“I can’t believe I couldn’t see the fireworks today” Camila sobs and glared Xavier who was in the dining room eating dinner
Xavier had drag her back home so she couldn’t even watch the fireworks before it started

“I hate him” She grumbled still glaring at Xavier
“Aren’t you eating? The food is gonna get cold” Xavier called her

“Whatever” She said and walked to the dining then she sat on the chair at Xavier’s right hand
“Listen while you eat” Xavier said and dropped his cutleries “you are manager, you should always be with me cause I can need you anytime, however..i don’t want you hanging out with people especially those that I hate” he said and Camila scoffed

“Hey, that’s somehow uncomfortable for me ,I can like the people you hate”
“Hating what I hate is part of your job, don’t go overboard” Xavier said and continue eating

“I hate him even more” Camila thought to herself and took her fork to eat when Xavier hit his own fork on the table

“Are you trying to eat?” He asked and Camila gave him a crazy look
“Yeah”
“Who said you can eat when I’ve not given you the order?”
“Wait,what? you have to give me the order before I eat? This is not my first eating on the same table with you” Camila smirked

“That’s my new rule, don’t you dare eat before me or when u haven’t been told to do so” he said and stood up to go to his room but Camila stopped him
“You are gonna take me to see a firework someday right?” She asked and Xavier stopped
“What’s so great about fireworks that you are so interested in? ” he asked

“I just love it” Camila smiled
“But……I don’t like fireworks” Xavier said in a very serious tone and that was when Camila knew he wasn’t joking
He just walked back to his room without saying anything more leaving Camila confused

“Would a normal human being hate fireworks?” She thought to herself and took a bite from her food

FLASHBACK…..
12 years ago (Xavier was just 8 years)

“Mom, are we gonna see fireworks?” Xavier said holding his mother’s hand as they both walked to the amusement park on his birthday
“Yeah, we are going to see everything my Prince wants to see before going home” his mother replied with a smile as Xavier jumped up excited

“Xavier, stay here let me get you a cute teady bear” Mrs Lyson said and left Xavier to get him the bear

Minutes after she left, the fireworks started and Xavier looked up
Immediately he looked up, the firework got into his eyes as he rubbed his eyes in pain

“Xavier, are you okay?” His mother ran to him but he was relieved that moment
He thought he was okay but no he was not
Since that day, his pain got worse
And since then… His mother always blamed herself for Xavier’s eyes problem

“So that’s why Xavier doesn’t like fireworks?” Camila asked Anita who has been narrating to her
“Yeah, to him, its like an Allergy or should I say to him it’s like a Tragedy, he didn’t want you to go because he was afraid that what happened to him might happen to you too” Anita said

They both sat in the dining room eating cookies

“He should have told me that at least I would have been nicer” Camila said and Anita looked at her
“You were so desperate to say with Drake, do you like him?”

“Are you crazy? Why would I like Drake, he’s not my type” Camila replied and Anita grinned
“Then is it Master you like?” She asked and Camila glared at her
“Why would I like a jerk like him?” She said and Anita laughed

“You tell about who you like, Why do you like him?” Camila said and Anita started acting Coy

“Well….I like him because he’s totally my type, he’s cute, handsome, warmhearted, he’s every girls crush and….he’s not what others think he is” She said and Camila looked up trying to guess who it might be

“Cute, handsome, warmhearted, every girls crush……” She paused and looked at Anita like she was crazy

“Don’t tell me it’s Xavier you are talking about, are you crazy? Why would you like someone like him? He’s obviously not your type, you are nice and pretty girl, with your blonde hair and eyebrows, you don’t deserve to have an heartbreak however… If you end up loving that Jerk much than expected you are really gonna have an heartbreak, he’s not worth having a Crush on” Camila said but Anita didn’t say anything rather than smile

“Are you smiling? Is this funny to you” Camila scoffed then they heard someone opened the door

It was Xavier’s mother
“Xavier, mom is here” Mrs Lyson said entering with a Medium sized box in her hand

“Mom” Xavier called as he walked downstairs using his walking stick
Mrs Lyson started to tear up again on seeing Xavier but she tried to hide it

“Xavier, I missed you a lot so I bought you a gift” Mrs Lyson said and placed the box beside Xavier where he was sitting

“What’s inside?”
“Its a face cap, mom knows you love face cap a lot” Mrs Lyson said and Xavier smiled

“Thank you” he said and called Anita to take the box to his room

Camila stood at the dining room eavesdropping at whatever they were saying

“Mom, the doctor told me I still had the chance to see again” Xavier said, starting the conversation
“Really?”
“Yeah, I told him that sometimes I can see but things I see are always blurry and I am always in so much pain in that short period I see” he explained and Mrs Lyson started to cry again

“I’m sorry Xavier” She said
“Mom, are you crying again?” Xavier asked
“Its all my fault, if I didn’t leave you to buy a teady bear, it wouldn’t have turned out this way”

“I told you to stop blaming yourself, even if you were with me, it would have turned out this way” Xavier said and Mrs Lyson wiped her tears

“Xavier, You are too young to be blind, Let’s just…….. Let’s just have an operation and you can have my eyes instead” Mrs Lyson said and Camila gasped where she was

“She must love her son so much” She said
“Why would you give me your eyes? No thanks” Xavier said and Mrs Lyson held his hands

“Xavier, let’s do it that way for you to find happiness” She said but she was surprised when Xavier jerked her hands away

“Mom leave, you are starting to annoy me” he said and stood up
“Xavier…..”
“I said Leave!!” He yelled and Mrs Lyson was now more shocked
“I don’t need your eyes so Keep it to yourself, how dare you come to my house to tell me this trash” He said and walked to his room

“That spoilt rude brat, he’s even like that to his mother” Camila whispered to herself and watched as Mrs Lyson walked out of the house

Camila walked to his room and met him already playing his guitar

“Xavier” She called and Xavier stopped playing the guitar
“What?”
“Actually….. I’m sorry for getting mad at you when you came to get me from watching the fireworks today, Anita just told me how much you hate fireworks” She said looking at another direction but Xavier said nothing

“And…..I’m sorry I eavesdropped on your conversation with your mother, I just think you shouldn’t have gotten mad at her” She said and looked at him
That was when she noticed tears dripping from his eyes

This left her speechless for some minutes
“I will come back later” She said and turned to leave but she stopped again and walked to him

“You said you will come back later” Xavier said after noticing she was now in front of him
“Forgive me for what I’m about to do” She said and took a deep breath

Then she moved closer and hugged him

“What are you doing?” Xavier asked
“Personally, I think crying is the best thing to do when you are hurt, when you don’t cry your wound gets deeper and more painful cause you are trying to hide them, so……..Cry all you want right now when I’m still with you” She said caressing his hair….
