Episode 25

Tanner
After the explanation, someone came out of the club. It was Hayley.
“Okay, I need more explanation.” Said Tanner.

“Darling, I don’t have any explanation to give you this time around. I will leave you to her. Take care of her. You know she’s carrying my grandchild.” His mother tapped him and boarded the cab home.

Tanner turned to Hayley and gave her a big wild look.
“Do you know about this or what?” He asked her, hoarsely.

“I don’t know about this. It was your mom who brought me here too.” Hayley answered but Tanner was still doubting her.

“What’s happeneing inside right now? I mean who is there again?”

“Why don’t we go inside first?” Said Hayley.

“No one is here. How come we are the only one? Jeez!! Mom told me ladies were In there.”

Hayley laughed but quickly replaced it with a frown.
“Are you kidding me right now? So, you came inside just because of the ladies you’d be expecting right? Pervert!” Hayley spat.

“What’s wrong in what I said? Anyway, I’m goimg back. Staying with you is just a waste of time for me.”

That hurt Hayley but she didn’t react physically to him.

“Yeah, I know. You can go. I shouldn’t hsve followed your mother anyway but I did cause of the respect I have for her. Go!! Talking to you is like a waste of time to me.” Hayley turned to take her bag but Tanner grabbed her arm.

The song was still playing in the room, this time it was slow.

“Let’s stay together for some minutes.” He held her waist and drew her close.

Hayley’s heart was beating like a party drum. She held on to his shoulders and placed her head on his chest.

‘What am I doing? I shouldn’t be doing this right?’ Hayley asked herself.

The two moved slowly to the beat of the song.
Few seconds later, Tanner looked down at her face that was pale. She was looking at him too.

Then, she uttered, “Can I kiss you?” She requested and prayed for a positive answer.

“Hmm…ye…yeah.” Tanner nodded and quickly placed his lips on her. It was short making Hayley whine about that.

“The baby wants more.”
