Anita went back to the maid quarters
She sat on her bed and started crying as she recalled what happened between her and Xavier

Xavier kept checking his wristwatch and he was feeling kinda uncomfortable
“Are you okay?” Anita asked
“Yeah” he replied and gave her the umbrella “You should go home, I have to go somewhere” he brought out some money from his wallet and gave to her “take a cab”

“I have something to say to you” Anita said and Xavier looked at her
“What is it?”

“Master…..I…i like you” She said after gathering the courage
There was complete silence for some minutes since that was unexpected to Xavier and looked pretty shocked too

“I have liked you for a very long time” Anita added, breaking the silence

“I’m sorry” Xavier said and sighed “I am pretty shocked you feel that way for me but…..i like someone else”
Anita stared at the ground cos that moment, She felt embarrassed

“I have to go now, make sure you get home safely” Xavier said and ran off

Camila and Xavier both walked back home and Xavier walked to the kitchen to prepare coffee

After his confession, they hadn’t say anything much to each other and Camila had been avoiding eye contact too
The situation was awkward

“Do you want a cup of coffee too?” He asked
“N..No, I’m okay” Camila replied, her voice was different this time

Normally when talking, she always sound rude without using honorifics but this time it was different
It is a nice way to talk to your boss but for some reasons, Xavier didn’t like it

Xavier stared at her for some minutes
The fact that she wasn’t saying anything after his confession doesn’t make him feel at ease
He turned to go to his room when Camila finally said something

“About what you said earlier……”
He stopped and turned back to her

“You are Xavier Lyson, an idol and I’m just a mere manager….” She paused and sighed

“So?” Xavier asked
“So….I don’t deserve someone like you and if word gets out that you are dating your manager, the whole world will Curse and swear at you, Also, Anita likes you and I don’t want to betray her” She said

“Are you rejecting me right now?” Xavier said but Camila said nothing
She continued to stare at her shoes

“Its okay” Xavier scoffed
He didn’t mean it tho
“Are you really okay?” Camila asked and he smiled

“Yeah, its my first time being rejected but I’m still okay, so let’s stop being awkward, it’s so boring that way” he smiled

“I’m sorry” Camila said and Xavier walked to his room

Drake and Nancy both sat in the dining room eating the food Nancy had made
“Its delicious” Drake said and gave her thumb up while she smiled

“Thanks, I am so happy I prepared a delicious meal for you” She said shyly and Drake scoffed

“Don’t act like you are shy, I know you are not, just be comfortable with me” he said and Nancy grinned

“Should I?” She asked
“Yes, you acting shy around me make me so uncomfortable”

“Alright,then I can address you like a friend right? So you won’t feel uncomfortable”

“That’s right” Drake said and winked and they both laughed

“I saw the news of how you got beaten up by Xavier, why do you guys fight so much, I like Xavier too” Nancy said

“This is the first time I’m seeing someone being our fan” Drake said and Nancy arched her brow

“What do you mean?”

“I mean when you see Xavier’s fan, he/she can never be my fan and when you see a fan of mine too he/she can never be a fan of Xavier”

“Why?”

“Our Fans hate each other so much just like we hate each other, I was even suspected to be the reason why he suddenly lost his sight”

“You don’t hate Xavier” Nancy said and Drake looked at her

“What are you talking about? I hate him a lot” he smirked
“You say you hate him but your face says the opposite” Nancy stared back at him and smiled

“Which song of mine do you love?” Drake asked, changing the topic

“Passion” Nancy said and Drake scoffed

“Passion was Written and composed by Xavier” he said and Nancy choked on the water she was drinking

“What?” She said after gaining her composure

“I said it was written and composed by Xavier, I only released it and thanks to it, I gained more popularity” He smirked and checked his wristwatch
It was about that time Annabel gets back

“My younger sister will soon be back from school, she’s kinda annoying and frustrating, Will you be okay with her?” He asked

“I was just about to get going, I really hope this isn’t the last time we will be meeting?” Nancy said as they both walked to the door
Drake opened the door but it was still Raining outside

“Its Raining” he mouthed “do you want me to take you home?”, he asked and Nancy brought out an umbrella from her bag

” I bought an umbrella on my way, don’t worry, I watched an interview where you said you do not like going out when its Raining ” She said and unloosed the umbrella “I’m going” She waved and walked outside

“Nancy” Drake called and she turned to him “Let’s hang out next time too, I will give you a call whenever I’m bored” he said and Nancy smiled again

“OK, bye” she said and walked out of the gate

Drake walked back inside and not long after, his sister ran in, all wet

“Darn it! Why didn’t I take an umbrella before leaving for school this morning” She said

“What a great question to ask yourself”Drake said, drinking water in the dining room and Annabel walked to him
Her eyes caught two plates of food on the table and two cups of water

” Drake, Who was here?” She asked
That was when Drake noticed he hasn’t packed the plates

“Well….. a friend of mine” he said and Annabel stared at him suspiciously

“A friend?”
“Yes….a friend” Drake said and laughed

“Is the friend a girl?”

“No, its a guy of course” he said, scratching the back of his neck

“Then I guess your male friend also puts on a earring” Annabel said, picking up an Earring from the floor

“Of course……I also use earrings” Drake stammered, showing her his left ear

“Stop lying will you? This earring is obviously for ladies, what type of guy will use this” Annabel said and Drake gulped

“Do you have a girlfriend?”

“No” Drake replied sharply and Snatched the earring from her
“Its non of your business, go and study, I’m really gonna ki*ll you if you do not get in college this year” He yelled at her and walked to his room

“I wonder who his girlfriend is? Could it be Camila?” Annabel thought and smiled to herself

Xavier sat with manager George in the bar drinking alcohol
Of course manager George was surprised
It wasn’t that Xavier doesn’t drink but he does not drink in the bar
He would rather drink alone in his room

“Why are you suddenly drinking? Are you okay?” Manager George asked

“Manager George, this happened to a friend of my friend” Xavier said and manager George chuckled

“You don’t even have a friend not to talk of having a friend of a friend”

“Just shut up and listen to me” Xavier glared at him, he was gradually getting drunk
“So what happened to the friend of your friend??”

“The friend of my friend likes a girl a lot so he had to let go of all his pride to confess to her but she rejected him” Xavier said, drunkenly

“So….You like a girl a lot and you had to let go of all your pride to confess to her but the girl rejected you, Who in her right mind will reject the almighty Xavier Lyson?” Manager George scoffed

“I said its not about me, its about the friend of my friend” Xavier yelled at him

“Whatever, so what did the friend of your friend say when he was rejected?”

“He said he was okay but deep down he was not okay, he felt like his heart was tore into pieces and then thrown in the Bin”

“It must have hurt a lot”

“So…what do you think the friend of my friend can do?” Xavier asked trying to keep his eyes opened as he gulped down another cup of alcohol

“He shouldn’t give up, its so hard to win over some girl’s heart but if he keeps on trying, I’m sure he’s gonna win” manager George said and Xavier smiled drunkenly

“That’s right, he shouldn’t give up” he said and passed out on the table

“Xavier, we should go home” Manager George said tapping him but he wasn’t responding
He had already fallen asleep

“Friend of your friend my foot” manager George said, patting his hair
“You were rejected by a girl but you are too embarrassed to tell me the truth” he smiled

“I’m so curious to know the girl who rejected someone like you……”
