Episode 42

__Mason__

He so much missed those lips of hers. Like crazy.
He drew her closer and deepen the kiss.
He took her lower lips and bit it gently, he kissed her like it was going to be the end of the world.

But one strange thing, he didn’t feel the sparks he do feel whenever he kisses her. They were gone. Those butterflies dancing in his stomach whenever her lips touched his.

Tabitha in the other hand, she raised her hands up to his neck and moaned into his mouth.

“I missed this so much.”
Tabitha admitted.

Few seconds later, Mason suddenly stopped and pushed her away from him.

“Let’s not do this. I don’t feel the way I feel before when I was with you. You don’t have control over me again. I’m sorry. I don’t love you anymore. Leave now.” He cleaned his lips with his thumb and set to open the car door.

Before he entered, he followed Tabitha out of the house before coming back to drive out of the compound.

He won’t be a fool to accept Tabitha back again. Never.

__Tanner__
He packed up his files and arranged them neatly on the table.

“Tell Henry to get my car ready, I’m going out.” He told his secretary and she obeyed.

“Okay, sir”
It was almost 8:30pm of which the company closes at 6:00pm but they had to work for some reasons.

“Tell others to go home. See you tomorrow.” He responded.
An hour later, He got to Hayley’s house and noticed how everywhere was silent.

It was awkward.
Suddenly, he heard someone scream from the other side of the room.
“Help me!” It was Hayley’s voice.

He quickly rushed to where the sound was found a guy with a knife and injection.

Wait! What’s he gonna do? He didn’t even look like a doctor at all.

Tanner ran to the guy and punched him away from Hayley.
“What the f*ck are you doing?” He growled, looking angrily at the masked man. The guy covered his face.

“I came to remove that thing in her womb. It none of your business.” The guy replied and punched Tanner.

Within three seconds, both started a fight while Hayley lay there restless. Unable to move an inch from the spot she was.

She had fought the guy so hard, trying to protect her baby from him.
Who sent him anyways?
She never offended anyone. Tanner and the guy stiffed as blood gushed out.
Who among them is hurt? Hayley asked herself curiously. It can’t be Tanner but with the look he held on his face…….
