightly that he was about to choke.

“It’s okay. Let’s call the police for more safety. I’d make sure he rot in jail. Trust me.”

“Thank you for coming. I..I..love you.” She smiled nervously.

“Okay, I wasn’t expecting that statement from you. Can you say that again without been nervous at all?” Tanner chuckled.

“Fine! I love you. That’s it. What you want.”

“I love you too. With our baby. And I won’t allow anything to happen to both of you again.” He bent down to kiss her before calling the cops.

Michelle and jackson got home and saw what happened, the two was glad nothing bad happened. The cops arrived minutes later and took him away. His mask was removed.

“Who could have sent that guy anyway?” Jackson asked. He was actually chewing gum like some kind of nice babes.

“I..I don’t just know. I mean how did the guy knew I was pregnant. I barely recognize his face when the mask was finally removed from his face. He has a huge scar on his nose.” Hayley whispered tightly.

“Wait! I don’t know if he’s the one but I think he’s kind of familiar. My ex-girlfriend actually introduced me to him as his brother but I don’t know if thats true. They look kind of different to me.” Tanner replied.

“Anyways, let’s not go there anymore. We will leave that to the police. For now, let’s get some rest.”

Six months and three weeks later,
Hayley’s stomach has been protruding and she wouldn’t just stop talking about the baby names. How beautiful the baby is gonna be. Pretty? Handsome? She couldn’t just wait to see the baby.

She had currently moved into Tanner’s house five months ago after Tanner convinced her that it’d be nice to have her around and she won’t be attacked by anyone.

“Wait! You can’t just tell me that girl suddenly slapped you?” Jayden mocked Michael.
“Wow! That Kim of a girl is kind of weird. The almighty Michael was slapped.” He laughed again.

“I think I need to see her again. She’s getting out of hand these past few months” Jayden said sternly.
