Chapter thirty eight
He shouldn’t be worried since she was sticking to the contract. She had to obey it so it wont be canceled. But did he love her?
That is was the question he couldn’t answer.

‘You love her but you’re still doubting’ His subconscious told him.

“No, I don’t love her. Why will I love her? She’s just a common cleaner with a good body.” He said whispering as he kept looking at her face.
“But why do you make me feel this way? Why do you make me different every time I’m with you? Claire I wish you tell me you love me even when I’m scared of loving you.”

Was this a confession or what?

Hunter stared at this beautiful face before he finally slept off too.

Two Weeks later,
Claire got up from her bed, walked to the bathroom and took her bath. She got dressed and walked to Jason’s room to check on him.
He’s graudually becoming well again even when he had fainted twice within the two weeks which made Claire restless. Mostly about his health again but thankfully he’s becoming well again according to the doctor.

She still haven’t heard of her uncle and she wouldn’t ask Hunter about cause he restricted her from talking about him.

The two on the other hand still had some awkward secret between them that can’t be let out anyhow.
Both of them are actually doing well and keeping to the agreement but once their body contacted, they make love like sweet couples.
As usual, Hunter was always feeling different.
Her phone rang as she walked to the door and was about to knock.
It was Hunter’s mother.

“Good morning ma.” She greeted with a smile.

This woman has really been a good mother to her and Jason.
She really took care of them like her own children.
Sometimes, she would scold Hunter for not taking proper care of her children. Claire and Jason.
And Hunter would have no reason to be jealous.

The party that both Hunter and her made her high and classy.
Hunter’s mother had dressed her like a queen she is. More beautiful. Classy and elegant.
She was actually the most beautiful lady in the party.
Claire stood beside Hunter throughout cause he never wanted any one to flirt with her again like Chris did.

Hunter had left Claire to take care of some thing but came back to meet Chris flirting with her.

He became jealous of how Chris made her laugh when he haven’t even try to make her laugh a day.
He almost punched the idiot’s face.
