“Yeah, I know you must have seen me before. I’m Tanner’s mother.” She answered.
Okay, what are they doing here?

“Okay, nice meeting you.” I asked them.

“Hmm…..Tanner told me you’re pregnant for him. Is that true?” The woman asked.

“Yes, thats true.”

“And he didn’t accept it right? He told me he denied the pregnancy.” The woman continued.

So Tanner had tell her this? So the two here knows about the pregnancy.

“He denied the baby but I told him I can take care of the baby myself” I replied and looked away

“Darling, don’t take what Tanner said to heart. He’s going to come back to his senses one day. Do you know what we’re here for?” The woman questioned.

I shook my head and said, “No, I don’t know. What are you here for if I may ask?”

“I’m here to say, I’d take care of the baby with you. I will give you my support and everything as the grandma of that child. I’m sorry if my son behaved that way to you. I want to take the responsibilities he denied. Can I?”

I heaved a sigh and looked at her. Should I just agree to her offer? I wouldn’t want to be the only one to take responsibilities over the child.
I needed the father of the baby but instead, the Tanner’s mother appeared.

“Ma’am, I don’t want you to stress your self. I don’t…….”

“No, I’m not. I and my second son has decided to take care of this baby till Tanner finally decided to come back to his sense.” She cut me off.

“Okay. I’d accept that then but are you going to take away my baby from me after I will give birth?” I asked.

I wouldn’t want them to take my child away from me.
“No, no. We won’t. We are not like that. We don’t do such. Believe us.” Tanner’s mother said assuringly.

“Okay, ma’am. Thank so much for your support, love and care you’ve shown to me.” I bowed with a smile.

“It’s nothing dear, we are even ready to give you to Tanner. If you wants to be his wife, you’re free to tell me.” His mother said with a chuckle.
