Chapter 10

Mummy!!! please don’t beat me!!

I gave her “Am-sorry- mom ” look.

Oh Mrs Lee has put me in trouble, if only she didn’t show my mom the videos.

“Mom, am sorry ” I apologized.

“Sorry? You are lucky they didn’t suspend you.

I would have beat the hell out of you. Now get inside! No supper tonight! “She fired and I flinched.

I ran to my room looking moody, I gotta teach Mrs Lee a lesson.

I smirked and lay my back on the bed. No supper

Next morning..

I got to school with Ara, did about four subjects, had our break and went back to class to do more subjects and now it closing time.

I was happy no one looked for my trouble. The school was fun today maybe it because the rude queen and her friend aren’t here.

I got home and met my mom glaring at me, “No lunch for you ” She said and I left my mouth opened.

What?! First, I didn’t eat supper yesterday but I got the chance to eat breakfast and now no lunch.

Oh my God!

I dropped my bag on the bed, changed into something simple and walked out of the house.

For revenge

Ara’s pov

I met the new maid coming out of the kitchen, she’s just a weird woman.

“Good afternoon my lady ” She greeted and I nodded.

“Good afternoon. ” I answered back.

“Oh, my children and husband are doing well ”

I didn’t ask of her family.

I smiled and turned to go to my room. “Your food is ready, you can come downstairs to eat ” She said and all I did was nod.

I just pray dad come back so quick from his business trip.

I showered, and wore a red tank top and jean trouser then walk downstairs to eat.

The new woman served me, and I began eating. I pray she didn’t say anything till am done.

Thankfully she didn’t.

Fast forward……

Days and weeks rolled by, and soon it was time for the 4days camp.

Young hee and Yoo nah had come back to school but surprisingly, they didn’t look for my trouble.

Their bald hair were covered with wigs, I couldn’t tell if their hair is growing back.

“Am gonna miss you Ara ” My mom said, hugging me tightly.

“Mom, you’re about to ki*ll me ” I said.

The hugging is too tight.

“Huh? Oh sorry. I just feel emotional. ”

“Don’t worry, besides am not the only going. Binnie is there and other students ” I explained.

Mom had gone to see Mrs Choi, she was surprised to see her condition.

She decided to give her one of the shopping malls she owned for her to manage till she get her property back.

“Just be careful okay? And don’t cause any trouble ” My dad cautioned and I nodded.

“I won’t, I need to be going now. Am running late ” I kissed them good bye.

Mi Ho had gone to school already.

At school….

I took a cab to school, I had told Binnie to wait for me in school cause there’s no need to take my scooter along.

Jesus!!

Almost all the students in the school are going for this camp.

I heard my name and saw Soo Bin waving at me.

I dragged luggage containing the few clothes I’d be wearing for 4 days along to meet my friend.

” Are you ready for this camp?” she asked, giggling.

“Of course, I can’t wait to get to Japan ” I answered.

“Thanks for paying my fee, I would have stayed at home if you hadn’t paid it ”

“It nothing, am coming I need to use the restroom ” I left my bag beside hers.

The buses had arrived but the students haven’t entered yet.

I got to the female restroom and glanced at the mirror. I washed my face and did my hair again into a tight ponytail.

I cleaned my face with my handkerchief and came out. I walked through the hallway and stopped when I heard crying.

Who could be crying like this?
I traced it and saw a girl sitting on the floor, her head was buried in her palm.

What’s she doing here?

Why’s she crying? Questions filled my mind.

“Hi, what are you doing here? ” Trying not to sound harsh.

She raised her head up to see me. ” Please, leave me alone. ” she yelled.

“Am sorry, but can I know what’s wrong with you? ” I asked, looking worried.

Instead she cried the more, ” My money was stolen from my bag. “She answered, lowly.

“what?! Your money? How? How much? ” I asked.

“It my camp fee, I should have gone straight to the principal’s office to pay yesterday but I couldn’t find it in my bag. ”

“Why do you have to put that huge amount of money in your bag? Gosh! This is serious! So why did you stay here? ”

“I can’t go home, my father is going to ki*ll me if he hears about it ” She sniffed.

I felt pity for her immediately, “Come, let’s go to the principal’s office to say something about this ” I replied, trying to pull her up.

“No, he won’t do anything about it ”

“Okay, I know what to do. Just follow me ”

We got to the principal’s office and knocked on the door.

It opened and we entered. “Why aren’t you outside? The students will be going into the bus and it gonna move soon ” He muttered, adjusting his glass properly.

“Sir, Her money got lost in the class. Her camp fee ”

“So? How is that my business? Why did she has to keep the money into her bag or come straight to the office to pay before it stolen ” He shouted.

“Well, that’s not why we are here. I came to pay for her camp fee ” I answered and he glanced at me in amazement.

“Senior Ara, are you sure of what you were saying? You want to pay for my camp fee? ” The girl asked and I nodded.

“Yes, sir can you give me the account number? ”

“Yeah.. Yeah… That’s it ” He stuttered pointing to a note on the table.

I took it and brought out my phone. I sent the money fast into the school account in the girl’s name

“Let’s go now, the bus will be moving soon ” I said, and stood up with her.

The principal’s gaze didn’t leave my body till I was out of the office.

I met Tae at the door and my heart skipped.

“Good morning ” I greeted and didn’t wait for him to answer.

“Thanks so much senior. I had plan to stay in a hotel for 4days till you guys are back then I can go home.

Dad will think I went with you guys to Japan ” She said, and I looked at her.

“Well now, you are going with us. So where’s your luggage? ” I asked.

“Ohh. It outside my class. Let’s go take it ”

She took her bag and we walked outside.

“Ara, where have you been? I almost set out to look for you ”

“I decided to help someone ” I pointed to the girl and explained everything to her.

“Oh! Next time don’t keep such money into your bag.

Thank God Ara paid your fee “Binnie said and the teachers starts ordering the students into the bus.

I, Binnie and the girl sat beside each other and soon the bus moved down the road.

1 hour later…

We got to the airport and came down from the bus. Immediately, we were led to where the airplane was.

We entered the plane and sat down close to each other.

The plane was filled with students, gisting and laughing.
I smiled and soon I slept off.

3 hours later……

“Ara, wake up we are here” I felt someone tap me.

I opened my eyes lazily, and saw the students coming down from the plane.

“Wow! Japan is so beautiful! ” I exclaimed.

“Yeah, let’s get down ” Soo bin said, and I stood up.

I got down and admired every where first. It really beautiful in Japan.

“Now gather everyone ” A teacher said and we did.

“You all know we are having a 4 days camp here in Japan.

Tomorrow, we will be having a music and dance contest and we will be choosing the music queen and king among the seniors.

And the dance queen and king among the seniors too. So whosoever that wants to contest should come to me later ” He announced.

I would love to contest for the music queen and not for that only, I love singing and it’d be good if I show my talent.

Either I win or not, it means nothing to me. This is an opportunity for me to sing.

“The four winners will be going to London to contest with other countries. ” He stopped when one of the teachers said something into his ear.

“Okay, I will stop here now. Let’s go to the camp ” He answered and we followed him.

Is Tae coming too?

Why am I even asking? It none of my business.

Young hee’s pov

I took my phone out and dialled a number.

And it was picked “Now I want you to do a clean job for me with no trace. Huh? Don’t disappoint me ” I warned.

“I won’t trust me ” He assured and I hung up on him.

Ara and Soo bin will pay for what they did.

I smirked and followed the rest of the students in.
