King’s POV

” How can that be possible when you said her soul is trapped and she is still living on earth? “I asked confused.

” Her body dies that very day you see her leave us but with the help of their magic,they where able to call back her spirit.” He explained.

” How?”I asked again because I don’t know how possible is that.

“Well,the bunt on her right chest wasn’t a natural bunt,it was the bunt uses in holding the soul even if her body dies.” He replied.

“How long have you know that?”I asked looking at him with betray.

He knows it and he didn’t do anything to free the soul until the last minute she dies.

“Right before you arrive that day.” He answered.

“You knew this and you decided to keep shut and watch her soul get trapped!” I yelled angrily.

” I was already performing rituals before you came there I was trying to tell you not to hold her with my hands but you where so lost in it.

And you holding her in your arms,I had to stop the rituals else,I would save hers but yours would be trapped.

Even when you form the rolling fire shield,I tried calling you but you didn’t answer.

I even tried to enter but I was sent back with thunder which made my back bent till today.”he said looking down with saddened face.

I can’t believe I was the cause of all these,I thought looking vulnerable as I sat on my bed.

“Is she using the same body and face on Earth too?” I asked still with no gut to look at the man.

” No, she is trapped in a created body.” He replied instantly.

“How can we rescue her?”I asked.

” You getting the cure and her,she would also cure you and you are her cure too.”he said making me have the happiness in me.

” I really need to find them before three days.” I thought aloud.

” Of you can,it would make our empire or kingdom whole again.” The priest added

” U will leave it to you now your majesty. “He said and bow before leaving.

While I used that opportunity to study the way he is walking with his back.

I didn’t even realize until now that his back has been like this since the witches vanished down to earth.

I thought it’s old age or it was like that because of the war.

My mind didn’t even think about me being the cause of his bent back.

It must have been really heartbreaking to see me walk without feeling any pain from my body while he had to walk and work with the pain.

And still, he stands all my stunt, as***ole behavior, rudeness, stress I have made he go through,my shouts even when I know he is right.

He is a true definition of elder…
