Tanner
Her jaw dropped and Jayden’s eyes almost fell out from its socket.
“She’s pregnant for you? And you’re not ready to be a father? Can you just hear the nonsense coming out of your mother. In fact, get a new cloth to wear. Dress handsomely. We are going to propose to the girl.” She shocked me.

“Mom! What are you trying to do? You don’t expect me to propose to a girl I barely know. I don’t love her.” I tilted my head, trying to make her understand but she can never understand.

“Are you out of your mind? Why didn’t you tell me someone’s pregnant for you? Wait! I’m sure you must have told her you don’t want the baby and to get rid of it? Answer me!”

“I didn’t tell her to abort it. Rather, I denied the baby. Enough of the talk now. I’m damn tired and I need to take a bath, eat and shower.” I sighed.

Standing here amd talking to my mom, you won’t leave there until she’s toredof talking. And she never get tired.

“Come back here, Tanner!” My mom shouted but ignored her and walked to the stairs.

“Brother, what about the stripper? You don’t like her? She’s your favorite you know?” I could picture the smile on that dude’s face.

“She’s the pregnant woman.” I answered him and climbed the stairs to my room.

I woke up from my deep sleep when I heard a knock on the door.
Who’s that person disturbing my sleep? Argh!
I’m sure its not Kimberly. She can’t be back at this time. She rarely come by this time even if she’s not working.

So, who could be that?
I walked downstairs and to door, I twisted the doorknob and opened the door to reveal two people. They were familiar.

“Good day, ma’am and sir” I greeted and allowed them in.

“Good day, my daughter. I’m here to see you. So important.” The elderly woman said as she sat on the couch.

“But I don’t know you ma.” I responded.

“Yeah, I know you must have seen me before. I’m Tanner’s mother.” She answered.

Okay, what are they doing here?
